Re: Friends reactions to crypto currencies?
by

on 23/09/2018, 23:33:31 UTC
I was questioned on crypto currencies legalization. I explained the facts happening around. Few received it with convincing reactions and few just ignored it. I really felt bad for the guys who did not care about crypto currencies as I really know the fruitfulness? I happily taught few others about crypto currencies. What was your friends expression when you introduced bitcoin to them?
I have friends that I have introduced bitcoin to. Some were kinda surprised on how much I earn and some do not believe. They know I earn but for them it is not reliable, maybe they have a point. Not everyday is christmas in bitcoin. Some wanted to start doing what I am doing when I introduced bitcoin to them.

Re: What will you do with the current market?
by

on 22/09/2018, 23:58:34 UTC

Looking at the current market, many people are disappointed in the market price, bitcoin prices stomping at the $ 7000 level, altcoin prices are falling deeply. Recent good news, however, shows that the market continues to grow and has great potential in the future. What would you do this time: Buy bitcoin, buy altcoin or do nothing?
When the market is down, you should capitalize to this. This should not be a hindrance for you to make profit. When the market is down, you should not do panic selling because if you did that, you just accepted your loss. When the market is down, it is good to have some bitcoins with you and sell when it price pumped.

Re: Why spend time in bitcoins?
by

on 21/09/2018, 23:56:18 UTC
We all experience being financially challenged and we cannot deny that money makes us revolve around it. When we find ways to alleviate our financial suffering, we stand our ground and spend so much effort just to see the result and of course, benefit from it. Do you think that spending time and effort to gain bitcoins is a rational idea? Do you think that you could've been wasting your time? Let me know about your thoughts.
I give time for my bitcoin works because I want to have money. That is my main purpose what I am doing this. I do not actually expect that I am going to be rich through this but I just want not to become poor.  I want to have extra money for my daily expenses and savings for the future.

Re: The good and bad of bitcoin
by

on 21/09/2018, 23:54:23 UTC
Everybody has a remark about bitcoin whether it's great or terrible, and for me for the most part is great you can send cash whenever you need without the agent (banks)

also, low expenses or free and last is the speculation, the main terrible thing about that I can state is the point at which somebody hacked your record and you can never again get it back.

however, it will assist you with being more dependable about your record.

What is the great and the awful thing you can say in regards to bitcoin??
Personally,  I think both of the good and the bad of bitcoin lies at the same point, its volatility. Bitcoin is so volatile and that makes it change its price frequently and sometimes the difference is very noticeable. Sometimes it can be great and sometimes it can be very bad depending on the situation.

Re: Why government announce bitcoin is illegal?

We know Bitcoin is one of the powerful and top coin in marketplace.
But world wide all county are announced its illegal.
I personally think that bitcoin is very help us for paying any payment.
Its has many facility.
But our government are announced its illegal
Here in our country, bitcoin is not yet widely accepted but I believe bitcoin will be always welcome in our country. It is not widely used but it is not illegal in our country. I think why other government bans bitcoin is because they are afraid of what people can do with bitcoin, it can be used in illegal activities while staying anonymous.

Is it practical to expect tenfold  jump in Bitcoin this year ? It has happened in past but is it practical to expect it this year also ?
I cannot see any possibility that this will happen within this year. It is better to expect the worst case rather than expect something impossible. If that will happen, I am sure that this will not last within a month. Maybe after a week the price will fall off and holders will panic sell and that will end up to further decrease in bitcoin's price.

Re: Sell car for Bitcoin
by
Scavagers
on 18/09/2018, 13:35:30 UTC
My friend decided to sell his car and invest all the money in Bitcoin as some people predict that 1 BTC will reach 500 000$ till the end of 2019.
He totally believes in it and tells that then he could buy not only a new car but a flat also.

Does it really worth it? He uses his car for his work and now he wouldn't be able to do this anymore as he thinks there's no need to work anymore.
I would not sell my properties for something that is not reliable. You might get bankrupt if the market falls and you end up being cashless and car less. It is good to take risk but we should be able to estimate if you can take that risk to gain.

Re: If you were to spread the word of Bitcoin..

Curiosity surrounds the world of Bitcoin, that's for sure. But if you were to be asked to introduce Bitcoin to someone who knows nothing about it, how would you do it? What approach will you take?

EDIT:

In addition to the question, how did you learn about Bitcoin? Do you think your first steps into the crypto world is something you want other's to experience? Or would you rather have them take another path that might shed more light on Bitcoin better
I am just going to explain it as simple as I can. I will just tell them the basic principles and let the curiosity run on them. Once they got curious, they tend to ask more and more questions and I will just answer them and share some knowledge. I just learned bitcoin from a friend, we both are new to it so we both struggle at first.

