Re: Ethereum Price Prediction 2019 – ETH Price May Touch $1450 In 2019
by
Saint1990
on 28/02/2019, 09:44:58 UTC
I hope ETH will break it's ATH price in 2019 but it doesn't looks practical as in bull run price of ethereum increased due to ICO demands and now there are other blockchain infrastructure projects such as EOS, NEM, TRON, NEO and also Zilliqa and Quarkchain is on the pipeline which is being adopted by other startups or already established companies which want to launch their ICO. In short there is more competition for ethereum in near future. We all know in bear market all prediction by huge experts has been failed badly as well as the technical analysis.

Re: New Coins with huge ICO price
by

What is your take on new tokens with unnecessarily large ICO prices? Scam or Genuine?

With such prices, their ICO usually takes a lot of time and people still invest, is there a possibility of it being a good project because I just stumbled on one now with with current ICO price of $2.74 and they intend on increasing it in the future
You can not conclude the legitimacy of ICOs based on its token price and one more thing higher price of coins doesn't mean that their token sale will take longer time. Now a days ICOs with very small token price are also facing problems to raise the funds take example of azbit their token price is only 0.00012$ but they are struggling to raise the funds. Take consideration of other things also such as do they have working product, how they are working on community development, what target market they are trying to disrupt, team members and advisors this points also matter.

Re: Steemit is dead. Is there any better alternative?
by

on 21/02/2019, 18:23:30 UTC
Indeed steemit have potential issues on their rewarding system such as centralization of their token mechanism but steemit is still the leader & whenever we think about blockchain based social media platform then the first name which appear is the steemit. There are so many other alternative to steemit in the market with same or similar aim such as Qbao, akash, synereo, U network etc. Out of this U network looks very closer to steemit & you can know more about U network here https://u.network/

Re: Let's talk about this Bittorrent situation $BTT

If you follow Justin Sun, he is very smart at technology as well as marketing. Justin sun Acquired BitTorrent which helped him to bring 100+ Million users on tron Blockchain & BitTorrent really looks great project for long term as they have huge user base which will result great price appreciation in future. But the success of BTT depends on the how incentivizing ecosystem they build which will ultimately bring more users.

Re: Tether vs True USD?
by
Saint1990
on 09/02/2019, 14:56:35 UTC
There are plenty of option now a days to take advantage of stable coins such as TUSD, PAX, USDT, USDC, GUSD, HUSD, DAI, USDS etc. Before choosing stable coins following points should be taken care of :-
1)Transparency — How transparent is the system? Does the system rely on the trust of a central actor? If so, are the procedures to view the inner-workings of that central system reliable?
2)Auditability — Can everyday users audit the systems financial fundamentals. Can the collateral be confirmed?
3)Stability Mechanisms — Assuming regular market operations, what factors keep the coin stable? Are they algorithmic based? Collateral based? Fiat based? What are the strengths and weaknesses of each system?
4)Fallback procedures — In the event of a failure in the particular system, how stable are the underlying assets. Do protections exist to return users funds?
5)Scalability — Can the system grow to support a broad ecosystem?

Read this post also it will give you more knowledge about Stable coins

https://medium.com/makerdao/part-2-a-primer-on-dai-3b6d1506fa83

Out of Tether & TUSD i will  choose TUSD because they provide monthly Audit reports of account holdings Where as we usually get news about tethers questionable audit quarterly which does not look safer to me.

Re: Lisk (LSK) Price prediction?
by
Saint1990
on 26/01/2019, 14:27:04 UTC
I want to buy Lisk (LSK) now because I see in the chart price grow up from the bottom and upcoming event https://lisk.io/events/lisk-center-utrecht-meetup. whats your idea buy now?
http://prntscr.com/m8yd7s

As far as I know meetup does not tend price of the altcoins in uptrend side, if they announce any news about developments & partneship then there will be chances of the increase in value of the LSK. We are in the 2nd year of bear market a lot of projects have failed despite having good tech because they do not have users & LISK needs to work on adoption then & then only price will increase.

Re: Which projects in the market use ipfs technology?
by

on 26/01/2019, 13:51:04 UTC
What IPFS means? explain more of it so we can gain knowledge and at the same I can give my feedback about it.
Giving a coin wont be enough if what you want to ask isnt even clear.

IPSF means the Interplanetary File System, It’s a peer-to-peer (p2p) filesharing system that aims to fundamentally change the way information is distributed across & beyond the globe. IPFS consists of several innovations in communication protocols and distributed systems that have been combined to produce a file system like no other.
You can read here in depth about IPSF & wat they are trying to achieve here https://hackernoon.com/a-beginners-guide-to-ipfs-20673fedd3f.

ProximaX (XPX)? filecoin?
other?

here is the list of upcoming projects being built on the IPSF

Akasha, a Next-Generation social network

Balance3, a triple-entry accounting platform

BlockFreight, an open network for global freight

Digix, a platform for tokenizing physical gold

Infura, an infrastructure provider for DApps

Livepeer, a decentralized live-video streaming platform

Origin, a peer-to-peer marketplace for the sharing economy

uPort, a self-sovereign identity system.

