We have submitted our source code to Antivirus vendors and now we have to sit and wait. Majority of miners see this same variant when mining other coins and even mining software is flagged with a similar variant, you have nothing to worry about

If you look at the wallet commands using 'help' you will see that our wallet has a miner built into it 'start_mining'. Source code is open source and you are free to recompile the wallet and daemon for yourself.

I have to say this is quite an interesting topic - giving to charity with crypto and mining. I am interested to learn more about these opportunities where charities are also voted for.
How do the charities then get the amount? I guess they have to pay taxes or?

The current method is a poll posted on Discord and Telegram (Soon to change) this gives us a list of charities the community choose and then the next stage of voting commences where the most votes win. The last two giveaways we have given the items / cash to the charities in person. Some of the charities will deal with tax, but this is all dependent on the country.

damn... Was doing well before this was posted. As soon as this was posted, hashrate quadrupled and now it's back to another coin to mine.
I am sorry to be rude.... but among all the new bred of shitcoins, I think Haven is the one that has more price/difficulty ratio consistency at the moment and gives you a good ROI.
This mining of "fade" coins is good for those who have hundreds of GPUs. They get several hundreds or thousands worth of dollars within hours, then they send to the exchange and dump them right away for a good roi. For the hobbyist this does not work.
We began mining in the morning thinking of making some decent ROI, by the time you get enough funds to the exchange, you get peanuts.
You came at a bad time unfortunately, We got listed on TradeOgre and price will pump as its a new exchange. The price had to settle down and it has now, Still a good profit to mine right now.

I was attempting to create a new Solace coin pool cloned from Github (https://github.com/LPHuynh/cryptonote-solacecoin-pool) but keep running into an error and hoped someone with more knowledge could assist me.
Scenario: The pool is running, rpc wallet running, pool wallet open in background refresh. Miner connects and hashes, pool accepts shares. So it seems everything is working ok on the backend. Now, on the front end, when a miner connects, miner worker stats show and update, everything looks good. However, under the space where address lookup is, in red it blinks CONNECTION ERROR every few seconds. Nothing seems to be broken but I'm not a pool expert.
Could someone tell me how to fix the blasted red blinky connection error please?

Now, back to the blasted pool lol. Apparently, I'm doing something wrong.
Scenario:
Pool hashing, everything showing ok on pool (front and back end). Miner connected for 36hrs @ 1.6 to 2 kh with no blocks found.
Daemon and wallet running on specified ports from solacecoin.json, RPC wallet synced on same port as stated in .json. Like I said, everything shows good grrrrr except no blocks found and the effort has been anywhere from 300% to 1256%. What might I have missed in configuring the pool?

is there a way to solo mine? I have heard xmrig proxy for windows works for monero solo mining. Could this be done here?
Solo-mining is possible, You would have to setup your own pool and mine on it.

Hello this is not what we need.
Please open the directory in cmd and then type 'solaced.exe --log-file output.txt' Once it's starting to sync type log_level 2 in the console and let this run for a while. Once you've ran for a while please go to "C:\ProgramData\solace" and you will find the log file.
Once you've sent the log please use https://github.com/schmeckles22/SolaceCoin-Blockchain-Importer to import past block 9999. This should not be an issue and it's odd that it's happening to you as a few of us have just done a full resync and no issues.
We will get to the bottom of it!
I run solaced.exe --log-file output.txt but I cant find the output.txt file...

Same problem to me aswell, cli wallet error at block 16231...
Guys we are new coin so had to iron out some of the bugs... Always keep up-to date with releases on Github. The error you are receiving is because you have outdated daemons.We posted a few pages back on here but it can easily be missed.
