Re: [ENU] Enumivo: Blockchain + Universal Basic Income

This is growing a lot faster than anticipated especially with EOS on it's way back to 20 USD. Hope to see some bigger exchanges soon + coinmarketcap to really get things going.

Yes specially after whitepaper release. CMC needs at least 50k volume or 2 BTC to be listed. Since we didn't have any fund-raising we can not afford paying. But, we will be there for sure, sooner or later.

Btw, we already have more than 50k volume on kkex, but kkex isn't on coinmarketcap so that's bit of problem.

I'm sure it will be on cmc sooner or later, and kkex should be able to get their markets added to cmc as well.
But I'm ok with accumulating a little more before we get too close to August and things really boom.  Cool
Price is still very low , very good opportunity to buy some more. I think we will see the real hype leading up to the mainnet launch , if eos can be $20 enumivo can easily reach $2.

Re: How do you keep yourself from spending on unimportant things?

imo it is a fine line between enjoying your money and spending more then you can afford. first of all you should ask yourself the question if you really need what you want to buy. after that even if you think you want it still wait at least 2 weeks , if you still want it buy it but a lot of the time you are probably already over that thing.

i would say that too about the biggest competitor of my product , this is just like banks speaking against bitcoin. this guy has a lot to lose when/if crypto gains some traction , so he has all the reason to speak against crypto. i know that a lot of people are becoming sick of paypal and their practices.

Re: Crypto world vs Fulltime job? to establish better life.
by

you simply don't give up a full time job to start trading in crypto that you know nothing about. a job will give you security that crypto can't , the skills are also applicable in the future of your life. crypto is very volatile and risky and there is no way of knowing what is gonna happen to this space in 5 years. personally i do both and will continue to do that , unless i make enough money of course.

Re: Some Gurus still think Bitcoin can go 5500 level!
by

And some other ''guru'' will tell you the opposite , so in the end it is still 50/50. like i always say when someone asks a question like this , do your own research and make your own decision that way you can only blame yourself.

personally i wouldn't do it , because i couldn't stomach doing that to someone. but if someone does it i can understand it a little bit , because it is also on the person buying to do some decent research. so in my opinion if you can live with yourself go ahead , no judgement.

Re: Do you ever think
by
Scallywag

There's actually already one, and it's called crypto20 I believe. It's pretty much just like a stock market index, it's a crypto index that invests in the top 20 coins in terms of market capitalization.

I don't think that this will ever become a popular idea, but it's happening out there already.

The reason is that you have absolutely no control of what you're investing in. If you are investing in coins traditionally by buying it and holding in an address that you have access to, there is 0 risk apart from the obviously volatile exchange rates. But trusting an investment fund to do something that you can do yourself already? Doesn't sound that good of an idea. They could easily deny access to your investment in the fund, if they really wanted to.

Plus, the lack of customization is a huge downside. There is no way that someone can pick and choose the coins they want investing in, but instead they're stuck with a limited range of coins in the fund that can't be filtered.
'
i think it is mostly focused on older people , that don't have the knowledge to buy and sell on regular exchanges but still want to be invested in this space. this probably will be solved when the user interfaces mature and crypto becomes easier to use. because with all the stories around about hacking and losing funds i think a lot of people would rely on such a thing.

that is not really true , that is just the case for the average person ( including me) .  there are some guys who make a living day-trading in the stock market , the same skills are applicable here. it just takes a very smart and skilled person to do it , it isn't as easy as simply buying red and selling green.

it all depends on the reason why the coin is down , if the whole market is down there is not much you can do. if it is for another reason , and i think it will go down more i just sell. sometimes you just have to take your losses.

no i spread my investments over multiple coins , it is just stupid to go all in on one coin. it may work out a couple of times but there will be a time where you get bitten in the ass by it. even a good project can fail by factors they have no influence over , and if you do your research right you can make just as much as when you would've gone all in.

Re: My new trading strategy, what's yours?
by
Scallywag
on 23/04/2018, 01:24:13 UTC
Yes that right, for newbie in day trading really hard to make consistent profit, so by make investment in ICO actually give more opportunity to get more profit because many price of token since ICO increasing alot even up to 30 times just in a few month.
you also take on a lot more risk when you invest that way , a lot of coins are already proven in a way that they at least won't scam you. most ico's aren't around for that long , so you have no idea if they will deliver what they promise. because if 30x is so easy if you say why do people still invest in normal coins.

