No, this is the total number of tokens that exist. We came to our ICO number by backing into it based on a reasonable annual sales for a number of years based on our experience with similar games and their sales. We can only do so much scenario testing, if it turns out 100 million people want to play the game, the price of the currency should still balance between what people are willing to pay versus what people want to sell it for. Since it isn't a game where you would hold currency, it will constantly get cycled back into the pool. Thank you for your question.

How would you feel about getting in a beta that was still missing some features and functions? That's our concern with just opening it up and having 20,000 people filing reports when it is something we haven't gotten to yet but plan on.

Right now we have the in house skills for spanish, portugese, german, romanian, russian translations, but if we need more, we'll certainly check announce for help.

All the ICO investments have been via fiat currency thus far, we need to put up a ticker board for that.

The game works right now in private beta, we're looking at at least opening up a windows version public beta shortly. We only need about 2 months of full time work to finish up the game, which is why we are doing the ICO, everyone is doing this part time right now as it is fully boot strapped, and we'd like to just make this a full time thing as we have more games on the drawing board.

The game doesn't "need" it, but the idea was to make the time management game more interesting by adding an economic management element to it. So now since the price of 'gold' in the game can fluctuate based on the exchange rate to fiat currency, it can change how you play. Stock up on gold when it is cheap, maybe sell off items like a level 10 archer when it is high. It provides an additional incentive to use the free market trading system in the game. You can trade anything you want, you can trade a village for an army for example, or sell a Skirmisher, or whatever. You and the other party negotiate it entirely between yourselves. If you are done with the game at some point and still have money in it, you can essentially cash it out on a public exchange.

Our team has worked with time management games for years and while the code on this is tight, fast and modular (we have the same code for ios, android, windows, mac and linux and the server code is GO), that isn't really visible to the players, so this was something we thought was interesting.

It would be interesting to get an honest interview with them to see what their goal was, how much they spent and why they did the whole exercise. If it was to prove a point, then having a follow up writeup would be interesting.
