Update.

1. We are now rebuilding the source, updated for the latest versions of the various consumed components, we will also work with the community partners who were kind enough to provide block explorer capability, and ensure they are in receipt of the rebuilt source in order to get the explorer back up and running.

2. App development to recommence, amended timelines to be issued ASAP.

3. Website updates to be issued. Updated wallets etc featuring checkpoints to be distributed through the website. Do not download from any other source!

We've noticed consistent mining activity on the blockchain these past few months - for that alone we are very grateful!

Anyway, in terms of an update, the world has changed quite a lot in the last couple of months and I've been 100% on work. I'm employed by a scientific organisation and therefore, am rather busy WFH all day, every day, and hence I've had no time to work on the required improvements to CMCN - update the blockchain, ensure the explorer is working and so on. The mob app development has effectively stalled for the same reason.

Not going to make any further excuses, make your own minds up. It is what it is. One comment though - I check Discord daily. If anybody does have any questions, you can raise them in there.

Apologies for radio silence we’ve been busy with work, just back from India. App development still going well but marketing with minimal funds proving a long road. But we’ll get there.

Based on current evidence, and the lack of response from them, I fear that may be the case. If we get updated info, we will let you all know.

On DagX, I've reached out to them but I am yet to hear back. Pragmatically, I assume the are dead. Which is a blow but it is what it is. We continue, regardless. If and when I hear back from DagX, I will confirm to the group.

Current status, and apologies for the radio silence, been busy with work either side of the holidays, the app development continues and continues well, we are aiming towards getting a beta release up and running. But this will take time. We are also working on streamlining our build model (and for that reason I am working on getting our binaries released onto GitHub) and various registration tasks with Apple (which is never easy).

We are continuing, that's the bottom line.

Update on activities, because we've been quieter of late.

1. App dev continues, more ASAP but for now there are no major blockers. We are about to renew our Apple membership for App Store releases, so will confirm when that is done.
2. Marketing efforts continue slowly but surely. This is a bootstrapping exercise given the current markets and state of crypto but we will continue. Currently working on a CommuterCoin YouTube vid (produced by the team) so more on that also in due course.
3. Plans are still in place for publication of CommuterCoin's name in press articles and we will confirm on those ASAP. Lots of stuff in the pipeline, despite the recent absence of comms.

Updates:
1. Exchange listing - In discussion with exchange, request has been accepted, costs to be finalised. At this time, it looks promising. Aim to provide confirmation in the next few days. Note that previously communicated external funding options currently paused pending confirmation on this listing.
2. App development - Progressing well. We are reviewing online map options for geolocation capabilities and still aiming to release screenprints to demonstrate progress.
3. Source - New nodes to shortly be confirmed, along with updated source. Watch out for notifications on this as you'll be required to switch to the updated wallet to ensure correct support.
4. Marketing - Continues, but not as fast as we'd like. Aim is to convert marketing funds to boost exposore. YouTube campaign has stalled due to unrealistic cost expectations from channel owners (ICO Syndrome again). Other avenues being researched. More on this ASAP.
5. That being said, moving ahead with press coverage - more details in due course.

Unfortunately the old source is still evident here as the logo and block height from COMC are showing under the scrypt algo from the main page, so the daemon needs to be blown away and rebuilt from the updated source. We are therefore unable to add this to the ANN and official links channel in the Discord, to avoid causing confusion. Apologies for this.

Testnet now up and running and underpinning the mobile app development. More soon, including screen prints.

Aiming to release details of YouTube campaings soon in order to build awareness, plus we're working on a proposal to secure funds for an exchange listing. We'll communicate this to the community prior to going live but as we do think this is required now to create marketing capital, we will be going ahead.
