Antifragile Bitcoin Was Born To Thrive In An Economic Crisis
by
Sachinist

Bitcoin's fundamentals have not changed and they never will. Bitcoin is the most distinguished representation of money today. It is borderless, democratic, uncorrelated and antifragile by design. For the markets to reflect this, Bitcoin needs to refocus on its founding purpose.

I have a limited number of Facebook gift cards I'm selling at 33% discount for Bitcoin. Each card has a face value of $150. Unless you're a trusted seller on LBC or Paxful, escrow is a must.

Personally, yes. But not in the broader sense as the revolution has been grossly misinterpreted and abused by altcoins.

With 1 terabyte blocks, there will be only SPV nodes for users. All full nodes will be in total control of bitmain or large corporations. This is not trustless blockchain, it's worse than banking system.

Re: Mycelium or Electrum? Best bitcoin wallet
by

Electrum for desktop. Exodus, although not open source, has been around for 6-8 months without any major issues reported. It has a more user-friendly interface than Electrum. On Mobile, I've been using Eclair wallet lately and would recommend it.

Re: Former Paypal CEO "bitcoin biggest ever scam"
by

95% of cryptocurrencies are scams, not Bitcoin. Bcash is a scam, Ripple is a scam, all minority forks are scams and all premines are scams.

I don't expect a Paypal guy to understand Bitcoin in the first place. If he did, Paypal would not have the ridiculous fee structure they have. Paypal is 10 years behind the world.

Re: how much usd need for trade ??

You can even trade with $10 if you time the market right. In a bull market such as the second half of 2017, $10 on almost any small cap used to unfailingly yield 10x profit. If you're leaning towards safe trading on established assets, I'd recommend a minimum of $100 to start with.

Do not put in what you cannot afford to lose and carry out due research before taking a position on obscure coins.

Re: Why Bcash will die in 2018 and Bitcoin will be even more valuable
by
Sachinist
on 16/04/2018, 12:19:54 UTC
I think it will die because of bitcoin increase, and many of the user of bitcoin cash will switch to bitcoin for the high profit.
You got that back the front, BTC users will probably start to use BCH this year so they can actually pay for something in bitcoin without the tx fee costing more than the item itself.  Tongue

What's the tx fee on the Bitcoin network again?  Tongue

Bcash is now redundant. What little value it has now is a derivative owed to its plagiarizing the Bitcoin name.

Bonus is usually a reward for early investors in the project. Signature bounty is used to promote the project on the forum.

⭐ Merited by vlad230 (1)
1) ICO
2) Bounty
3) Whitelist Registration
4) Airdrops
5) AMA
6) Hard Cap
7) Soft Cap
8. Fund Raise of a Company
9) Crowdsale
10) Signature Bounty

I am still unclear of these terms! I would be glad if someone will give guide me  Smiley

ICO - Initial Coin Offering. Similar to IPO. Instead of shares, you invest in the crypto tokens of projects which may represent a variety of things

Bounty - A reward that is offered to those who participate, promote and influence a project's outreach

Whitelisting - Some ICOs require you to be registered before investing. This is called getting whitelisted

Airdrop - Free tokens awarded to holders of a cryptocurrency or token, usually when a new coin is forked from the one you hold

AMA - Ask Me Anything(technically a broader term, not only applied to cryptocurrency)

Hard Cap - Maximum amount of funds that can be received in a crowdsale

Soft Cap - Minimum amount of funds to be received in a crowdsale for it to be regarded a success. ICOs which fail to reach their Soft Cap tend to reimburse their participants

Crowdsale - Fund-raising event. There just different ways of doing it. Usually, there's a pre-sale(s), which may be private, with bonuses followed by a public sale

Signature Bounty - Reward for lending your signature space to a campaign, which varies based on forum rank