Re: Will the bitcoin be outdated by another currency?
by
Scallywag
on 22/04/2018, 02:55:18 UTC
My answer to the principle is: NO

Bitcoin is money, the value of money is built on confidence, tradition and security, attributes that Bitcoin offers easily. The analogy between Bitcoin and social networks is completely incorrect, people think that Bitcoin is an myspace that will be replaced by facebook. It turns out that Bitcoin is money and not a social network, so this comparison is completely wrong.

Most of mankind's wealth resides in vaults for hundreds of years, so the circulating medium is derisory close to it. Why are we going to need fast, no-fee coins if we can use paper money and banks? Bitcoin's purpose is to be a safe asset, scarce and superior to gold. What is behind Bitcoin is the fact that no politician can steal you through taxes or inflation, there is nothing safer than Blockchain and Bitcoin. So far no technologically superior currency has emerged to Bitcoin to the point of provoking an abyss between technologies and will hardly emerge.

BUY BITCOIN TODAY AND ALWAYS.
no I do not think so. I think bitcoin is outdated for other altcoins. There are many other altcoin companies that are using the blockchain platform to implement their business strategy. But there are some altcoin that have implemented such functions as transaction speed, the charge is better than bitcoin. Typical examples are ETH and CS. Their technology is incredible and bitcoin is only considered classic. But anyway, the value of bitcoin is still better than the other altcoins.
i agree that there are a lot of coins that are technologically superior to bitcoin in almost every way. the only thing bitcoin has going from them is that they have the first mover advantage. especially if you want bitcoin to be a currency , most people don't care that bitcoin was the first one. they will just use whatever is forced upon them because they don't know any better.

Re: How to get Forex traders to trade in Bitcoin ?
by
Scallywag
on 22/04/2018, 02:50:57 UTC
I've said this time and time again, we shouldn't try to get more people to invest in bitcoin. Because these forex traders are like any other trader, they don't care about the underlying tech -- they're going to make this a volatile currency which is going to lead to less and less adoption. We need volatility to go down if we want bitcoin to be a major world currency, NOT UP.

Forex traders should stick where they are, it's fine like this.
If you are looking at bitcoin to become a major world currency you should be open to everyone. Tongue What do you expect actually, a bitcoin market without any volatility, are you trading bitcoin because of the underlying technology and you would not care about the investment you made Roll Eyes.
If someone has any trading experience it is easy to shit to this market, just check out the different exchanges and select the best that suites you, get a light weight wallet and start trading.
but what do you expect from bitcoin, that it will be just a trading instrument for people to make money. the volatility of bitcoin probably won't change in the near future that is true, but to add more people which would create more volatility because they are only here to use bitcoin as a cash cow doesn't sound like a good plan either.

at least you made some profit , that is a good start. but it is very easy to get overconfident after you make a couple of good trades. there is always more to learn, i would advice to trade with small parts of your bitcoin and not everything at once.

Re: Trader or Gamblers.
by
Scallywag
on 22/04/2018, 02:39:14 UTC
As human nature, we all want to make a bunches and make it fast; too much temptation that incites us to gamble with our account.
very practical

You are absolutely right. I agree with you. Trading is also like gambling. You can make some money and can lose your investment. But trading is far better than gambling because gambler always loses due to greed for winning more and more money while trader will not lose his money if he keenly observe the market. I want to become trader instead of gambler.
Actually both can provide great benefits, the difference is trading will give you a big profit if you have market knowledge and skillful analytical. while in gambling you don't need anything like skill or intelligence. but people prefer trading because the risk is smaller because it does not depend only on luck
well, both can indeed get a big profit. but, I do not want to risk gambling. well, i know that playing gambling is very difficult, and bigger hoping on luck. for now, I only do trading, and I think that's good enough for me.
i think trading in alts is closer to gambling then it is to investing. there are a lot of factors you have no influence in, and this market is still young and unproven. then people get emotional after losing some money and make decisions based on that are basically gambling.

Re: Ethereum vs Bitcoin as goal of investments
by
Scallywag
on 21/04/2018, 01:49:14 UTC
i am not sure , but i think ethereum is the way to go if you are looking for long-term investment. because i think that they have a lot more room to grow in comparison to bitcoin, maybe bitcoin will add the lightning network but i don't see that changing that much. while i think eth has the future with smartcontracts and the endless possibilities it gives.
