Re: Drop in ICO Price after listing
by
Sama517
on 02/06/2019, 00:00:38 UTC
I invested and joined as bounty hunter in many ICO which has good concept, experienced team members and also good hype but after listing price drops very much. Some of project also not recovering since long time. Any comment.
So many people have actually complained about this persistently and it seems the only way to curb it is avoid buying during the ICO and focus on buying after listing. It will help you to mitigate against losses and regrets.

Re: Will Monero Reach $500 in 2019?
by
Sama517
on 01/06/2019, 23:58:02 UTC
There is a total availibility of 18.4 million Monero in the market, and out of that 16.7 million has already been mined, since the genesis of the cryptocurrency back in 2014.

Now as mentioned before, the limit of mining Monero is 18.4 million, 16.7 million of which has already been mined. It has been noticed that a more finite a resource is, the more valuable it becomes.

Similarly, it can be predicted that the more finite Monero will become as a cryptocurrency, the more likely it is for the prices of Monero to shoot up.

You can find detail info also here: Monero Price Prediction

Now Let me know what you guys think about it? Will Monero Reach $500 in 2019?
Getting to $500 for Monero this year is quite a huge mountain to climb. I think that is nearly impossible except if we have an extremely high bull run market where BTC can get to $30,000.

Re: Airdrops still favors
by

Am I just lucky or was it because I'm more careful when picking airdrops? Many are complaining about airdrops been shitcoins or worthless but my own story is plain different, even when I blindly joined airdrop in 2018 im still able to make few good money out of airdrops
1)i make 100$ plus from MTC airdrop, I was given 400tokens and I sold on bitcnia, MTC coin is a Korean project and I was shocked how it manages to keep price at 0.30plus even in bear market
2)another one is originalmy ,a Brazil based project and I did make 70$ worth of tokens and I'm able to sell off too
3)was Apollo currency airdrop, I earned 23,000 pieces and able to sell at 0.0023 which was 53$
And many more, I don't know why people are complaining about airdrops, they arent that bad as stated
Yes I quite agree with you, but the chances are dwindling more and more. If you have to do airdrops as a form of passive income, it is fine. But don't rely much on it because only one out of ten airdrops may be useful.

Re: If the government supports bitcoin instead of the existing currency.
by

Neither bitcoin nor paper money has any real value, but notes have national credit support, and what if bitcoin also gets national credit? The government will lose its macro-control policy but it can also effectively eliminate inflation, two relative ratios. Is that a good result? Of course, I know that the government is very unlikely to support bitcoin, but who knows?
It is going to be very difficult for government to support bitcoin. The government may be wary of Bitcoin or the blockchain because they have no control of it.

Re: Can Bitcoin Beat Banks?
by
Sama517
on 24/05/2019, 23:54:36 UTC

The question: can cryptocurrency beat legacy financial institutions to the point of replacing them?

Why not. As at the time of just paper mails, no one could have ever imagined that one day the electronic mail system would push away almost all the paper postal services. So, the cryptocurrency evolution can also do it.

Re: Bounty Hunters Dump Always?
by
Sama517
on 11/01/2019, 23:10:16 UTC
Do all bounty hunters dump Cryptos after they get paid?

I believe this is not a fair assessment as a lot has to do with the crypto project itself.

Its a matter of perspective really, not all bounty hunters have the same experience or motive, some people just need an opportunity to get crypto for projects that are very difficult to get in the token sales, Example is Ncash tokens of Nucleus.Vision the project has a 1 million USD budget and it is still above ICO price even in the bear market.

Additionally some projects treat bought hunters badly which will not encourage them to stick around for much longer after they get their tokens.

I believe tokens or coins getting dumped by bounty hunters depends a lot on the project itself.
The dumping by bounty hunters seems to have reduced. Maybe it's due to the fact that they don't get too much tokens again from bounty campaigns unlike before. So dumping the little tokens will amount to peanut which may not even cover the cost of their internet subscription.

Re: What will you do in 2019?
by
Sama517
on 11/01/2019, 23:07:13 UTC

, but how if the market does not improve in 2019? what will you do with all the assets you have?  will you sell all? or Will you make it a treasure?  or will you will get out from Crypto? or any ?

I hope to see the crypto market recovers in 2019. But in the event that it doesn't happen, I will hold my tokens tight and keep them while waiting for the year 2020. I know definitely that cryptocurrency will not DIE.

by

on 11/01/2019, 23:01:18 UTC
now the market falls again, do we still have hope to be able to see bull run. no one knows when the market can recover. even with the many good news about the ethereum hardfork unable to make the market jump. so I thought bull run would only be a dream for all of us.
The market prices have nose-dived again. Just when we believe we were marching on to a possible bull run at the beginning of the year, we again saw a sudden decline.

Re: Is ICO regulation good or bad?
by
Sama517
on 11/01/2019, 22:52:58 UTC
More and more countries are planning to regulate ICOs. China, Canada, Russia,... I think this in an development nobody can stop. Do you think it is good or bad that ICOs will be more regulated in the near future? What positive and negative influences will it probably have?

I think there will be more investors like professional managed funds or even retirement funds which will invest into ICOs. The prices for ICOs will then become even more expensive and make it more difficult to make profits for small investors.
Regulations for ICOs is a very perfect thing. I would have love a situation whereby priority is given to this in this year 2019 so that there will be a standard for token sales.

Today is a very sad day for me ... just when I was thinking the crypto space is on its way to its formal glory ... here we are again... the market is red and over 15 percent down...

