Re: Bitcoin for Minecraft?

I believe it was SgtSpike who was running a server where he was paying for certain tasks. This was however funded by mining equipment which is now past it's prime in term of earnings, and his server got popular, so it may not pay much at all now.
Hi! I found his server, its here http://minecraftcc.com/index.php?forum/ if any of you want the links.  It seems to still be active, people are still replying in the forum and everything, but I can't seem to get onto the server. GRRRR.  Not sure why....
However! it is there, it is active, as far as I can tell, and he still does pay out for every block mined.  It has dropped in price, dramatically, but I'm on a lot. XD so hopefully it will give me...something....XD
I hope this helps everyone!

Thanks for the great gift ideas everyone!

Be sure to tell us if it arrives, so that we know that that site isn't a scam!

I will!
But I'm pretty sure its a good site, they've seemed professional so far. Smiley

That was all they said, and I e-mailed them asking, but no answer.

Thanks everyone!!

Well, there are many things, including:

-I <3 Bitcoin Shirts
-I <3 Bitcoin Mugs
-I <3 Bitcoin Stickers
-I <3 Bitcoin wallpapers
-I <3 Bitcoin clothes

Basically, anything related to bitcoin. Well, actual bitcoins would be better though.

So...what I'm getting from everyone is just send money. XD  I wanted it to be a little more special than that.  Its gifts for them to thank them for helping me open our store! XD
...but maybe I should include a bonus of Bitcoin. XD

Sean's Outpost is a good one that has been running for a while:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=295211.0

or try talking to Phinnaeus Gage, he does a lot of Bitcoin Charity work, and runs Bitcoin100 if I'm not mistaken? Or has had some sort of affiliation with it.

Oooh! Awesome.  Thanks for the advice, I'll give them a look.  Cheesy

Picking a donation...

Hey all, I know I'm new here, but I was wondering...
I've seen a lot of alt coins set up with donations going to people.
I'd like to pick some company or group to donate bitcoins too,
but I'm not sure how I should go about picking, or who even
accepts them.
Any tips or advice? Thanks!

Hey there!
Glad to have you here in Bitcoin-land!
I'm new to this forum too, but one piece of advice that I know is to always be very careful with your Bitcoin, before you give it away to anyone check the forums, see what other people are saying, even ask around and see if anyones heard of the person who's offering to sell you something or trade with you.
Good Luck!!

I'm not exactly new to Bitcoin, but I am new to this forum.
And I have been trying to dive deeper into the Bitcoin world, so I find myself here with some questions for you kind people, if you don't mind. Smiley
I just got two Antminers, one is working properly, but the other won't connect to wifi, and it shows zero signal strength after connecting initially.  Has anyone seen this issue before?
Thanks!  Grin
