Guy's and Girl's,

The Multipool was specially build to help Ultracoins price going up.

The concept of mining the most profitable scrypt/X11/Sha256 coin, then selling for BTC and buying back UTC is a beautiful concept.

But if there are to less miners on the Multipool it wil not work and the Multipool has to close his doors soon.

Please consider to put your rigs and hashrate for at least of 75% on the Multipool !

Ultracoin Multi Pool     : http://www.cryptotrain.net/

PaulR1 and everyone else. I had mentioned this earlier and received no response.  UTC generates about 43,200 coins per 24 hour period.  If the multipool were to generate say double that, the coin would have no choice but to go up and supply would start to dwindle.  Having this kind of hashrate on the multipool ahead of any other 'big' action should only enhance the value of that action.

We have seen the multipool generate the ability to purchase 25K in coins, last purchase totalled almost 11K.  Crossing 43K is not insurmountable and everyone's coins go up in value.  This is not rocket science. this is supply and demand.

Simply outpacing daily supply with demand is not enough to make an impact. This would only work if there was not a massive supply built up from all of the previous days.

Obviously more demand is a good thing, but it's not going to work the way you think it will.

There are tons of people with tons of coins and not all of them are long term bag holders.

true, but if they know the coin value is going to go up, a good portion will hold for better pricing.

Hello Everyone!

After a meeting between the Developers, the multipool will remain open.

I'm hoping that people will try and utilise it more, as it's in their best intentions to drive the price of UTC up!

Cheers,
CT

To all,

It is very simple to understand, the multipool can only have a right to exist if more miners go mine at the multipool !!!

Richards on the money there,

Essentially the Multipool almost closed today, It is currently costing more money to have the pool hosted than what it would make in fees. Essentially, with the current hashrate and the fees on, the pool cannot even pay for itself.

After a discussion with the UTC Management Team. We have come to a resolution that ensures the future of the Multipool being present Cheesy

Lets try and get the Multipool more traffic! That way we can help drive UTC's price up and help me not go broke paying for it Tongue!

What is your minimum hashpower required for the pool to pay for itself? Or maybe a better question is how many coins does the multipool need to be purchasing a day?

Hence your new dev. team pool is dead, try lowering fees.
If you  make it with 0% fee, at least for a certain period of time, I will join - I am +22% of the current networks hash power Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

If you are that much of the hashrate, why don't you try Cryptotrain (if you haven't already).  They are still at 0%

I thought I might add my 2 UTC worth with this line of reasoning.  My disclaimers include that I have been mining UTC since day 1, I am not a large miner and I am mining on the multipool.  The multipool is currently buying up about 18,000 - 25,000 UTC a day.  Based on a 15 coin block every 30 seconds, UTC generates 43,200 per day.  I do realise that there are many more coins for sale out there, however, if the multipool were able to buy up 70,000 - 100,000 coins a day, we should start to see an uphill swing in the price.  As it stands right now, if every miner sold what they mined, we are not getting ahead.

Thoughts are welcome.

I'm currently reworking the way my pool accounts for coins.
Currently the buying happens every 6- 10 hours. But it is not set in stone, It only happens when we reach a certain quota of coins

Updated site looks great.  If you have more users (hashrate) on, does that mean coins get purchased more frequently??

Cheers!

can wait, no problem for me, i don't sell at this low price

Techsan

UTC Multipool doesn't sell UTC, it buys UTC.  We want it to do that so the price goes UP.

Algorithm X11 is now ready to mine at http://utcmultipool.com/
Let me know how its working.

Code:
stratum+tcp://x11.utcmultipool.com:3344 -u WORKER -p PASSWORD

Where do we get a good miner for this coin?

Check the darkcoin thread, it is the first X11 coin.

Bumface, is this normal that after more than 1 month bagholding in my wallet my stake is still 0 instead of what appeared over last month?

Also, no news about nitro2 pool and NITRO has got 1600-1700 miners by now, as well as 75% or more of the total hashrate.

