Re: Bitcoin ETF and USA lawmakers
by

members of the USA government different in response to the crypto world, some members choose to make strict rules and some choose to support crypto, the SEC rejects the Bitcoin ETF but does not give a response to US lawmakers who have Bitcoin.

I think it's not objective, if the SEC wants to ban bitcoin ETF, I think the SEC must ban and confiscate bitcoin from every USA resident, including USA lawmakers.

because many from the USA lawmakers that have lots of Bitcoin.
You have made a very good point here. I have always had this believe that even our politicians or lawmakers also have bitcoin and cryptos therefore it will be difficult for bitcoin to completely be banned.

The Ceo of Bitcoin cash recently stated that soon people wouldn't be needing banks anymore.Does it mean the world is going crypto soon or he is just bluffing.
I won't say he is bluffing. What I will only say is that people won't depend much on the banks in future.

Re: Facebook now joining btc?
by

Is this a good time for Facebook to try new kinds of stuff. Facebook owner Mark Zuckerberg has become the world's third richest man in the world and he has achieved all that just because of technology and a right idea, So do you guys think he will now at least think about experimenting to take bitcoin as a payment method in facebook. I think that will surely change a lot of people's mind around the world and they can freely put some money on facebook business.
Facebook previously ban any crypto related advert and posts but later reversed the decision. I think it might join crypto later on.

Re: The Future Of Crypto Market Without Bitcoin?
by
Samaaliu
on 27/08/2018, 15:55:10 UTC
of course, we all see that all markets are red and there are some fears of getting down more and more in the following days. but on the other hand, no one can ignore that bitcoin is the leader of all the crypto market, so if it down the whole market will go down as well, so it is too hard to believe that it will die that easy
and the major investors of it will not allow this to happen.
what do you think, am I right?
The market will be totally red if not even come to an end. Bitcoin is what mainly holds the market together.

I understand the feeling sometimes when you receive some airdrop or bounty tokens. But most times, the value may be so very small and negligible still.

Re: Bitcoin must be regulated!
by
Samaaliu

This is necesarry now because bitcoin involve huge money and the possibilities is that the bitcoin that we may hold may not have any value any more for its equivalency to fiat money are already secured in the owners system pocket. Our trust is slowly degrading for what we had on the current market even the huge investors are already withdrawing their money on bitcoin. And it does not help with small scale investors so there should be a preventive measure to be undertaken but hey where are the team? Common people like me does not even know who owns bitcoin and who are the team composing of bitcoin. If the system needs advancement they should create a remedial for the current market like having another promotion to get more investors. With the attitude of the market price manipulator right now there is no guarantee that bitcoin market price could recover. There is no action being taken and i do not if the team are so selfish with their business on this system they created. Are they only milking the investors? Obviously if this is their ideals then i will not expect bitcoin will last long.
Regulating the Bitcoin is not a must measure to save the market. People should just being scared unnecessarily.

Re: Can any other crypto replace bitcoin?
by
Samaaliu
on 27/08/2018, 15:42:03 UTC
There are many cryptocurrencies out there, the fluctuation is wide and big. There’s a need of a coin that uses a process to stabilize its value.

No doubt that there is no other cryptocurrency or altcoin that can supersede the bitcoin. At least not for the next 5-10 years. Of course there are many rising competitors like Ethereum, ripple and litecoin.

Do you agree???
There is no crypto that can replace Bitcoin as it stands now. Bitcoin is just too strong for other cryptos.

I don't feel too comfortable using the decentralized exchanges. They seem to be more complex with higher transaction fees than the centralized exchanges.

What will happen on BTC if the government will said that all the bitcoin holder have to pay their tax??
Maybe the expansion of BTC community will get low than usual.
I don't see why the government should impose tax on Bitcoin holders. If at all any tax is to be paid, it should be by the local exchanges.

This may never ever be possible as Bitcoin always leads the way for the cryptocurrency market and for other altcoins to follow. It will remain number 1.

It is very sad how the fake airdrops are so rampant everywhere. As for me, I am totally through with airdrops. I have seen it all. I saw a lot of scam airdrops which I managed to escape. Airdrops don't worth the risk. The tokens you are given at times is just useless. Everyone should just pack up and leave it.

Re: Venezuela In Chaos - Massive 95% Devaluation -new Bolivar pegged to state crypto
by

It is actually good to see a country having interest in cryptocurrency. But pegging an entire economy to it I believe is a much too risk which the government is about to take. What if the price of the crypto crashes badly and not in line with the price of oil? What would the government do?

Re: I bought bitcoin at $20k last year

I got into the bitcoin again last year after losing all my 4.5 bitcoins to ponzi schemes early last year. I bought in bitcoin again at $20k. Now bitcoin is $6k+.  I'm regretting my actions.  Huh
Sorry for your loss, but you need not regret your actions. You can hold the coins for now if you can and see if the price can at least go up before you consider selling, or better still, wait till it gets to 20k.

This hackers are really becoming a problem and a pound on everyone's flesh. The exchanges should just try to protect their database and every other thing.
