Enough to begin thinking it is going live long and prosper. Was it Mark Twain that said "The report of my death was an exaggeration"?

Never gave a though to it but is an interesting question. If it is decentralized, then what institution would issue bitcoin banknotes?

The problem is there are few places where one can use it comparing to the ordinary money. Not many ways of practical use for bitcoin only investing for now

There is nothing we can do but be patient and lower the expectations. It is a long term investment.

It is popular and that's all we know for sure. Hardly someone tell us the exact number 'cause some people might have several wallets.

The value of bitcoin is based on supply and demand and is secured only by our interest and trust in the technology.

Nobody's. I do my own research, listen and read different opinions and make my own decisions. Just like in any other sphere.

Looks like he is uncomfortable with its high risk and anonymity. He prefers to control his money and investments and crypto is not that kind of sphere.

The guy is madly in love with Bitcoin, like Gollum with his ring or he has came to us from a rather distant future and is right.

Hardly they can help. They might only make it worse because first of all they start thinking how the can get more taxes

It seems like those who invested in crypto a rather modest sum of money and did not get rich right away now consider themselves losers.

Re: How can we make Crypto go viral?
by

First people should get rid of their apprehension of crypto, then there should be more companies accepting their payments in bitcoins and then of course it should stop falling down
Bitcoin can be an attractive investment, but bitcoin is unstable and it can be a high risk. Before you invest in bitcoin then you must first understand that bitcoin is very risky, so you are not frustrated because of the falling price.
I would agree with the opinion. First one got to understand all the risk and try to see the whole picture and then make an investment. The knowledge and understanding prevents form panicking and making false moves.

Re: I am a loser. My only question now is, how do I tell my wife
I mortgaged my house to buy $300,000 of ETH at 800. I dod not tell her. This house was paid off in full. Now I cant make the mortgage payments with my job. I cant even sell the ETH easily because I live in NH. Should i keep holding? Tired of making excuses about wherr all the money is going. I guess I'm what you call a loser. Thanks everyone.
they say: don't count your chickens before they are hatched. I understand the guy is having tough times now but it is too early to consider himself a looser. Find the strength to tell the truth to your wife and may be together you will solve the situation.

Re: does bitcoin look scary / deadly for the future ...?
Do you all have time to think about the future of our children and grandchildren in the future about the economy ...? if we see bitcoin in the present, it's already very busy talking about it some argue negatively and some argue positively Will in the future be the subject of conversation at the dining table for our grandchildren later ...?
Are you talking about the conflict between generations, like younger generation believes in bitcoin and has positive attitude to it in contrast to the older generation? Well, the same old story with any new technology. Some day bitsoins might enter our daily life just like any currency and it won't look so scary.

I guess it is for everyone. Except a corporation has more money to play with. Let say 4000 bucks for a person is rather big sum to loose, and not that much for a company.
