It is a pity that we will not see the token at the exchange until the autumn.
As an investor in the project this does not worry me. More important was the August 1 update which was very impressive.
While it would be interesting to see it on exchanges now - I'm happy for price discovery to happen after there is a more tangible product.
Demand is being generated - and will continue to be generated - as we get closer to listing on exchanges. This is good for investors who weren't looking to instantly cash out into other cryptos.
For those looking to do a quick 'ico flip' the frustration is understandable. Your options are either to wait as your tokens appreciate in value or to sell on the Waves dex.
My advice - unless you need the money immediately - is to wait. This project is under the radar - if the team can deliver this would be a huge success story, an amazing use-case of tokenized rental ownership.
Enjoy the ride - or, politely, GTFO

Can you please try to record this with a camera? Do it like legit interview if possible. If it goes right this might prove crucial to keeping current investors and even attracting some new ones.

The joke of all this is that the 'new economy' is built on TRANSPARENCY and TRUSTLESSNESS.
If profit distribution was done through a smart contract - that's new economy.
Instead, investors must trust that ICONOMI will continue their buybacks.
When asked if there is anything legally binding ICONOMI to continue buybacks in perpetuity, ICONOMI ignores any/all questions.
We went from a TRUSTLESS system of profit distribution to a TRUST-REQUIRED system. This is a big deal! And it certainly isn't new economy.
Major caveaut to any of this - As with any crypto ICO investment, you are inherently trusting the team behind it. I'm not saying that this entire process should have been trustless. When I invested, I put my trust in ICONOMI.
My concern is how things have changed since what we were sold on during the ICO stage, and the resulting lack of proper communication/transparency from the ICONOMI team as these changes were made.
The model has changed significantly and the resulting investor concerns were never sufficiently addressed. The way ICONOMI has acted since announcing the Buyback program is inadequate in the old economy - and certainly inadequate in the new economy.

Some people haven't got the minerals for crypto - simple as that. Need to stick to regulation where they can complain to the fca or ombudsman when things don't go the way they want them to. We are sailing in unchartered waters gentlemen - enjoy the adventure, enjoy being part of a new frontier. No need for the negative attitudes towards the project - the tone and direction of it stinks of old economy mentality. Go back to your isa's guys and leave the pioneers to it.

They switched out the whitepapers, the one attached to the sales agreement has no mention of ICN. Honesty is SO old economy.

PS - Trolling rarely contains truth and its purpose is to get a reaction. This is NOT trolling. When people are frustrated by management of this coin and want to a place to voice and share such frustrations - the moderator chooses to take that away.
PSS - I bet the frustrated folks hold significantly more ICN then the many 'fanboy' accounts that frequent the thread.

Also it makes me question the judgement of the ICONOMI team to be granting moderator rights to people who are not even on their team.
Any enterprise worth their salt have dedicated PR teams to handle all these kinds of affairs.
They are delegating the image of their brand to some moron from the Middle East.

Why should they inform before the buy back starts?
If they don't give dates of buy backs, they would be able to burn more ICN. And only inform after the burn has happened. This will prevent sudden price rise and fall.

They informed that the profits distribution is changed from dividends to buybacks/burn. The don't disclose dates of buying. There will be a report about the buybacks every quarter - after buybacks for that period had completed
Their post made no mention of any change. The post simply announced the buyback structure.
Their failure to mention and clarify their change in strategy is straight from the TRUMP book of BS. Who cares what we said in the past! Let's just announce the buybacks as something NEW and don't respond publically to any questions about the topic.

I want to ask if the team will also be burning their own ICN tokens, because if they keep buying and buying tokens on the exchange this is going to lead to centralization of the tokens on the hands of developers leaving investors nothing to actually hold on to, what they promised was dividends before the ICO and now change of tone that they wont be paying dividends again
