Weekly Development Update [16.11.2018]
This week's update is a bit shorter but contains significant changes that will allow us to get back on track!
As you already know, the development has slowed down due to financial problems, which resulted in the fact that outsourced developers left us. Therefore, we directed all our efforts to solve this problem, and we have something to please you with!
At the beginning of the next week, we will release a mandatory wallet update!
The mandatory wallet update will include:
1. Small protocol change for smooth adaptation of the current code to changes that will occur in December when the platform is launched. This is necessary for a smooth transition to the new platform code. Without intermediate updates, there is a possibility of the blockchain stoppage.
2. Debug updates in the code. These updates will not affect the operation of the blockchain and user wallets, but they will allow us to collect debugging information about the network operation with the updated protocol.
3. Additional pre-mine of 500 000 coins to cover the development of the project. This will allow us to solve the problem of financing at the current stage. We will be able to a) return our developers to work and b) continue marketing c) create a supporting fund that can be used to cover large expenses.

The info about the pre-mine was announced. The pre-mine is spent on the project development. SmartFOX is now being developed behind the scene, but that's also true that the team now experiences financial difficulties, and outsourced developers temporarily left the project.

We are often accused of spending the pre-mine. We want to clarify the situation:
1. The pre-mine was used to support the development of the project, including advertising, listings, bounties, promotions, as well as community managers and developers salary (both core team members and outsourced members). We dont see anything suspicious or abnormal, considering we spent a lot of our own money at the start to give the project a boost. That was our main contribution to the project. Further, our staff required payment, because even the coolest programmers want to eat every day.
2. At the moment, the pre-mine is spent. Is that good? No, but thats a fact. Unfortunately, this situation was largely aggravated by masternode owners who sold their coins at any price. We have fixed costs that are necessary to maintain the project (see item 1). Accordingly, the lower the price of the coin, the more coins we have to spend.
3. At the moment we are in crisis. All third-party professionals temporarily left us, because we are not able to pay them. We are now having only core members that stood at the origins and will continue to develop SmartFox. We are not abandoning the project we continue to develop it, but more slowly.
4. Now we are looking for additional funding options. We assume that we will be able to announce them at the end of the week (possibly at the beginning of the next week).
5. To all haters: we will not allow you to continue dragging the SmartFox name through the mud! If you dont believe in the project, then leave. We will not bow down at the feet of every masternode holder if he/she doesnt like something and want us to report him personally every hour. We do not hold anyone. At the moment, we have a sufficiently developed network that will ensure the further smooth development of the project.

Indeed they are scammers.If your bored verify yourself by looking at rich list and the amount that left the largest wallet.
They announced selling some but after they had already dumped. With such a small market cap and low volume it would be stupid to dump that amount as it's crashing your own coin. Not even smart scammers that sell in chunks.. No github commits, nonsense in their discord for dev updates. Me thinks they did a github clone and changed graphics around..

COMPLETE SCAM COIN - SMARTFOX ARE NOT DEVELOPING ANYTHING - THEY OFFERED A PROFIT PACKAGE BUT THAT WAS ONLY TO KEEP PEOPLE IN PLACE SO THEY COULD DUMP THEIR PREMINE - STAY AWAY - YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.....
The profit packages were designed to stabilize the price, which they actually did. However, the price is still very affordable.
