they only accept asics with over 300gh/s and dont disclose this information. I pointed an r-box at them for testing for 24 hours and not a single share recorded. I only found out about the 300gh/s minimum once i contacted support.

Shifty share stealers. I would highly advise staying away from them and finding a different pool to mine against.

D9 has abandoned CANN we warned. No developement has been done on this coin since the fork from scrypt

guys, stop wasting your time on this project D9 gave up a long time ago. I was part a revitalization effort for CANNabout 4 months ago and when we went to get into contact with D9 we where given the cold shoulder. He hasnt put anything for code since the fork from scrypt. Also dont forget about roughly 7.8mio coins the dev still has from the premine during the fork. STEAR WIDE OF THIS! BE WARNED AND STAY AWAY FROM SCAMS!

PS all coins have been mined, rewards are only from tx fees get out while you can.

looks like there is something on github still thankfully.
I would definitely suggest moving to a more asic proof algo since x11 isnt viable for gpu mining anymore. prefferably something that is a cpu based algo to make mining for the average user more accomplishable. Remember the majority of people that will benefit from this wont have a lot of resources to aqcuire the coin.

Lyra2re2 is the first algo that comes to mind that's solid and secure.

well i live on the washington/oregon border and know a few rec growers as well as medical growers i can talk with. If you want to check with my involvement of CANN just go to the old post and go back a year. I also have many ideas that could have benefitted CANN back in its early stages but B4zz never took them to heart. I know what you mean about finding a coder, let alone a coder that is willing to put there own time into the project.

Let me know the progress on the code developement. I dabble a tad but am in no way a competent coder. Maybe we can get the source for CANN on github?

Their service auto switches between algorithms to get you the best profits, and since a lot of people use the service shares are found rather fast compared to some "profitable" pools

Was a heavy mining supporter of CANN during the x11 switch and it slowly declined into the poor state it's in these days. If some actual change can be brought about to this coin i will be more than happy to help with server resources for a node

Yea, another reason why I dropped out of this "project". Honestly, if I was so inclined to, I could totally make a "weedcoin" and produce more product in 6 months than this has it's whole entire career.

I recently purchased a gigabyte mini itx 1060 and have tested mining with it. Something felt a little off when I started mining because my hashrate was lower than a 960 on lyra2rev2. One thing I noticed was that it was also only using 48%( ish). But I come back to it 24 hours later and my hashrate jumped up by 6 MHS and the GPU was using 98% utilization. And strangely enough I saw an increase in hashrate when watching a video (~200khs more).

Oc'ing GPU clock by 100mhz and gram by 200mhz. Just trying to get some confirmation of this behaviour being normal for pascal.

I feel the same way, I believed, but then it hit a point of stagnation. I was happy to see the project grow and see supporters and progress with the mobile wallet... Once I saw the state the plants where in I started faltering in my confidence of the team and of D9. After harvest I waited and waited and waited, no canndy to be had. Unless I see some hard evidence that this coin is actually progressing I will have to say this coins original goal is lost and this project is most definitely dead unless D9 can deliver.
