Argh!!!!   I was mining the crap out of this when it was 30 sat and at times I was the only one on the network.  Old dead coins?  Got plenty, who doesn't.  Sold 50,000 at 27 sat because a bird in hand etc.  Yeah, the day I get a break will be the day I get hit by a bus.

I cant get my wallet to sync past block 1222985

I tried all the suggestions to fix it with no luck.

I waited for a new release to see if that would fix it and still nothing.

I downloaded the http://108.61.216.160/cryptochainer.chains/chains/BlackCoin_blockchain.zip

I opened it with the new client and still nothing.

any help would be appreciated as i have about 10k coins

I have another computer that has a wallet that is synced but I cant figure out how to import the private key

I loved this coin and staking wallet when it worked but now very frustrated

Why would it work for a while then stop syncing correctly

I'm not tech savvy so any instruction should be as if you were explaining how to fix it to a child

Its been a while since I merge mined because I wanted to keep my original cygnusxi username... well those days are done! In hindsight I wish I would have merge folded all along..

Anyways as you can see from my post I am missing a figure for a profit estimate for FLDC. If anyone can help me with a rough estimate I can go back on update that and hopefully some more people jumping into cure will decide to merge fold with FLDC.

A lot of you do merge mine with curecoin already, even if you dont we can all take a little claim in team curecoin being rank 3 now so congrats on being a very big part in making that happen in many ways. I have reopened comms with the FLDC crew a bit. Both teams are pretty busy striking while the iron is hot I believe but we agree that FLDC and CURE merge folding is definitely a good reason for us to work closer going forward.

I found the video most helpful.

The Counterparty wallet provides a Bitcoin address. You enter username_FLDC_1BitcoinAddress into the f@h client. The text file of all folders is downloaded by the FoldingCoin team and parsed to find FLDC or ALL or SCOT plus the Bitcoin address.

I still don't understand how folders are paid in FLDC as they provide a Bitcoin address not a FLDC address.

In my case, I created a wallet with https://counterwallet.coindaddy.io/#, which gave me a Bitcoin address. Was I supposed to do something else?
