Governments might legalize bitcoin if it goes under there regulations and policies and I think that is the only path for it to become a global currency in because without becoming legalize no country will provide facilities or space for bitcoin locally and to avoid such things from happening bitcoin may have to agree with there policies and regulations but will that will do good to bitcoin or will do more harm is uncertain
I think the path of bitcoin should change first because it is known as a good investment asset in the world which has made huge number of millionaires during last period of time which is a significant amount comparing with other investment options. But in order to become a payment first it should be promote itself as a digital currency more than a investment asset so its options and facilities should be increase as a currency to the general public which can allow them to consider bitcoin as a great payment method
There is nothing to doubt on bitcoin investment because even it haven't done great as a digital currency in the business world which its main vision but as a investment it has made huge number of millionaires during last period of time which is a significant amount comparing with other investment options in the world and it is providing more and more benefits for its traders even now through exchanges and that is why it is a great investment
These are terrible times and definitely everyone should thoroughly go through your information because we should understand that we should not just spend time to invest and trade in cryptocurrencies but should definitely spend some quality time to learn how to protect our earned cryptocurrencies because most of the people came to the crypto world without having any asset so majority has to buy currencies using there hard earned money but if criminals can steal those assets in moments like you have mentioned everyone who is hones is in trouble so best thing to do is take every step before loose anything because once some one has lost something in the crypto world there will be no police officers to catch the bad guy and return the goods
As I have seen from a website about China's nabbing crypto thieves. So, being a computer genius has a lot of advantages to get rich so easily with cryptocurrencies if they will not be caught. Unlike us who makes clean living by trading, mining, investing and bounty hunting, they tend to get easy income in their professional thieves way. Might be this is the reason why bitcoin's value is going down. Just my thoughts..

I think you have been wrong about the ban and the warning. Many countries have banned transactions between BTC and banks, but we still participate in transactions, what do you think, I see the ban is no longer important. I can still transfer money to my account. Anyone who joined Crypto I think they are like me.
Of course you might be correct and that is because i think due to the bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies are blockchain based and they are decentralized in nature so anything cannot interrupt to the network so governments only can make certain amount of restrictions against the usage of cryptocurrencies in various websites and exchanges by blocking them like they do to social media sites in troubling situations
Last past months Sri Lanka's Main Bank (Bank of Ceylon) was banned cryptocurrencies in Sri Lanka. What do you think is the reason for that ? 
Sri lankan government will not ban Bitcoin or any other crypto asset locally very soon because the community members are too small to be considered as a threat to the government or its financial system so until that crypto users can play around but if the number of people and usage gets worse then there will be a huge problem and the government might take some actions against cryptocurrencies

Bitcoin will never go below 5000$ again because it is expanding at the moment in the business world in a high rate as a digital currency and soon its price will rise to the previous level or more so better to buy now without thinking twice and like you have mentioned ethereum price too is low and doing ethereum investments too will be very profitable in the future but for any now is the time to buy and hold

Take every chance of fall to buy more instead of selling because once the price recovers, it will give good profit. It is for long term investment so wait for long and do not think for instant profit. Take this opportunity to buy and buy even ethereum because they have good value when return in good price.

Wrong. Now is the time to either hodl or buy more. Why would you sell at a low? We will be green again soon. Blockchain technology can't be "uninvented".

That is true now is the best time to buy bitcoin and hold for long as a long term investment because the prices is very low compared to last several years and if bitcoin gain in the future the profit margin will be much higher and that is why most individuals who has the ability to afford purchasing bitcoin are buying large amounts for there future and I believe that investments wont be in vain

Especially in the financial market, not just the crypto market, when prices are rising, people often feel GREED, focusing only on positive trends and never thinking about trends. Negative, when the price goes down, then the person feels FEAR, then focus only on the negative trend and never thought that everything would be positive again.
Talk about this for people to imagine that believing in a current trend is only relative and timed, so look at the market trend with an objective eye (out-of-game) so that If not, then it will not be absorbed in the psychological game of the market. Finance is a game of psychology!

I agree with you because due to the continues price fall in the bitcoin history many has lost there confidence about bitcoin and this unlike the past where bitcoin price had good status so even it was not doing so well people invested in it but now even bitcoin doing good as a digital currency in the world majority of people hesitate to invest so the price is increasing in a very low rate
I believe Bitcoin will return with a stronger value and demand because it is certainly going through a developmental stage because even price was much higher in the beginning stage than today there was no proper predefined path for Bitcoin to grow with the current financial system by adapting into local and international businesses and I think that was a major reason for the price drop but now due to the price fall Bitcoin is trying to fix its issues by expanding more into businesses in order to be more useful in the future and it is working great at the moment and also the price is recovering

he also called the cryptocurrency is a
"colossal pump-and-dump scheme, the likes of which the world has never seen."
I think this is non-sense, what about you?

I doubt what they have mentioned is true because the facts they have mentioned are Bitcoin doesn't make any revenue or won't do anything productive at all for the sake of the world but if we look closer in to the Bitcoin market anyone cannot deny the number of jobs Bitcoin has created over the years because we see so many ICO projects that were started by many reputed companies and haven't they concern about those facts when mentioning such things about it so I think even Bitcoin haven't done to develop the business industry in the world to a considerable level but if we give some time it will show what kind of miracles it can do
Hacking Bitcoin is impossible because it is processes upon the blockchain technology and most of the scenarios when some one got hacked it is due to his or her carelessness to protect important information about there accounts in exchanges or digital currency holding wallets but once they lost there currencies to a hacker they point errors in the Bitcoin system and its network I think that wont solve the problem

Russia debate that keys are released to some governments but not others and why are all messages by default
not using end to end encryption.
I am well un impressed and was it to be built well and to be decentralized then no one would give a flying fart
about Russia trying to block the service or anyone else so it look like if you want a job done right then best do it

requirements or being anonymous if it's tied to a phone number so what other networks (if any) should I take a peek at.

Most people are tying to take advantages from software weaknesses so it is our responsibility to take precautions before something happens.
