my own wallet seed
by
Samings
on 31/05/2020, 14:21:06 UTC
Is there any wallet or way to adjust wallet options to generate my wallet seed? Whether it is my own words or a choice of existing words?
I know that this will make it more vulnerable to hack, but I do not want to store many currencies in such wallets.

Re: Micro Proof of Work Layer for a Cryptocurrency (uPoW)
by

Why do you want to confuse the two concepts? Full node is mainly intended to verify that all transactions from the start follow the rules of the Bitcoin blockchain, but the miners' task is to create new blocks that the full node keeps.

If you modify the limited algorithm in the digital currency, it will create a new problem, which is abundance, consequently the price will decrease and make Mining/fulllnode(privacy) running unprofitable.

Re: Where did these Bitcoins end up?
by

It is possible to track, but it is difficult.
It depends on this secret service capabilities.
Not only is it possible but it has already happened, most mixing services can be tracked. read this Breaking Mixing Services
The only exception is Chipmixer, but you need to trust them, and it is probably best not to trust absolutely any service.
The rest of the mixing methods are either expensive or it is easier to know that the mixing was done through them and therefore it is better to avoid them.

Re: Women in the cryptocurrency industry
by

Every so often I run into an article that talks about how few women are involved in this industry compared to men. My suspicion is that there are more women involved than anyone realizes; they're just not putting their gender front and center.

What do you all think?

https://moneyish.com/ish/all-the-reasons-why-women-can-be-the-future-of-cryptocurrency/

Some say 90% of bitcoin users men so female have small part. most of women that use bitcoin is wife's.

women be so worry when price down so i think men is better

Re: Payment in Cryptocurrency!
by
Samings
on 05/01/2018, 16:47:13 UTC
Will there ever be where individuals can pay with any cryptocurrency in a practical life when everyone has wallets with different crypto's in it? Will we require some sort of littler 'buffer' wallet, that enables individuals to purchase things in a split second with a crypto paycard, so the real sum is taken from the address later as the problem is that people do not want to wait half an hour for several block confirmations.? Shouldn't something be said about all these distinctive cryptocurrency; you can't request that a store have 500 unique wallets.
Simply inquisitive if there is an answer for this issue.
Most of Cryptocurrency have bitcoin and ether. all accept bitcoin and ether. some projectsstart support many altcoins.

open source make any one start new coins and every day we find new coins started

Is it too late to invest?
Is there a chance that bitcoin will be down?

Re: Bitcoin is DEAD
by
Samings
on 03/01/2018, 20:06:19 UTC
A couple days ago I posted here because of a transaction stuck in the void for which I paid 30 dollars fee.
Now, one hour ago, I sent a transaction with a 130 dollars fee.
ONE HOUR, STILL ZERO TRANSACTIONS, 130 DOLLARS FEE.
I'm sorry to write this, but Bitcoin is DEAD.
I've been a defender of it up until now, but we've gone too far.
Who the hell is going to buy Bitcoin when the word will spread?
When people will try to get their Bitcoins from the exchanges, they'll meet this reality, and Bitcoin will be dead in DAYS, after the word will begin spreading.
Just please don't go on BCH, let's try to move onto better technologies like Byteball.
BTW can anyone tell me what should I pay to move my Bitcoins now?
I have now 4 Bitcoins stuck in the void.
this problem is just start last month after 12/10 and will solve fast.
fake news that talk bitcoincash is bitcoin only try to destroy bitcoin.

Board Speculation (Altcoins)
Re: Future of altcoins without Bitcoin
by
Samings
on 03/01/2018, 19:08:24 UTC
Hello!

With the recent decrease in value of Bitcoin, the value of almost all the altcoins dropped too.
Now BTC is rising again and so are the altcoins.

I am thinking that if Bitcoin ever crashes, I mean completely drops to a very low value and when doesn't increase anymore.
Then the altcoins are going to drop too and won't have a high value anymore too, which means the cryptocurrency world will die.

Is my statement just nonsense or can it be correct?

I'm curious of what you all think will happen to the altcoins if BTC crashes for real.
altcoins have no chance to play real effect against other currency if bitcoin died.
all altcoins will back less than 1 $

Re: Bitcoin will always have skeletons in the cupboard, but why blame Bitcoin?
by
Samings
on 03/01/2018, 19:05:29 UTC
I see they added the TV Mini-Series, Cybercrimes with Ben Hammersley on Netflix and the first episode is dedicated to the

DarkWeb and Silkroad. Bitcoin is mentioned throughout the episode and scripted as this criminal currency. Watching this, I

figured that Bitcoin will forever carry this label as the Currency for criminals. In one scene the pub owner joked that Bitcoin

should be left alone and that Dollars should be used for crime. Will we ever shrug the criminal history linked to Silkroad and

replace it with all the good that are done with this technology?

Bitcoin is so much more than, Silkroad / MtGox and all the bad things that are done with the technology.  Angry
it is fact bitcoin can be used as criminal currency but Netflix only show bad part with bitcoin.
this is good sign bitcoin start effect in the world
