Hi any updates regarding BTG mining ? I have checked every single pool and settings and nothing seems to work on SMOS

works fine with ewbf-0.3.4b
--server btg.suprnova.cc --user ****.$rigName --pass x --port 8816 --allpools

It’s not working with AMD

Sample

EWBF/NVDIA
--server btcg.miningspeed.com --user mxvc3oiidWytyQ2XoSrzT7GpPjUeC1guNt.$rigName --pass x --port 3092

Optiminer v1.7/AMD
-s btcg.miningspeed.com:3092 -u mxvc3oiidWytyQ2XoSrzT7GpPjUeC1guNt.$rigName -p x
Works for my AMD rig. Just a question. What is the diference between "l/s" and "s/s"?

Can anyone point me in the right direction.  I am mining with RX580's I am currently mining ETH + SIA.  I would like to switch to mining ETH + DCR  Is it possible to dualmine in the same manner?  If so what miner in SM should I use and what should my command line look like?  TIA!!

Good evening, I have a question regarding RX480 cards.

I have a 12gpu rx480 rig with modified BIOS. While "only ETH" mining 1 random GPU from time to time drops hashrate to 0, and the whole rig restarts. It happens ~1 time per hour.
When I switch to dual mode, the same thing happens within first 3 minutes and then very often rig doesn´t restart by itself like it does in eth-only mode, but turns off.
No undervolt/overclock, just default settings.

Did anybody have the same problem? Are rx480 cards just unable to dual-mine? Could it be because of modified BIOS? I´ve also tried to increase/decrease power stage (5-6-7) and core voltage(900-1100), no results. Any info is appreciated, max rig uptime i have ever had was just under 2hrs... Thanks!

Change that card with another and check if it s the riser. In my opinion is the riser

Has anyone successfully undervolted with simplemining?
Running 4 x RX480's and using the DAG version of SMOS.
Nothing I do reduces power.

Also, I'm trying to relate settings such as -100mv on the GPU versus the numbering scheme used by SMOS.
I'm using "simpleminer-RX-v1118-kernel4.11-17.30-noae[Suspicious link removed]g.." and undervolting works.
Anyone running RX OS with Dagfix fine ?

I have the following setup

BIOSTAR TB250-BTC
6 x Sapphire AMD RX580 Pulse Nitro 4GB with tweaked latency FW.

They run stable with the normal RX OS mining ETH currently at 160Mh/S (Undervolt 875mv / Overclocked to 1225Mhz / memory 2150Mhz / Powerstage 7)

But I can't get the machine to even boot with the Dagfix OS.

Anyone who has similar setup can advise please ? Thank you.
Pulse Nitro?

The stratum protocol (part of this) is supported by the miner and the miner pool, not SmOS. The performance differences between Windows and Ubuntu(Linux) are due to OS (e.g. virtual memory) and driver differences. Beyond the OC options in SmOS, you may make other adjustments in Claymore command line e.g. -etha -dcri: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1433925.0

Hello

I'm using 1070's mining ETH and SIA and i get a much lower rate on SIA using SM vs Claymore on Win10. 136 vs 265. Etherium is also lower per card, 25.3 vs 26.5.

Ive overclocked the SM setup and not the Win10 setup too.

Its something to do with the Stratum protocol which isnt supported by SM, can anyone help?
Can you help me with this:
 -epool eu1.nanopool.org:9999 -ewal YOUR_ETH_WALLET/YOUR_WORKER/YOUR_EMAIL -epsw x -dpool stratum+tcp://sia-eu1.nanopool.org:7777 -dwal YOUR_SIA_WALLET/YOUR_WORKER/YOUR_EMAIL -dcoin sia
Eth only I have 166mh, dual with sia it is 100mh with 3220mh. I read 100 pages back but don t know where yo add -ethi or -dcri. Thanks

Hi guys. I have my 6 gpu rig for 3 months now and I have to say that I was lucky not to have any problems, overclocking works, undervolting work, had to replace a riser 2 weeks ago but nothing else so thats Smos for beeing Simple:). I want to try dual mining to see what's what but from my initial speed of 166Mh/s on ether, I now get 100mh/s eth and 3220mh/s siacoin. I ve read 100 pages back and on Claymores Dual Mining thread and I know I should ad a "-ethi" and "-dcri" somewhere.
I am using this:

 -epool eu1.nanopool.org:9999 -ewal YOUR_ETH_WALLET/YOUR_WORKER/YOUR_EMAIL -epsw x -dpool stratum+tcp://sia-eu1.nanopool.org:7777 -dwal YOUR_SIA_WALLET/YOUR_WORKER/YOUR_EMAIL -dcoin sia
I get 100 on eth and 3220 on sia

If I try:

 -epool eu1.nanopool.org:9999 -ewal YOUR_ETH_WALLET/YOUR_WORKER/YOUR_EMAIL -epsw x -dpool stratum+tcp://sia-eu1.nanopool.org:7777 -dwal YOUR_SIA_WALLET/YOUR_WORKER/YOUR_EMAIL -dcoin sia -dcri 2
I get 160 on eth and 160 on sia

Happy for some help:). Thanks

Hello,

I'm trying to setup SMOS on a new rig, Mobo Asus Z270-P + 6x Sapphire RX470 mining edition but SM is not starting. I see a lot of continuous errors

AER: Corrected error received: id=00e3
AER: Corrected error received: id=00e3
AER: Corrected error received: id=00e3

PCIE Bus Error: severity=corrected, type=Physical Layer,

  • error received
  • error received

* Testing with SMOS and SMOS Dag fix, Rig is working fine with WIN10

Can someone pls help me?

I have the same mobo, 4g enable and pcie gen 2 and works fine. I can look tomorow for more setings if you want

Mobo Asus z270-P
4GB RAM
Celeron G4400
5x Sapphire RX580 8GB

Can someone help me to fix it?

Thanks in advance
I have the same mobo and "simpleminer-RX-v1118-kernel4.11-17.30-noae[Suspicious link removed]g.." , and it runs ok with the undervolting

anyone use asrock h110 and 13 of 1070 ? my rig crashed several times

Same here, and is totally random, I first thought it was a raiser thing and changed all and is still happening.
Same for me. I moved the rig on a bigger frame 3 days ago and it crashes like 10 time a day eversince. I'll have new risers in 2 days but I' m not sure they are to blame since I'm not the only one having this issue.Strange

Hi. I set  Core MHz:    1375,1375,1200,1200,1200,1200
            Memory MHz: 2150,2150,1990,1990,1990,1990 ,
but on dashboard I have:
            Core MHz:     1375 1375 1035 1200 1035 1200 (4)
            Memory MHz: 2150 2150 1990 1990 1990 1990
Any ideas why? Thanks Smiley
