Why when mining monero rx480 hashes much better with 900h and rx580 hashes with 750h? Same setting and modded bioses and on etherium 580 is doing 30.5mgh and 480 is 29.5? What is going on?
Seems AMD hashrates are more comparable without modded bios' on cryptonight. I would suggest trying to update drivers if possible
Mining rigs are not profitable. Calculate that if you bought 1 btc when btc = 4000$ then you get %70 in few months. But if you bought a mining rig or asic? then you will still trying to get roi. thats all simple
Anybody that says mining rigs are not profitable either hasn't mined or doesn't know how to mine the biggest rewards. If you just mine via whattomine.com says, then yeah, you're not profitable. Do a little research, swap between a few different coins and mine new releases.
My bad. I was referring to the whole tower. Without the monitor and other stuff.
As I have mentioned before am not tech savvy.
I think the psu of the tower is the one that came with it when the original owner bought it brand new. As of now its not gonna be a problem i think, since that I would probably go for my initial plan to buy the tower and upgrade 1 gpu.
I am still trying to figure out what gpu to add in the tower, budget and compatibility wise.
How big of a power supply is in it. You probably wont be able to run any more than one gtx1060 single fan or maybe a 1070 if you don't have a psu larger than 400w.
And if you're looking to make this profitable, it probably wont be. If you're looking to build a mining "rig" build a multi-gpu open air rig. These days, even a 6+ GPU 1080ti rig it's hard to net more than 15-20$ a day unless you're really proactive on finding new launch or low difficulty coins.

What kind of rewards/hashrate is everyone seeing??
(those are the MSRP price), sad for those who pay $600+ per card few weeks ago.
Notice that only SAPPHIRE are selling the cards at thos price, other brands still have high prices.
Is anyone running the SAPPHIRE? If they're cheaper, I wonder if they might be using different memory, etc. that would cause the hashrate to be different. i.e. Hynix vs Samsung

In my opinion this coin feels pretty good. It got x5 for the last couple of weeks and the correction was quite small comparing to other coins.A correction is not a bad thing though -- other people will use this chance to buy the coin while it's relatively cheap and the price will go up.
very good coin(xspec)
exchange (cryptopia, Livecoin, etc.), where this coin is sold poorly
these exchanges are dead
If the coin remains on these exchanges, it will never grow in price
on good exchanges, the price (30-50 dollars) is real
Maybe need more time to add this coin on big exchange like bittrex. Sooner or later if the community of this project growth they will encourage the team in order to this coin to be listed on big exchange
It's not that easy to be accepted on Bittrex or other major major exchanges. For example, HitBTC charges 9 BTC for a 6 month listing. Bittrex will not add a coin unless it is truly unique and will have tons of volume. While xspec has the uniqueness behind it, it does not have the following to pump the volume up as it should.
I would suggest Bittrex or Polo, but it's rather difficult to get on them.

Going to let it go and utilize the cash for other good altcoin opportunities.