How do we free crypto from the hands of whales.. manipulating the market??
It is very sad to say the least. It happened just within 4 hours because I was constantly checking my coinmarket  cap app. Let's hope the market gets back to its feet again.

Re: And the dip continues
by
Sama517
on 10/01/2019, 21:20:07 UTC
Lately the crypto currency world in terms of trading is not predictable
Another round of dip is ongoing just before a potential hardfork for etherum

I thought there should be massive demand for etherum
Why is there a decline ?

Probably a reason why everyone has to be smarter in their own capabilities
All this hard forks are doing the cryptocurrency market far more harm and I can't even see any good. The market has been recovering steadily this year, but now, the Constantinople hard fork of Ethereum appears to be responsible for the sudden market declines today. Similar thing to last year's BCH hard forks.

Re: Putin warns of financial crisis the world ‘has not yet seen’
by
Sama517
on 16/12/2018, 11:27:20 UTC
The global economy is facing a threat of a spiraling protectionist measures that can lead to a devastating crisis, Vladimir Putin warned. Nations must find a way to prevent this and establish rules on how the economy should work.
The Russian president spoke out against the growing trend of using unilateral restrictions to achieve economic advantage, as he addressed guests of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) on Friday.

“The system of multilateral cooperation, which took years to build, is no longer allowed to evolve. It is being broken in a very crude way. Breaking the rules is becoming the new rule,” he said. “The ability to impose sanctions arbitrarily and with no control fosters a temptation to use such restrictive tools again and again, right and left, in every case, regardless of political loyalty, talks about solidarity, past agreements and long cooperation,” he said.

https://www.rt.com/business
There is no doubt that Vladimir Putin is lashing out at America with this his speech. But come to think of it, what he said is actually the truth that is happening today. The treat of sanctions here and there may cripple a lot of economic activities globally.

Re: Bitcoin price predictions from Twitter 5 years from now
by
Sama517
on 16/12/2018, 11:23:32 UTC
There's a lot of price predictions on Twitter, some more serious, some less, and some hillarious.

We could put together a list of predictions from people who are somehow important players in the crypto space.

Bobby Lee has a cool point (let's hope;):

If history repeats perfectly, then the current bear market for #Bitcoin would bottom out at $2,500 next month, in Jan 2019.
And then the next rally would start in late 2020, peak out in Dec 2021 at $333,000, and then crash back down to $41,000 in Jan 2023.
Something like that?🙂

https://twitter.com/bobbyclee/status/1071100283638280194

I hope his prediction comes true, but I don't totally agree with the $333,000 price per Bitcoin in 2021, not even in history. I think we are over exaggerating the value. Such might lead to inflation.

Re: Why I am quitting ICO's
by
Sama517
on 16/12/2018, 11:15:40 UTC
I must admit that you have valid points and arguments of wanting to quit ICOs, but on the second thought, running away from the problems or challenges of ICOs won't solve the general problem. The best thing is everyone uniting when it comes to projects, and boycott the irrelevant ones no matter the hypes or profit returns on it.

Re: A Public Market is Turning 'Cashless' in the Philippines
by
Sama517
on 15/12/2018, 23:09:23 UTC
'The new Marulas Public Market in Valenzuela City is the first-of-its-kind ‘DigiPalengke’ initiative in Northern Metro Manila where an entire marketplace is equipped to accept mobile cashless payments.'

https://pia.gov.ph/news/articles/1015376

--

This is quite interesting since even a public market where most of the time common folk buy their everyday needs is accepting digital payments. While this is not entirely related to cryptocurrency, it's as if the people are slowly seeing the convenience and security cashless payments offer to their everyday lives. For years, scan-to-pay stores are just confined within the walls of malls and luxurious places but it seems that we're slowly bringing it to the masses and eventually, it will be the norm to pay only with our smartphones and pre-loaded accounts--and in the future, possibly even cryptocurrencies.
I am not particularly surprised about this news. The entire country of Philippines is already having a mass adoption of cryptocurrency especially bitcoin. So, digital payment is already popular in that country.

I believe just like Tether USDT, this Gemini is also going to be a very stable coin. But since the price will always be $1, it means there is no profit investing in it.

Re: New cryptos in the future?
by
Sama517
on 14/12/2018, 23:56:49 UTC
I was discussing with a friend the other night about bitcoins and how it is becoming popular. We also got to talking about altcoins until the topic went to the future of cryptocurrency. He said there will not be a new cryptocurrency in the future, I said there might be if more and more people gets in it. Do you think we will be introduced to a new cryptocurrency over the next decade or less? In my discussion with my friend, which do you think is more possible?
More cryptocurrencies will continue to spring up. Only this year 2018 alone has seen over additional 1000 coins or tokens added to the market. This is going to be a continuous trend.

I forgot my MyEtherWallet password. I don't see "forgot password" in MyEtherWallet website. Is this means that I can't change my password anymore? Anyone have suggestions about this matter? Kindly share it to me please. Thanks!
I believe you saw these warnings during the creation of your wallet that the system does not keep your password. The only option is to try to locate your private keys.

Re: Not Fair Allocation !
by
Sama517
on 13/12/2018, 19:52:40 UTC
Sometime we found bm not fair about token allocation. All bounty hunter must have felt this and if our protests are certainly not a lot of things we can do. As a bounty hunter we should also be careful. Do you have this experience also ? and what are you doing after that ?
I don't think the bounty hunters have a choice when it comes to the amount of tokens allocated for a campaign. If you are not okay with the allocation, it is best you don't participate at all
