Does anyone know why my Cortex hashrate differs so much? Tried out a few diff pools.

Gminer reports 6.5G/s but pool reports 0.125H/s. Does G stand for something I've never noticed before?
Perhaps your problem arises due to ping, it is too big))) But seriously, there is a problem with this algorithm. I hope the developers fix it.

You need more detailed instructions on creating your token. At first I got stuck on the very first command:
Code:
./grimm-wallet --asset_command 1 --asset_kid 'btc' send -r '3981196d3ce55a40f98d958d3f1847fb6562444ebf2038f8145862a3e9441c00abc' -a '10000000000'
The console returned an error: the argument ('btc') for option '--asset_kid' is invalid
Then instead of “btc” I wrote “123” and a token was created. But when I request information about him, I do not receive either his "name" or his "emission".
Code:
I 2019-11-27.11:05:07.331 Rules signature: 0-a296984f83c062475d11c2c6486bd11d36fba60a223f1995e706cb5d8ff2f665

What am I doing wrong? With what parameter do you want to launch a wallet when creating a token to give it a name?

In pre-release tokens work on assetchains (you can create assetchain and use tokens on it). To enable tokens on main Grimm network we need hardfork. It will be after next release (mandatory update). P.s. kid its your random key that help generate assetid (the ability to attach a token ticker will be with the next release)
Is Grimm a Token? Not a coin? Maybe I didn’t understand something, I’ll go to study the site.

Re: GMiner v1.79

GMiner v1.79 available for download

Do -t for all cards in the rig please! Just "-t 75" for all cards.

Tired of making many almost identical bat-files with the same space separated numbers for each rig
-t 75 75 75 75 75 75 75 75 75 75 75 75 75 for 13-card rig
-t 75 75 75 75 75 75 for 6-card rig
-t 75 75 75 75 75 75 75 75 for 8-card rig
-t 75 75 75 75 75 75 75 75 75 75 75 for 11-card rig
(tired of reading? Smiley) Imagine how we are tired of writing)

instead of just one universal bat-file with "-t 75" which sets temperature limits for all cards in the rig.

I wonder how you haven't done it for more than a year your miner exists Smiley) Unbelievable. This is the oldest flaw GMiner has unresolved yet.

Second that. And there's a nifty workaround: you could use '-t 75 75 75 75 75 75 75 75 75 75 75 75 75' for any rig. Gminer always uses the right amount.
You all say correctly, but it’s much more convenient and logical to use one parameter "-t 75" for all video cards in rigs.

What kind of updates are you talking about? The miner's development team regularly releases updates.

Minus% 12 for today, until 2020 the course will again be 50-60 sotoshi))) The paid opinions and advertising did not help you)
It all depends on the market and on the price of bitcoin in particular. These fluctuations affect absolutely all altcoins. Better to rejoice at the new exchange and relax.

No Accepted Shares at v1.78 at EagleSong (ETH+CKB)!!! At 1.77 works fine.
Friend, try installing the latest version of Gmeiner 1.79 there it definitely works. They fixed the error.

Why aren't developers working to improve the performance of the Beamhash algorithm? For a very long time there were no updates for beam, basically everything is done for grin. Or is it all due to the fact that the algorithm for beam will change?

Please watch out and i just wanted to let you know there was today a Coin ANN with a Miner download link for the this Miner !

But it was not the real github link , it was an Fake Github link nearly exactly the same written as the Original ( Possible Malware or Trojan ).

Thats the Fake Github link ( Unclickable ) if you want to report it on Github!

https_://github.com/develisoftware/GMinerRelease/releases/download/1.76/gminer_1_76_windows64.zip

Also i have written about that here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5182222.msg53130356#msg53130356

The Thread with that Fake Gihub link is already deleted.

Regards Lafu
Thanks for the info, this is very dangerous. Once I inadvertently downloaded a similar miner and the attackers gained access to my computer. Be careful and careful when downloading and running unknown applications.

Standing on the shoulders of GRIN and BEAM, GRIMM will become a new starting point for MimbleWimble.  Encyclopedia of the Coin Research Institute in China published article about Grimm on Chainnews.com https://www.chainnews.com/zh-hant/articles/646390126921.htm
Interestingly, this is a custom-made advertising article or this resource itself decided to write an article about Grimm coin. This site has a large number of visits, in any case it's cool.

GMiner v1.75 available for download

v1.75
+ reduced memory usage for Cuckatoo31 8GB solver
+ added Ethash+Eaglesong dual mining for Nvidia GPUs (DevFee is 3% on Ethash, Eaglesong without fee)

Telegram beta test group: https://t.me/gminer_beta

Download links:
GitHub: https://github.com/develsoftware/GMinerRelease/releases/tag/1.75

With Gminer mining Grin 31 I have from 10 to 15% rejected on f2pool. Bminer gives 0-0,1% rejected. Are you going to come up with it?
Is the ping displayed in the miners the same or different? The fact is that in different miners I have different pings to the same server.

Same issue here. 10% reject on pool, but doesnt show as rejected on miner. G31 on f2pool

Perhaps this is the problem of the f2pool pool itself, there is no such problem on other pools, even where the ping exceeds 200 ms. Maybe the developer will respond.

I can honestly say that there is not another project worthy of this support including the various bitcoin sidechains.
Yes, I completely agree that this donation was sent to the Green project team. They deserve it. But it would be nice if such a donate was sent to another project, they are also great.

It's pretty strange - I have 120000Mb virtual memory and 2 gtx 1070 ti have red error "out of memory". What is it?
Your memory should be enough for the miner to work properly. Maybe this is just a miner mistake that the developers will fix soon. I used to have a problem with lack of RAM on windows 10, I installed windows 7 and it worked.

Today the Dev fund received 50BTC from an unspent mined block in december 2010 !

How amazing is it to see that a whale, early adopter of BTC is that fond of GRIN.

TX ID :
Quote

I did some research and back in December 2010 there was only 2400 members registered on the forum.

But realistically between registering and mining a full block I believe the learn curve (at that time) would be 2 months.

So members registered before October.... Which mean when the forum only had 1700 or less members.

And if it the same donator than the previous 50 BTC  ( https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/18FufdutXggR2EgBuu6xRvL15kmpaPzfTQ)

It means that a serious whale (why would someone give more than 10% of his total holding) with maybe north of 1000 btc is supporting Grin.

This is a very cool and unusual event. It will help the team not only financially, but will attract more attention to the coin.
