If the crypto is free of scam, then regulations is not needed but with so many people who are victim of these scammers and using crypto to make money from people, then we need regulations to step in . It will not be the best solution but somehow it could lessen the problem.
Regulation is needed, this way it will call a white money, it will come under taxes and crypto community needed to pay the taxes as well, it will help the countries honestly.
This year has been a bit challenging for bitcoins as well as Ether to survive. Bitcoins are facing a quite low price now and also i think that most of the investors have taken their money off bitcoins.

We all know that bitcoins really pumped a lot in 2017 but from the starting of 2018 bitcoins are low. A lot of FUD was been created and bitcoins really faced a lot of difficulties. Price for bitcoins at the starting of 2018 has been low similar to the year 2017.
I really hope that the price for bitcoins can again show us immense growth as it showed in 2017.

Thats a nice decent strategy, almost similar to mine, I am also hodling my bitcoin for the next couple of years atleast.
Will you encourage others to invest in crypto and explain to them that this is not a scam or a pyramiding activity?
I have already done it, and some people are really interested. However, many of them said that 'this is not real money' and is not like cash in general. But one thing that I discovered from their recent behavior was that everyone I talked to about crypto, the majority had heard about bitcoin, even though they didn't understand what it was, so I was sure all this was just a matter of time.
Thats the same problem with me, most of the people I told never agreed with me.
Hodl is the best policy if you are having a legit crypto currency, I mean the best 20 coins or so. I am sure no matter at what price you have purchased, you will earn good decent profit in next bull run.

First it will not going to reach at that point in a year, secondly nothing will happen. May be some price decline but still tis a great project to keep its pricing high.
I think that bitcoin and the whole crypto was invented and created for manipulating and managing the population. To do this, advertising crypto as a decentralized currency that can not be traced.
No thats untrue, this wasn't the cause of building the crypto world.
But now, at this time , I think we have to carefully select projects , at the expense of 80 percent, I agree.
Selection of a project is always the top most thing.
Some times 20 profit is good, even 10% is not bad in some cases. But if you purchase XVG today at the rate of some what close to 250 sats, and you hodl it for a few months and sell the XVG at 1000 sats then thats 400% profit. and is possible when it comes to XVG. 
yes we have to change with a different way of thinking than before, thinking if we are able to get rich with bitcoin, think that bitcoin can still stand for us .
Unfortunately most people came to crypto market just to get rich quick likewise in pyramid schemes which actually bitcoin Is not. Ofcourse it can make you rich but you have to be patient with it.
