Multimedia part of Xbox is strong if you are in US, for the rest of the world not so important.

Brazil vs Germany in finals
Argentina is great by individual player but i'm not sure how good team they are. Don't count them out. Uruguay could be strong if they don't mess group stage. Semifinals for them won't be surprise.

Win 7 on desktop and ubuntu server on a home server. Waiting for Win9...
To Op and anyone else: If you really like games, if you are truly a gamer don't choose console, pick PC. This is what gaming is all about - innovation! Only PC can offer you that.
I agree but he wants console PS4 have stronger hardware and better price <- clear winner.
If the card is blowing it's fan for 100% at startup and it's not recognized, is that a driver problem or a presence problem? So if there would be a driver issue, it would be recognized in device manager but with an exclamation mark or something?
Cheers,
I think that's not a driver issue. 100% fan is triggered by card bios so it's alive but not seen by motherboard for some reason. Can you seed all card's with flash tool from dos?

My friend asked me for aftermarket cooling for 290x, any suggestions? Something with good price/efficiency ratio.

Re: Any way to remotely power down and restart a BE Cube that stopped responding?
Beagle Bone Black and Cubieboard are wayyyyyy more powerful and more stable (I'm testing the BBB for months, incredibly stable, and the Cubieboard for like a week only). I don't imaging running my miners on RPi anymore, they are not as stable (I think it's because of the SD Cards... both BBB and Cubieboard have embedded MMC).
SD card is problem with RPi especially if power is not stable. If power goes off SD card gets corrupted almost every time.
I don't like Cubieboard, drivers are not open source and support is not close to RPi. HW is stronger but without good SW it's just not that. How long did you have to wait for Cubie to arrive?
iv had mine running 24/7 mining with 11 block erupter asics since august.
only had trouble recently after upgrading to latest cgminer it locks up at least once every couple of days, always happens during the night so i miss out a few hours of mining!!
can't seem to solve it. I'm sure it has something to do with me upgrading cgminer and not a problem with the PI itself
If you made image of SD card with working configuration it's easy to check if cgminer is problem. I like that on Pi, SD cards are cheap and you can have multiple OS configuration ready for use. My plan with Pi was mining but in process of buying all stuff I gave up, it was pointless at one point.
@Morblias Wow you made some stock there

Some news for custom card from asus and it's not just a custom cooler:
Quote
The DirectCU II card will be equipped with a fully custom PCB design featuring the Digi+ VRM with Super Alloy Power technology and high quality C-Caps and MOSFETs.
Newer Pies works at 1GHz without overvoltage if somebody needs more horse power give it a try. Also add passive heatsink for longer life of Pi if you overclock it.
I also use a RPi as a home entertainment center running raspbmc, and never had a problem with that one either. Just make sure you get good class 10 SD cards.
Did you try openelec? In new version library is working almost smooth. Best remote for me is some mini bluetooth keyboard with touch-pad.
Also, you need to factor in efficiency of the PSU. if it's rated/tested at 90% efficient, then your 71a can only sustain 62.9a under full load.
Um, what? The efficiency relates to the conversion of alternating current to direct current + waste heat. If a power supply is rated for 1200 watts, 87% efficiency @ 100% load (80plus gold), then it will pull in 1379 watts at the wall, and output 1200 watts DC and 179 watts worth of waste heat. The efficiency has -nothing- to do with the rated DC output amperage. If it says 71 amps @ 12v on the label, it will do 71 amps @ 12v.
http://www.cryptosextoys.com/ accepts Sexcoin haha, but also BTC, LTC, FTC, PPC and XPM. It really does depend on merchants, but we really don't need a new coin for every niche or industry possible. These coins are becoming a joke now and it takes away some of the credibility from Bitcoin and cryptocoins in general.
We have Gamecoin, Casinocoin, Betacoin, Pokercoin, Lucky7coin. And not evern talking about animals : Elephant, Tiger , Eagle , ...
And nobody is crazy enough to sell stuff for that joke-coins.