Re: High or Low Supply: Which do you prefer?
by
Saint1990
on 25/01/2019, 13:45:52 UTC
The price of an asset is determined by the demand & supply that is why I prefer low supply coin with good tech, working product & strong developers as whenever demand rises the value of coin or token gets increases & stays for longer time. Take example of few projects like XZC, SKY & LUN Etc. Also you can read this article about Low supply Tokens and why they are good for investment https://medium.com/covesting/low-supply-tokens-and-why-it-is-good-for-investors-36da1aa196d5

Re: Mistake you should avoid when holding your Altcoins
by
Saint1990
on 25/01/2019, 12:52:40 UTC
If you know the trends 90% of the ICOs when listed on the exchange their token values goes down within a week about 30% to 90% from its ICO price. So its better to sale token initially & buyback later if you think project have potential & can give you profit on longer run. In this way you can multiply your holdings & have more token in your pockets. You can see the ICO ROI Status here https://icodrops.com/ico-stats/

Re: The Power of Decision
by
Saint1990
on 25/01/2019, 11:29:41 UTC
How long will you waver between two opinions. Sometimes opinions might even be more than two.
I am not saying you should not ask for people's opinion, but that there are some things you should decide on your own, based on your observation or research.

Take for instance, you want to buy a coin and you are asking people for their opinion on it. I will not deceive you, you will only be tod what will benefit them.

Everyone is looking for how the coin he is holding will pump, so he will do what will bring him profit.

Do your research on the coin of your choice
Search for updates
Go through their social media groups, handles or channels and see what is happening. That can give you a clue to what you should do.

Avoid being deceived by multiple opinions and do make the decision that suits you.

Its good to listen others opinion but one should follow his own decision by doing proper research, first to do research he/she must have at list basic knowledge about this field. There are so many free social media platforms like Youtube, Steemit, Medium, Bitcointalk forum & cryptocurrency related websites like ambcrypto, bitcoinexchangeguide, cointelegraph etc to learn basic & current trends going in the market. Following social media handles of top 100 projects listed on CMC like twitter by keeping notification on also gives quick information about the project like about their upcoming events such as testnet, mainnet, node integration, huge partnership announcement which in most of the cases pumps the price of the token, can also help in self decision making.

Re: exchange fees that no one talks about
by

Indeed exchange charges fee for providing services, but there are several centralized exchanges which charges ridiculously higher fee & have higher withdrawal limits. I have not used tradesatoshi but most of the exchanges have variable exchange fees & I find Huobi, Binance, Gate.io reliable for me.

Re: Now is the bear market, which coins are the whales accumulating?
by
Saint1990
on 22/01/2019, 23:31:14 UTC
I think whales are accumulating BTC as much as they can as BTC have major dominance over cryptocurrency market & is less volatile as compared to altcoins. There is major developments going on in the market about Bakkts launching, Bitcoin ETF which will increase demand of BTC in future & lead price of BTC in uptrend direction.

Re: ETH after "Constantinople"
by
Saint1990
on 22/01/2019, 23:20:02 UTC
what you think about constantinople fork? its coming in 1 day.

here is 2 fact :

1 - new ETH will 2 in per block, this is good. (circulation suply will grow less then now)
2 - (PoS)  algorithm.  i think SEC and PoS arenot friends Smiley

your predict about 2019 and ETHEREUM Smiley
Ethereum devs are taking a lot of precaution to make this Constantinople hard-fork successful last week they delayed their hard-fork due to security issues. I have not seen issues of SEC with any POS algorithm coin except privacy coins. IMO after the hard-fork price will grow gradually & it will also depend on the users experience/reviews ho faces scalability.

Re: ICO New format scam
by
Saint1990
on 22/01/2019, 23:06:38 UTC
Hai guys now days people are really  depressed this kind of new scam .They are Lost lot amount from this kind of format and getting only 40% return back.

1) ICO Stopped or Paused

2) Refund - When  eth more 200 to 300 USD people invested some ICO now they are stopped and started refund now Eth price 95 USD .

3) Some ICO announced Soft cap reached successfully later their also follow this kind of refund method .

ex:
Trecento , Humancoin ,Vanig and etc.

At list you should be happy they returned your ether as there are Scammy ICOs who don't even bother to return the funds to the investors. What if you think from project point of view if they converted their raised funds into USD the instead of Bear market Bull run started??? Investors invested Ether & ether is very volatile at list they refunded investors.

Re: Should We Trust Blockchain ?
by
Saint1990
on 22/01/2019, 22:40:22 UTC
A blockchain is a continuously growing, append-only, list of records called blocks or transaction secured by the cryptography which not hack-able. The exchange gets hacked due to security breaches in the codes. Exchange which uses hot wallets are prone to get hacked usually as compare to exchange which store cryptocurrencies in cold wallet.

by
Saint1990
on 22/01/2019, 22:18:18 UTC
Cryptomarket is very volatile, easy to manipulate & easy to make scams by fake ICOs because of lack of proper regulation. Security Token offering will help surely to tackle the scam problems as they will have to go through the security laws & the market manipulation will also be reduced significantly as there will be separate exchange platform to trade specially security tokens.

by

on 22/01/2019, 22:07:56 UTC
We are still in bear market & Eth Constantinople hardfork is non-contentious so there is no chance of getting separate forked coins. This Constantinople hardfork will surely bring price on uptrend but not too much & also they have delayed their hardofrk to Feb 2019 due to security issues.

Finally ethereum classic vision hardfork is turned out to be scam & they required private keys of peoples who wanted to take advantage of hard forked Coin ECTV but sadly some they may have fallen into their hands & could have lost his or her existing ETH or other token by giving private keys. Thanks Op for creating this post to make BTT members vigilant.
