Re: Bitcoin not generally accepted as a medium of payment?

What are the factors limiting the general  acceptance of bitcoin as medium of payment.
What needs to be done to mitigate these factors and open opportunities for general acceptance of bitcoin?
IMHO, it is public awareness.

According to historical data available on https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1635955.0, chain-bet has paid over 1 BTC multiple times before. So, I think, there is no reason not to pay u all in a sudden.

That's a shitty line of thinking. So you're saying if I've paid out users previously, that there is no way that I could scam ever?
Definitely not. But, claiming the reverse is a shitty line of thinking as well. If a game has paid previously, does it increase its chance of scam?

Well, if it's that easy to scam with no repercussions, then sign me up!
/s
Since its inception one year ago, there is not a single scam accusation against chain-bet.com. And u, appearing from nowhere, claiming that because it paid before it will scam now? Are u mentally stable?

Yes of course but that is already long time ago, we really need some recent activity on this site if you are saying that they really hold up to 1 btc right now. There is no updates or anything mentioned towards this site.
The site has very recent activities as well. Please check the dashboard and verify latest Tx dates.

And btw this is 0% house edge? I do not think how this gambling site is getting his money without giving some house edge here
U may think that man has not stepped on moon yet. But, that's gonna be the reality. It has been almost a year chain-bet.com is running with 0% house edge. Enough has already been discussed about the possibility or impossibility of it. Unfortunately, it is the reality u have to live with.

First thing, you do not have real players there, only some players that try to make some fortune so I do not think that it will run well in the future and second thing is about your 0% house edge how much profit you already get from this kind of game? I believe it is hard to get profit here right with this kind of traffic

So I can say that I played a lot on this site.. Sometimes lost and on other days I made good profit. I like this game but I am not sure what happens if you bet bigger amounts. Is the site able to pay for example 1 BTC? I don't know...

this winnings will provide some proof that it has no anomalies on their codes. Winning this huge amount will earn a lot of gamblers who plays on different sites. Some of my friends telling that some other gambling sites have times where they loose fast even if they set the winning percentage to 98% then gives them 2reds on 5 rolls.
All legit sites are provably fair and it is good to see big wins and it is a big advertisement to the site because more people will start rolling on seeing these sort of big wins, you will loose even in a legit site that does not mean that the site is doing something fishy.Even with a 98% winning percentage you might see three to four reds in a row once in a while that does mean that it is not provably fair,it is how things work .

True. I started exploring chain-bet.com after checking https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1635955.0

I am just wondering what are your favorite Bitcoin gambling sites and why?  Smiley

I love on-chain gambling, as I can play directly from my wallet. In on-chain gambling, is there any real alternative to https://www.chain-bet.com? They are offering 0% House Edge and operating consistently for last one year!

Wouldn't it be best to contact a pool manager directly and negotiate a deal with them? Not many pool managers use bitcointall, and neither do their associates.
Can you share your contacts? I do not have any
I can. Care to share the RawTx?

how can i get it confirmed?
You can try contacting some miners and asking them to include your transaction for an additional fee. You can try contacting macbook-air or Quickseller.
Quickseller? Does he own a mining pool? I dont think there is anyone else other than a mining pool owner like macbook-air can help in this case...

OMG. This is the first a project that I have seen, very bombastic.
It's crazy 18 BTC/ZEC  Shocked Shocked amazing!
Price wont hold there. Better mine for short term, say 4 months at www.Zcash-Miner.com. Rates are still reasonable @ 0.0125 BTC/hash/s.
Price has already fallen hard. Right now ~0.75 btc on Polo. I hope, it'll now stabilize around 1 BTC by Dec 1.

Re: How random is the last digit of a block hash really is?
by
Rupert Murdoch
on 05/11/2016, 14:59:27 UTC
Hashes are uniformly distributed over the entire number space, so to answer you question, they are as random as they get. Furthermore, such hashes are routinely used in provably fair algorithms in other sites, sort of like an industry best practice.
Is there any mathematical proof of that or it is just an assumption based on previous data?

Hi guys,
are you mining?
How much ZEC/day could I approximately expect to mine on desktop with i7 (Ivy Bridge, 4 cores)?

Thanks
I am mining with www.Zcash-Miner.com since genesis block and mined 0.01047092 ZEC so far with 10 Sol/s.

if MY gpu cards run non stop about

0.0305 some thing a day or more depend on other things  like pool  luck etc I'm  on flypool which BTw seems to pay the best if my cards don't no idea then i play it by ear, id use CPU's but i have old out dated CPU's .
It is pretty difficult to calculate the outcome in slow start mining period, unless u specify your solve rate.

Re: Thoughts on Zcash?
by
Rupert Murdoch
on 05/11/2016, 14:46:10 UTC
True value is determined through cost of mining. I have a 10 Sol/s contract for 4 months with www.Zcash-Miner.com which costs me 0.125 BTC. I am mining since Genesis block and mined 0.01047092 ZEC so far. So, true value of 1 ZEC right now should be 0.125/0.01047092, i.e. 11.93782399 BTC. As more coins are mined, true value is expected to go down and settle at 1 BTC. Whatever value is shown right now on various exchanges are result of trading.

Your calculation needs to be prorated. It is pointless in any case, as market value determines the cost of mining not the reverse.
What does it mean by prorated?

Which Bitcoin Client do you use and why ? If you use web wallets, please do mention which one is your choice and why ?
actually i am making deals from many platform but my main way to get clients ie zebpay .
because i usually get the clients directly with chat . so for my trust i got many clients directly with total profit  .

Using Zebpay or similar services is very risky. Single breach in their app will whisk away your coins within a second. I think, they dont provide you private keys either. Better keep your coins in offline storage like paper wallet.
