Re: How many ATH will see in this week?

Hello and good week to all!
In recent days, we have seen the ATHs constantly changing and it seems that the train "to the moon" is not expected to stop anytime soon. Or will it stop and bearish? But, let's stop talking and wondering about this classic question. Let's make a small change and make it more positive and optimistic for all crypto hodlers and gamblers! Grin

The question is a simple gambling question: Do you think we will see ATH in the week that we will go through, starting from today and if so, how many?  Tongue

I think that bitcoin will break through 100k in the coming months, but then we will see a correction and a pullback. After that, there will be an overflow into the altcoins.

Re: A dangerous gambling behavior of a gambler

it's a long story but I'll try to make it short as I can for a comprehensively.

Yesterday while I was putting together some predictions for a parley bet as the EPL and other leagues  has just kicked off. In the process I started experiencing network hitches problem which I wasn't getting comfortable with. Suddenly another idea erupted in my head, why not just go straight to any of the sports betting shops closer and book these games at once. So I zoomed off.

On getting there with ease I was able to book my games using their computer and taking my ticket. In the brief time I was in the shop I noticed how one of the cashier was addressing another of the cashier angrily (it was later I learned that he is the head cashier). So out of curiosity I couldn't mind my business, I inquired as to what could be the problem why he was talking with such an angry tune on his coworker.

He then told me how a gambler had walked into the shop and played sessions of virtual games worth #32k (in our local currency) and disappeared without paying. I was confused, like how did that happened I asked. He had to go into details explaining that when the strange guy  played his first game he won #18k for which he didn't ask to be paid but continued gambling using the winning cash until he lost it all back to the shop. Out of confidence, the cashier didn't bother requesting for money for the next sessions thinking that after the guy might have been done gambling he will calculate the total loss for payment to be made or he perhaps might get another lucky win in the middle to cover for it in part or whole since he was able to get a win in the first game played. But unfortunately for him, the strange guy had another intention in mind, disappearing at the slightest minute the cashier's attention was diverted from his sight.

I felt dumbfounded by the stupidity of the cashier as I was speechless to say the least, I just had to tell him that the manager of the shop should install a CCTV camera in the shop to prevent future roguery of this nature.

Questions for discussion:
Why would a gambler adventure in  such a risk knowing the embarrassment he would have received or even getting arrested for it.

If you happen to be the manager of that gambling shop what will be your action towards the foolishness of such an employee. Will it just be an angry shout or beyond that?

Do you think there is any measure through which the strange guy could be identified since there was no CCTV cameras stationed in and outside the shop environs?

The employee would definitely be fired, because it was stupidity that cost the store a lot of money. Why did the player take such a risk? Because addiction is a terrible force that pushes you to take rash steps.

Re: Don't invest your all!

Good day everyone on this beautiful forum.
We all know how trading can be for everyone , everyone is there to make profits (money) , but the fact some people can go to length in using all they've ever had to trade is mesmerizing!.
Some even go as far as getting loans , borrowing from friends so they could trade, or invest in some altcoins..
The same apply to other things like sports betting, gambling and all of them.

I had a friend who took a loan from the company he works for , about 30,000, which would then be deducted from his initial salary.
He then went on to use this money to trade , now psychologically he was just not ready for it because his whole mindset was just about making a huge amount of money that he ended up loosing everything.
So my advice to people who hurrily invest and use all the have is that the market is never running away.
Do not stake your all! Be patient follow guidelines, learn how to trade safely , thank you!
I agree, you can't even invest all your money, you need to understand for yourself what diversification is. Investing in one business and not having at least some kind of airbag in the form of an amount that would be enough to live on is stupid.

Re: Will dogs listing be a success or failure?

The dogs hype has been on par with notcoin fr, so many people farming dogs and do many people saying dogs will cook and a lot of people are currently waiting for it to list tomorrow thinking it's their way to richness haha

I actually have a few dogs, too but I don't think it will be anything special or too extravagant. I already deposited to exchange, and I'll wait for the outcome innit but let's see. How do you guys think dogs will perform?
In my opinion, this will be a good project, the listing is postponed, but this is understandable, since they, at least it looks like they want to do everything beautifully and so that no one on the listing is waiting for their tokens, like in other projects. But I also think that this will not be a breakthrough.

Re: Should I hold Ethereum or sell it?

I hold some ethereum, but currently the price of ethereum coin has dropped a lot, I bought ethereum at $3000, now it's down to $2500. Is the price of Ethereum likely to increase?
I think it definitely makes sense to hold on to it and, if possible, even buy more ETH on the drawdown. Yes, it's not the best phase of the market right now, but a lot of factors have influenced it, and yet I'm sure that the price will be higher in the future, I expect $4k in the future.

Re: When I'm emotional, I LOSS!
by

on 07/08/2024, 09:39:13 UTC
Hey, guys! Are any of you emotional gamblers who often lose because you can't control what you feel? When you lose, do you tend to double your bets or chase your losses, driven by a pride that can't accept defeat? Do you consider this a problem? If so, has anyone here been able to solve this kind of problem themselves, and if yes, how did you do it?

I have this problem, and based on my personal experience, I find that sometimes I get challenged but not too greedy because I don't have a problem quitting when I'm winning. However, when I'm losing, that's where my struggle lies.

That's why I shared it here; I feel that some of you may experience the same challenges, and I'd love to hear your ideas or experiences on how to win this battle so we can enjoy gambling.
Yes, I have this problem too, but I haven't solved it yet. I can lose a maximum of 300 bucks, but sometimes, when the slot gives me nothing, I get unrealistic anger, which leads to higher bets and aggressive play. Sad