Re: Becoming wealthy and social responsibility
by
Scavagers
on 15/09/2018, 16:29:22 UTC
While I don't have many posts. I got involved in Bitcoin in 2013 and joined this forum in 2014. While I do not consider myself wealthy from Bitcoin yet. I do have an idea of how I would like to direct some of this new found wealth. I think most of the people who got involved early got involved for the right reasons. IE: To change the world and move humanity out of the control of the bankers. I am concerned that the new people coming may only be in to make money. I hope I am wrong, I really want this technology to be a force of good in the world and deliver economic freedom to the masses and the unbanked. My hope is everyone who was early, has some idea in mind that will help others. Maybe help your family, or a charity that you think isn't wasting money, or building a community swimming pool etc. If you have a lot of money think big and how you can change the world for the better. This is our chance!
It is not always a responsibility to help others ,I do not want to look at it as a responsibility because it kinda feels heavy to me when I carry a responsibility. I look at it as a voluntary act or something like charity, in that way I can feel happier while helping others. If I have the capability to help others, I would not just give them money, I would give them opportunity to make money so that they can live on their own.

Re: Can We Finally Call This the DEATH of Bitcoin?!?
by

on 15/09/2018, 16:21:48 UTC
The scammers and crooks finally won! Congratulations because even your fiat will be near worthless at some point too! The economic freedom of the people is once again destroyed by the animalia raised by bad handlers.

To the "Lending" companies (hey man, do you think I can get my money back soon), I salute you.

To Bitmain and "the plan", I salute you.

To Wall Street who always knows my future, I salute you.

To the newbie crypto-millionaires, who only like the part about making easy money, I salute you.

To the lower middle-class who borrowed all the equity in their homes to buy crypto and told everyone about it, I salute you.

To the SEC who will wait until every crypto is worthless to go after anyone, I salute you.

To the old school crypto nerds, who cashed out in 2017 when they saw what was coming, great job!

I still remember the days when getting anything over a 1% yield on a bank account was something to brag about.

One day I will tell my grand kids about the time in 2017 when everyone except politicians were happy and it was a joy to work at any job because you had real money that actually could make you more real money. Time to find the next bubble...
Not yet and I believe bitcoin will not die yet. I still believe in the power of bitcoin. By looking at the graph,we can see that it is not always going for the downward trend, sometimes we can see green in our charts and it kinda feels satisfying even in a short period of time. I still believe bitcoin can comeback from its loss.

I got into the bitcoin again last year after losing all my 4.5 bitcoins to ponzi schemes early last year. I bought in bitcoin again at $20k. Now bitcoin is $6k+.  I'm regretting my actions.  Huh
I feel bad for you, maybe that will be the worst decision you will ever made in your entire life. We have this saying all over the cryptocurrency world that you should "Buy low and sell high". You probably did the exact opposite.  What you can do is to just hodl and wait, do not sell it yet. Be patient and believe in bitcoin.

Re: Your Wallet Keys and Passwords should be known to you and you alone. Yes! But...
by
Scavagers
on 11/09/2018, 02:19:52 UTC
Yes! You need to protect your wallets against any possible theft or hacking. You must protect your private keys and wallet passwords. This is a must for everyone, else your coins will be stolen.

The frequent warnings of ensuring you protect your private keys from anyone seems to have eaten too deep into almost everyone of us in cryptocurrency. Some of us have forgotten certain realities of life and cryptocurrency wallets which I want to warn you about. My warning is mainly targeted at anyone who has a family, or at least, a child. You must leave a means or trace that your family will be able to access your wallets when you are gone. I mean when you are below 6ft. Each one of us will die some day. No one wants to hear this, but it is the absolute truth. If you suddenly die today with your secret keys and passwords unknown to your family, your coins are lost forever. Your crypto wallet is not a regular bank, so no way your family can claim your many crypto wealth online.
Don't be selfish. Your family or wife or children must not suffer when you have so much Bitcoin or other coins trapped in an inaccessible online wallets.

Remember your family and loved ones.

You have a very strong and uneasy decision to make today.

I share my private key to my mother. We both do cryptocurrency works and we both have our own wallets. I trust her because I am assured that she will not get money from me because she has a lot more money than me. I suggest that if you would share your private key to someone, make sure that you trust each other and I suggest that both of you must have your own wallets so that he/she can manage your wallet even if you are gone.

