First assume, that EVERY ICO is made to bring money to the guys behind it. You should have a very good reason to invest in something, other than just the dream of getting rich. Bring up terms like development, support base, technology, uniqueness and usefullness. If you are not satisfied with the answers on only one of these topics, than it is probably not worth it.

Thanks for the comment. But these topics are not easy for newcomers like me to evaluate correctly, are there also some linguistic cues that you think are good indicators of the quality of the project?  e.g. the amount of details provided, or whether it’s easy to read...

There's also the communication aspect, do they communicate with people on a daily or weekly basis? Do they offer constant updates about the project? Do they engage in discussions about the project with the investors? and so on...

And those are just a few aspects about evaluating a project that you're looking to invest in, you shouldn't just look at the whitepaper, otherwise, you will fall for an ICO scam.

Thanks for your suggestion! Are there some specific channels or websites that may help evaluate their communications with investors?

Hi, I am new to this field... I have read several white papers, but I really have no idea how to evaluate whether the whitepaper is good written or not, can you give me some tips on what constitutes a good whitepaper? Is the white paper quality related to the project’s success?

Thanks so much!!