Something does not compute here.

Another big pool is having problems in the last two days, so I delayed Nitro2 till they resolve their issues, releasing Nitro2 now will be counterproductive, we do not want to take miners from other pools, we are trying to spread the hash, not pile up more miners on Nitro.
If you guys do not mind I'd rather wait 2 more days for this after which we will release Nitro2 that should give everyone proper time to prepare.
Also some other pools are doing quite well marketing right now, so do not want to jump in quick on their growth. Our idea behind Nitro2 is to
move some of our miners from pool A to pool B and not get a rush from new miners. The latest increase in miners on Nitro is not caused by us.
It should be resolved soon.

What if you open Nitro 2 with closed registrations at first, balance things out, and then open registrations? Trying to create balance with influx could become a difficult task.

How would that work? miners need to signup to the new pool to be able to move?  We can not auto create accounts for people. Most of the info we have for them is encrypted. And even if we could, the person moving is the one who has the option to create his account or not, we have no such right.

Why don't you send private invitations first, then open the pool after you have achieved what you want.  Send invitations only to those in Nitro 1 till it balances.

Hey Christian, 10mh/s on my 780 WF here. Cheesy

61% power, so 201w from the psu.

1267mhz core and 6660mhz memory effective. 65c (25c ambient)
Damn UTC is bleeding on the exchanges and buy orders getting removed!! Sad all the same coins are growing!!

we need media of PUMP attention! i know that this is not a pump coin but we need to get some notice! that people are talking about it!
you see it now with BC ( blackcoin ) it getting pumped right now and every exchange is talking about it!!

meby a joint venture that we can raise some BTC to get a community pump going?

Last buy on UTC one hour ago for the rest all sells, if we dont do anything now!! there is nothing to sell anymore

So STOP bitching about your miner settings, because if your mining coins have no value what are you doing?

How about thinking a little longer term than one-two days.  Most altcoins are down because of the frenzy on litecoin.  The frenzy should die off in 3 to 4 days.

For those of you that have been following the pool percentages, have a look now at http://bitgo.pw/utc/#pools

It is a much healthier situation now and we are once again decentralised at this point in time.

Yes that was very healthy indeed.

But lets look at the results, bring Nitro down with a ddos attack, lower difficulty and when pool goes back up you have a bigger hash working on less difficulty for the next 200 blocks.

Now lets look at the math, our pool gets an average of 70% of the hashing power. That means it should demand a 70% of 2880 blocks which amounts to about 2016 blocks/day

We are at below that level, so we are not stealing blocks from anyone. Our pool is running within the norm limits of any pool. As far as orphans are concerned, I did mention this more than once that is caused by latency, and not Nitro. We have our average share of orphans too, if you have more than usual, there is methods to fix that. Not all pools are having the orphan issue, beyond the daily norm.

We are heavily invested in this coin and it's future. And will not resort to kiddie scripts. And assure you it's not because of lacking the know how as we can make the situation much much healthier, It's just because we will not go that low, and harm the community in the process.

We been working behind the scenes with Bumface to come to a nice way of distributing the hash. Without taking extreme measures on our miners.
We are not ignoring the situation, but we will seek a good resolution to satisfy everyone.

When I sent that post, the graph actually looked like Nitro was just under half the graph.  I did not realise the pool had gone down. I just thought that things were correcting nicely, no disrespect intended.

Interesting is that https://utc.pool.pm/ has much less orphans than leet, but almost nobody seems to care...
Just 3 orphans in the last 24 hours.

But most miners seems to concentrate on nitro and leet.

Only 2 orphans in the last 100 blocks and 97.30% efficiency rating.  This pool has not been down in at least 3 weeks ( I think a lot longer than that, but I wasn't tracking it ).  I have been mining this pool since day one and I don't think it has gone down 3 times since it started.

Cheers and Happy St. Patrick's Day.

I've been switching through pools and got almost the same results till now.

Are you saying now is different, or there have been no changes up until now?