Re: How can we make this world economically better?
by

on 10/09/2018, 18:28:55 UTC
The society is divided into haves and haves not, poor people are getting more poorer and rich people are getting more richer, Value of money is decreasing and inflation is increasing, Many people around the globe suffer death mostly Africa and asia because hunger and unable to fulfill basic human needs.
What actions should governments need to take and how individuals can contribute?
mostly, it is up on the government if they do have plans on making the country's economy better. As an individual, we should start it by ourselves. We can help by using as less resources as we can. I admire fast food chains who do not use water in their restrooms, I just dont know how it does not stink lol. We should start being economical within our own homes.Less consumption of electricity and water. One good way is to start a business, it can have great impact if many people would start business.

hello member of the bitcoin forum, Smiley
I'm confused and looking for answers about how to help people who are having economic problems,

are there any of us in this forum who have a good heart to help the economy of fellow human beings,

can opening new jobs reduce unemployment and improve the economy?
If you have the capability to open jobs for them, then why not? It could help many people and probably save them from poverty. I hope many people will be like you, I just do not have enough knowledge on what can I do but I also want to help others in any way. The only thing I think I did to help was introducing my friends to cryptocurrency and guide them, now we are all earning a fairly good amount.

Re: Downsides to crypto
by

on 08/09/2018, 14:16:56 UTC
If and when cryptocurrency and/or bitcoin becomes the official currency of the world, do you think there will be a downside to it? If so, what do you think the negative effect will be once cryptocurrency becomes a worldwide currency?
If it become a worldwide currency and it has replaced fiat, the downside would be its volatility. Bitcoin's price is frequently changing at it hurts a lot of user. One negative aspect is that it only runs through the use of technology and internet so it is prone to technological failures.

Re: Bitcoin's High Volatility
by
Scavagers
on 07/09/2018, 17:00:53 UTC
As far as i know bitcoin has a high volatility given the fact that it is in demand in the market but i did not expect hat it is so high that it can really go from 1-100 and 100-0.
I want your insights about this volatility of bitcoin.
its high volatility makes it more impossible to overpower fiat. Some people say bitcoin will replace fiat but because of volatility, it has no consistent price and hurts the user if it goes to dump. Volatility is not always a bad thing, remember bitcoin has reached 20000 usd last year so we need to somehow be thankful about it.

Re: How do you think Bitcoin & Crypto would look like in 10 years?
by
Scavagers
on 07/09/2018, 16:47:49 UTC
I see a lot of people claims that crypto is the currency of the future and in few years the value of one BTC would be around 70-100k
How do you think this industry will evolve in the future and what would really happen?

Remember the date, 10 years from now we can come back and see if we right XD

I think in 10 years there is many things that are possible to happen but it is not enough for making a cashless society. A decade is not enough to make cashless society possible, many things are still needed to be considered. Ten years from now, maybe there will be more bitcoin users and cryptocurrency will be more popular.More popularity means more investors, so it might contribute to the pump and affect its price positively.

Re: Does engaging with bitcoins put you at risk?
by

on 05/09/2018, 15:31:45 UTC
We, as physically and intellectually healthy individuals, strive and survive to achieve our dreams, establish our roles in the society and fulfill our needs and wants. But in order to do this, we are also required to be financially healthy. The lingering fact is that money is not achievable as a single candy you can buy in the store. Sometimes, people risk their lives and reputation just to get a handful. Bitcoins are not officially a currency that you can just see in a certain country, that are being utilized and used. So, is dealing with bitcoins and other things related to it also puts us in a risky gamble?
it still up on you if your life is depending on it. Bitcoin and other currency is risky in the first place. The thing that made this risky is that there is no guarantee in bitcoin, there is always ups and downs or pros and cons.Even in joining bounty campaigns poses risks, the simplest way to earn still has risks but if you are afraid to take the risks, nothing will happen to you, but you must analyze first before taking risks.

Re: Please, we should not totally eliminate fiat currency
by
Scavagers
on 03/09/2018, 13:09:34 UTC
From what I have seen so far in this forum and other crypto platforms, most of us want fiat eliminated. But let us not forget that there are still situations whereby we can't use crypto except fiat like in rural places without computers or even internet facilities.
I think as of now, cryptocurrency still has no chance to overpower fiat. Still people believe on the capacity of bitcoin but dominating fiat would not be possible as of now. I think if that will happen, I would not be able to witness it because that will take too much time to take place. There are many factors to consider and a decade or two will not be enough.

Re: What strategy we should take when Bitcoin price fall
by
Scavagers
on 03/09/2018, 13:05:35 UTC
Now a days we sometimes seeing the price of Bitcoin falling along with others also falling.
At that time if I have Bitcoin then what should I do ?
Should I sell or hold?
When bitcoin's price drops to the lowest that it can be, never do panic selling. Even though price went low, selling will only make it worse and you as a bitcoin user will just accept your fate to lose money because of the dump. You cannot recover what you have lost if you have sold it already at a low price. If many people did panic selling at the same time, they would just contribute to the dump.
