Re: [ANN] [PASC] PascalCoin: Deletable blockchain - Like Bank accounts [SAFEBOX]

I strongly suggest that if you've been holding PascalCoin for a few years you get rid of them immediately.

I've just had my whole account vanish and the developers on Discord tell me this is expected behaviour for coins that haven't moved in four years.

Obviously the developer is a moron to include such a "feature", and even more of a moron to not remove it even after having that requested as long ago as 2018.

I don't like being ripped off, so fuck PascalCoin with a pineapple. Dump this shit.

Lol... Really you bought something without ZERO idea what are the features that solve?

I'm sorry but I'm not agree with this. This (and other ones like Safebox) are amazing new features that only PascalCoin provides and were fully described.

Your zero research is your fault... Are you buying like playing lottery?

I disagree I dumped all my bags and left the pascal coin project after I learned of that feature as well.
Pascalcoin is advertised for many other things its not that impossible for someone to overlook such a huge critical feature.
It also does noting to help the project in my opinion and only hurts users. and makes pascal coin a dangerous asset to hold

Is there a reason why projects like this one are so undervalued this close to alt season?
All of the Uniswap style dex'es are flying a DEX backed by a DAG blockchain should be flying I think ethereum uniswap fees are like 20$ a transaction.
are people just not noticing? strange.

@bitvalak have you already closed the second week of campaign 11.08-17.08?
according to forum time it's still 17.08

Yes, on the 17th I did the calculations.  The first week was like that too.
This is done to make it more efficient and it does not take another day to do calculations and so that payments can be received immediately by signature participants.
Try the day before the last date you have completed your 15 posts.

This sucks I made 15 post and I get noting because my hours are slightly off its very confusing a whole week for noting

Re: What is the most reds seen in a row on Roobet Crash?
by
Rune
on 17/08/2020, 14:53:07 UTC
I am new to Roobet and have just started to experiment with one of their most popular games, Crash, and I was just wondering what the most reds (<2.00x) seen in a row is.

Personally, the most I have seen is only seven, but again, I haven't played it much. I'm curious to hear different people's experiences with this and would appreciate the feedback!

Cheers!
It just depends how many bets have been made the more millions of millions of bets the higher you going to see  reds in a row.
You should see 20 reds in a row 1 in every million bets I think on avg so it can be a lot
There are people who get like 11 reds in a row and this the casino cheating them not even that crazy think that's like a 1 in 1000
Its going to happen sometimes

Re: How fair is Provably Fair? Do you verify every bet as a gambler?
by
Rune
on 17/08/2020, 14:46:54 UTC
I have never verified provably fair bets but I was believing in it back when I used to gamble I feel stupid for that now.
I did only bet on the most reputuble sites Primedice and Bitsler  but still you should check the authenticity if your risking your money.
I now think its not only dangerous but stupid to gamble at all never mind do it with out verifying the bets.

Re: Are DeFi projects next on SEC's watchlist?
by
Rune
on 16/08/2020, 20:22:06 UTC
These projects that fund the devs honestly should not be funded they scam so much money from people.
We used to hate premines now coins have the devs have all the coins for them selves then sell them and keep like 20% 40% on top of a ICO that sells 60%
Its crazy people just throw there money into it even these defi projects its so easy for the devs to fund the UNiswap all on there own make fake trades like people are buying it.
And then boom take all the funds out after some real people buy some coins happening so much

TERA is a good Blockchain that competes with Ethereum I don't think people see this look at how much Waves just jumped.
and it is a way higher marketcap then TERA this is the next Nano sleeper coin rides under the radar then boom!
Ethereum is so clogged up we need Smart contracts but we also need sharding you have had so much time to get in on this

Re: Bitcoin Rise Due to Lower US Dollar?
by
Rune
on 16/08/2020, 20:05:31 UTC
It's obviously going up due to the self fulfilling prophecy of the halving it does it every single time because people with money know they can keep this pattern going and pump it after the halving.
They will keep doing this until the price gets to high to pump any longer.
I am skeptical of Tether and websites like bitmex having a lot of control over the price.
But I am just here to ride behind them on the tail of the wave

Re: Would you buy/use Bitcoin if you knew its price would not reach a new ATH?
by
Rune
on 16/08/2020, 19:58:21 UTC
I probably would want to hold my value in anti inflationary things because if BTC can only stay the same amount in USD or go down that is not a good store of value.
Its convenient for payments sometimes but not really idk the time min block time and no one willing to take 0 confirmation transactions kills it for utility
At this point Bitcoin has lost a lot of utility in being better money for convenience and cost transaction fees are high now.
the one thing it still has is its a great store of value like gold

Fixed amount vs. infinite coins

Fixed mount is dumb, because there will sooner or latter run out of coins.  Infinite supply is solution.  What matres is schedule that is set in stone before first block is mined and stay that way forever. So at any point we exactly know how many coins will be in existence at any time.
That is nonsense you will never run out of coins you can infinity do splits on the current supply  like with bitcoin if in 50,000 years there was only 20 bitcoins left do to lost keys and burns coins.
you simply would just need to turn the Satoshi 0.00000001 into a 1 and then allow Satohis to be split into 100 million parts so 0.0000000100000000
But when you receive a Satoshi the client says 1 Satoshi and you could do things like 0.05 Satoshis

Re: Are people losing faith from centralized organizations?
by
Rune
on 16/08/2020, 14:07:38 UTC
Some people may be losing faith in the current bank system but those people are not growing very fast.
I think being in the crypto space helps give you the echo chamber effect where you talk to people who already agree with you and you are subbed and follow people who are saying the same stuff.
If you go talk to some random person about how money is not safe in there bank account they will think your crazy.

Re: Using a MMPOG game to buy bitcoin anonymously
by
Rune
on 16/08/2020, 01:23:46 UTC
If you are looking for ways to buy bitcoin anonymously, there are many ways to do it without the risk of using games credit.
For example, you can buy gift cards, pay with cash, sell them for a 5% discount.
Buying game credits is like buying Venezuela's currency, it is very central, difficult to convert into cash, and you may be banned at any time, so why use it?

It is also not an anonymous means as the game developers have full access to all your data, and if they accept fiat money without a license, the authorities will end up confiscating that game and losing your money.

funny enough I'm pretty Sure runescape gold has been the most stable and reliable currency in the last 15 years.
But you make valid points the risk of getting banned is not a good one to take the gift card idea is ok but it also has risk you can get scammed.
So you need to use a centralized service to MM for you and keep you safe I dont think there is any perfect way to buy bitcoin anonymously and safe

Re: Best performing "old" coins on the market?
by
Rune
on 16/08/2020, 01:10:20 UTC
Obviously most of the top marketcap projects are the best preforming old coins ethereum is king in that regard and XRP is the bronze medal. (if you consider XRP a crypto currency)
Many other projects still exists at a high marketcap but you kinda forget they are still around dogecoin lisk nano. And LITECOIN man I cant believe that is still pumped up as high as it is crazy to me.
Litecoin is so pointless at this point in time but I guess its silver to bitcoins gold as they say
