Moonshot: Is Cypherium (CPH) a good investment?
by
Rufus29
on 12/02/2023, 10:02:13 UTC
Hello! A friend of mine invested quited a bit into CPH, because it might be the FED might use it as digital instant payment service:

Quote
The Federal Reserve Banks have narrowed the timing of the FedNow Service launch to mid-year 2023, specifically targeting a production rollout of the service in the May to July timeframe. This further defines the previously communicated 2023 launch window for the anticipated instant payments service and comes as the FedNow Pilot Program prepares to enter technical testing for the service starting in September.

Now we all know how creative people become in the crypto space, when its about getting other peopls money. Could all be made out of hot air. What do you guys think? Has anyone on here done some research on this project?

Could Binance Collapse?

In regard to this article: https://coingeek.com/binance-to-us-authorities-prosecute-us-and-crypto-will-collapse/

Could binance collapse if they get prosecuted? With the collapse of FTX these things became more much imaginable, then again this could all be just FUD as we've seen it many many times before.
Once again the crypto market is on the brink of another apocalypse.   If it wasnt for this possibility I would never want to sell my coins at this point as I pretty much think the bottom could be in. I saw so many bad news over the course of years and this could easily just be 99% FUD again but if it isnt my crypto money will probably be 99% worthless in case of this event happening so I do give it some thought. What do you think will happen? Do you think about selling your coins? Also what would happen with stable coins, would they still hold any value if this happened?

Re: nano ledger - staking?

If you want to stake those token in more safer place, you can use Ledger Live that linked with the above member.

If you want to stake those token in risky place where you only want to get high interest, also you're accept to lose all of your token due to hack or vulnerability, you can use Dapp.

thanks. why do you guys think staking isnt profitable? I guess because you cant sell whenever you want? I do intend to hold the coins for longer
Not really, in ledger Live you can unstake your token at any time as long as the blockchain protocols doesn't have strict rules or some requirement to unbouding period for unstacking.

You can unstake your crypto whenever you want in Ledger Live. However, some blockchain protocols require an unbounding period for unstacking and withdrawal, others do not. Do your own research before staking your crypto.

you're talking about a risk, could you elaborate? Whats the downside to staking coins? I mean I'm using a nano ledger device, there shouldnt be any risk in doing this, or? I do realize that it takes some time to unbound staked coins but I'm planing to hodl for at least a year or so, so there shouldnt be any risks, right?

I put some ETH, ETC, LINK, DOT, BNB and MATIC on my ledger. Is there a way to generate a passive income for these if I keep them on my ledger?

Re: potential moonshots

I put 90% of my money into solid projects and I dont intend to change that. However as the crypto market is an evolving space, its only plausible that eventually new coins with a better tech will show up and will eventually replace older more established coins. Why not look out for those? I know noone has a crystal ball and its hard to spot these early on but for those who are familiar with cryptos and their tech it could be easier to find good projects worthy to invest in and if thats the case I'm sure the investment yields profit. Of course with the hundreds or thousands of new projects launching, most of them will go nowhere and if I were to invest my money into these blindly I'd sure lose and in that regard it would be a pure gamble.

How do you guys think about XPR / Proton ?

Hello!I guess we all know its more reasonable to invest money into stable projects like BTC/ETH/SOL/ATOM/MATIC/DOT ect, but this isnt what this thread is about.
So if you were to gamble with a certain smaller percentage of your capital, which yet small and unknown projects would you invest into and why?

Why does it feel like you are asking for some get rich quick kinda shitcoin investment Grin I believe that this is what you are asking since you used the word "Gamble" I never gamble my investment in crypto whatsoever because I mean to make profits even if it will take me time which I am prepared to take and you should stick to your initial listed coins too instead of trying to catch a hyped project.

it feels like it because thats what it is lol and I'm not making it a secret. I think the entire crypto space is a gamble, just that the coins mentioned aboved, are less of a high risk investment. I'm looking to invest 5-10% of my capital into new projects with low market cap that could possibly go a 100x or higher. If the idea behind it is good, if it has a good team and the project looks promising then I'm willing to take a risk - why not?

@cygan: will lieber nichts exotisches

@doubleU: thx.

2022 List Bitcoin Mixers Bitcoin Tumblers Websites

cool, danke! Sad

Frage bzgl Ledger und Ledger live

Hallo! Was wäre denn ein gutes Ledger Wallet?

Fallen hierfür Gebühren an?
