¿What if I start asking questions this way, would that help you to differentiate between questions and statements of fact?

That would be Spanish...

I don't care, McAfee anti-virus sucks anyways... It goes around disappearing your files without consulting the user first.

Alt coins are a great testing field, where if a nice feature is developed and tested successfully it can later be merged into Bitcoin making it stronger.

I support alt coins.

I don't believe mt.red is what most people would call a very stable pool.  Try mining at ozcoin.

Yeah , but with Cgminer I managed to mine there pretty steadily...

Why would Cgminer work and Phoenix not?

Is anybody using BAMT to mine on Mt.Red pool?

My miners keep switching to the next pool as if it wasn't getting work fast enough from Mt.Red.

Had similar problem while mining for Hashpower, but there I couldn't mine at all with Phoenix (would only work by enabling Cgminer).

Why can't I use my BAMT-Phoenix to mine on these 2 pools?

Is it possible to write a bot that will monitor for losing bets and then try to cancel it by double spending the money to a wallet controlled by himself?

If he controls a large pool he could direct it to give preference to his cancellation transaction to make sure it propagates faster.

Is this possible in practice? How does SDICE defend against it?

i use phoenix cause it gives me best hashrate

./phoenix.py DEVICE=0 -u http://my-user:my-pass@hashpower.com:80/

I'd also prefer Phoenix for the very same reason (I get 2% higher hashrate than with Cgminer)

Anybody knows why Phoenix can't connect? Perhaps it's because their system won't distinguish between Phoenix and a browser's request?

i use correct miner settings, thanks.
maybe it is the "cloudflare" cdn they use as frontend for the site?

I couldn't connect with Phoenix, but with Cgminer had no issue.

Have that issue when you restart your router and Bamt won't reconnect been fixed yet?

I have already applied all fixes but didn't seem to fix it.

if you don't need wireless

apt-get remove network-manager

Will try it, thanks.

Does it support 7970's yet?
Official BAMT does not, however Phillips' modified BAMT can run 7970s out of the box.

See my thread here for download link (item 10 in the little list at the top)

http://www.bitcointrading.com/forum/linux-distros/bamt-version-0-5-easy-usb-based-mining-linux-with-farm-wide-management-tools/

Bitcointrading.com seems down now, any word when it will come back up?

Or an alternative download link?

anyone have an invitation code for wexchange?

New members don't have access to invites (at least I don't), but you can ask on their IRC channel (#weex) over here http://webchat.freenode.net/

Do market orders that low automatically fill at the highest available price? If so, then that would seem a feasible solution.

This assumption have costed me $1,000 when my order got executed at a pretty low amount.

Even if Gox assured it would execute at highest possible price, be careful. And do not assume it from any other exchange, it just depends on how their engine is coded.

It went from $5 to $10 a few weeks ago because someone thought halving production rate would halve bitcoin offer, but does it really? How about all the coins not being used just being hoarded?

How about mining on 443?

Some ISP's are meddling with port 80 requests in order to feed spam ads, I know cause mine is doing it  Sad

It's affecting my mining efficiency as you can see on my GPU usage:
