What kind of hashrate are people getting out of the Sapphire RX 580 Nitro+ 4GB and 8GB?  Anyone have a good bios?  I can't seem to get more than about 285. Thought they would be more than that.

Is anyone working with any of the exchanges to get this listed?

I think its a little too early for an exchange.

The supply is very low for an exchange right now and there are many bugs that need to be worked out first with the code.

Hopefully before an exchange we can get a pool to make mining fair for everybody and with a pool you get to use that faster stratum miner.

PMing OC now, haha! He already has a pascal pool, so i guess it wouldn't be much to pull up another.  😀

Any news?

Not much news to report.

Most likely I will remain the dev of this coin. I spoke with a few different developers and most of them wanted to relaunch this coin with a premine or they wanted a large bounty to take-over. Basically nobody wants to work for free.

So I will continue on with this coin but just keep in mind I am a beginner programmer so don't expect anything ground-breaking. Mostly copy and paste work from the original PascalCoin.

EDIT: Congrats to RAY_________ who managed to get a full page of mined blocks.

Dude.. this isn't even fun anymore... Even if it does hit an exchange... RAY, and the others will just dump it... Sad

Lets Vote for relaunch coin.

I for relaunch.

Loss of one day is better than waiting a week. better than to give the fraudsters to profit at the expense of us.

who agrees?

If you want a relaunched Pascal coin my advice is to try TurboPascal instead which launched today. They got the 1.4.3 wallet installed which should fix that issue.

I didn't get in until late, so I guess my question is this:

If adaseb isn't going to work on the coin anymore, isn't it not worth mining now? I think he said it did it just for fun. Maybe scratch this one and start a different one? Just some thoughts...

Isn't the whole point to get the coin on an exchange so others can buy/sell that don't want to mine it?  If dev work won't continue, I guess I don't see the reason for relaunching.

I'm not going to abandoned this coin , if there are any mandatory updates that need to be performed and no other developer has volunteered I will do so. Same with keeping the nodes up and running.

But also keep in mind that this is purely a clone coin. I only released it so no other developer would release a Pascal clone and try to scam people. There really isn't going to be anything innovative about it. Mostly copy and paste work from the original PascalCoin.

In the past clone coins don't really differ that much from their originals. This was released mostly for fun.

Great! I would definitely volunteer to help, but I'm far from being a dev. What else could I do to help out? Do we need more nodes/servers up and running?  If so, I could do that.

What are the plans for the 1.4.3 update?  Looks like they are having issues with upgrading to it.

Yes a node would really help, currently only have 1 main node running and would be great to have another.

Basically when someone runs the wallet for the first time it connects to that main node and then gets IPs of other running nodes but if for some reason that main node is down and someone runs the wallet for the first time it won't connect anywhere.

If you have AWS EC2 account there is a free tier for a year where you can host a node on a Windows server.

Regarding 1.4.3, I will wait and see how PascalCoin dev handles it first. Wait then a day or so and if it goes smoothly i'll do the exact same.

Sounds good.  I'll spin up an AWS instance this weekend sometime. Hopefully that will help!

Surprised Claymore hasn't released an update yet. This new unreleased version must be a good one!  😀

Super late to the party. Looks like there was some drama during the launch. Does anyone think this will hit an exchange? Judging by the difficulty it would take me a couple years to hit a block.

I'm selling my Bitmain APW3-12-1600-B2 PSU...

https://enshop.bitmain.com/productDetail.htm?pid=000201505040743496917U7kGsCm0694

I bought it and found out that I don't have the correct outlet/voltage to run it and don't want to hassle with putting in a new circuit. I opened the box, but never used it.  Asking $125 + shipping.  Will only ship within the U.S. BTC preferred. Escrow required.  PM with questions!  Thanks!

I just got a few s7s up and running in my home here in the US, I had to use an adapter to get power from the 220v washer and dryer plugs to a PDU and that's got the normal outlets to power the antminer 1600w psus. Since you have an electrician you're working with, you probably won't have to worry about adapters but this is the PDU I used.

Is it on a 20 or 30 amp breaker?

What Power is Used for the Bitmain APW3-12-1600 PSU Series

I have 2 Bitmain APW3-12-1600 PSU Series PSUs and I'm wondering what power input they need. I live in the U.S. and I've read that some people are running 220v input.  This PSU comes with a standard 3 prong plug. I have the electrician that we deal with at work coming out to install a new line for these, but I need to know what to tell him to put in since a 220v 30 amp circuit has a different plug, not the standard 3 prong.  What is everyone else using?  I'd like to get my S7s up and going! Thanks!
