I have a wallet version v1.7.2.0 and it does not sync!
WTF  Huh Huh Huh

VRC sync up for you?  Been trading this since Cryptsy and Mintpal days.  My tip, open "help-Console" > "Information" tab, when you see "current number of blocks" stall on a certain number close the wallet.  Wait till the VRC icon is off your taskbar, then reopen wallet and repeat.  It'll go alot faster than just leaving open to sync.  If I wait a few months to stake, I have to do this a few times to sync up quickly.  The VRM wallet I have yet to see this sync then stall issue and lately it can go a year or so before I open its wallet to sync up.

FYI:
appears yobit withdrawal is open.  They are synced to "Wallet status: Online (3555461 blocks)" while wallet and block explorer both show 4071841 Mon May 27 22:00:26 2019.  The address supplied by yobit doesn't show in block explorer, so I am assuming they are on a different XJO chain than the main/current chain.

EDIT:
Sent a test Amount and address shows in BE, not expecting it to arrive anytime soon since its 500k blocks behind, but will update in future if it does.

Thanks for this. Would much appreciate an update -- the Wallet in Maintenance scam has been going on for at least years.

A worrying drop in price -- 'crash' is a more honest word -- on exchange.thecoin and Nova: https://novaexchange.com/market/BTC_XJO/

Akaro!! Nice to see you here.

IndiaMikeZulu

Update finally. Just looked today and noticed it did arrive to Yobit a few days ago on 2019-06-20 (sent 2019-05-27).  Have checked their wallet several times in the last month and never saw it out of maintenance mode.

guys. where to download the wallet?
and which coin is now valid? HTML or HTML5
which miner to use?
where is it traded?

HTML is a new coin.
where to get it?

A few people have been asking here for over a month on where to obtain the old 1.3.2.1 wallet.  Only one user has responded they have a mac version they can send in pm.
Devs are simply ignoring the users here in regards to the broken link they have supplied.  This is another failed swap attempt.

Re: [ANN][PAK] PakCoin - Pakistan's Crypto Currency - Official Thread

Hi there,

I was mining on your official pool the other day, I was the only miner connected.

I found a block but only received 9.378031 PAK for it?

WTF? The block reward is supposed to be 50 (minus the pool fees).

Can you explain why your own pool is taking 80% of the mining rewards?

Pools do not work like solomining from your wallet.  Pools work by users shares, for what i see here http://pool.pakcoin.org/index.php?page=statistics&action=round&height=338347 you had 378,046 shares submitted and user Romus1 had 1,597,440 shares submitted.  Which means Romus1 submitted his/her 1.5m shares before leaving the pool, you then started and submitted your 378k shares and found the block.  Due to the share count Romus1 got the 80% credit for the block being found.  If you stayed on the pool and found another block, and you were the only contributor of shares you would have gotten the whole block reward minus the pool fee.

I personally have no affiliation with this pool, but thats how pools work.  Keep an eye on the shares submitted.

DRWATSON84, i do a few of my trades of PAK over at cryptopia and noticed a few days ago the wallet is in maintenance mode.  I looked over at the coininfo tab of cryptopia https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/CoinInfo/?coin=PAK and if you click on the "i" next to maintenance, this message pops up - "Investigating why withdrawals and deposits are not confirming".  Don't know if the issue is something on their end, but this maybe why there is a slump in price of late.

Figured i'd point this out in case it wasn't known.  I like this coin, keep up the good work DR.

Yes, remittance is also in pipeline
I just want to know about the fees of sending money from USA and other countries to Pakistan. If you can update for USA remittance fees, I will be greatful to you.

https://remittanceprices.worldbank.org/en/corridor/United-States/Pakistan
This shows the fees if someone is sending $200USD or $500USD from USA to PAK, according to worldbank. (by cash, credit card or bank account and the percentages it will cost)
Wouldn't doubt it if the fees are higher/lower in different states and from different financial institutions across USA.  Safe to use these values as ballpark figures.  Hope this helps you on the remittance fees.

Wouldn't it be relatively simple to change a couple of lines of code, allow PoW to continue, and we can all update to the new version?

Im just a simple miner but that does seems like a solution. Seen a few coins get community takeovers that resulted in many aspects, including mining algo changes.

Probably be simpler if dev came out from under his rock to switch POS on then slither back under his rock  Grin

POW phase ended on this coin 10/23/15 (it hit block 525,700).  POS phase has yet to start.  Since POW is done and POS isn't on, the chain cant move.

Noticed the dev last post was 3/7/15, so its safe to assume this coin is abandoned/dead.

Found three working nodes for those that want to sync up to block 525,700, but for now it seems pointless to do that.
addnode=108.61.10.90:24772
addnode=98.175.59.71:24772

Saw this thread and figured i'd try the pool out...been here for 48 hours and now on the 4th downtime (both pool and server are down).. hoping its not a pattern (down twice a day).
