There are a lot of tokens, many of them worth 0. The question is, why and which tokens will gain value in the longterm?

I'd love to buy a lot of coins, but many beautiful project doesn't need their tokens to release their products... I see a lot of tokens that have not use cases.. why should they go up?

The xlm price  really increased in Q4 2017 , along with other altcoins. Moreover, Stellar managed to hold a decent amount of its valuation when the bear market commenced.


Even though, Stellar price decreased  in January 2018, when you compare it to April of 2017, the coin has grown 2,900% in one year! Which is pretty amazing!

The highest point in December was $.31 cents. Then in January 2019, Stellar raised to a new peak  growing to its all-time high of $.93 cents.

Although,  it’s possible that Stellar could lose more value against Bitcoin, it is unlikely to crash severely against fiat currencies like the USD.

I have observed that there are lot as lot of selfdrop tokens nowadays. Others are requiring little fees, pay for the gas, while there's also some that you can directly add to your wallet. I mean can these tokens possibly make you rich?  because some are given millions of millions of tokens and if its price goes at least $1 then congratulate yourself (if you have joined this campaign) for being an instant millionaire. But my question is why are these "ALMOST FREE TOKENS" arising all of a sudden? What could the developer benefit if they give their tokens in exchange of a little gas you pay?
