Re: Do not believe every crypto news you read online
by

on 17/01/2023, 01:42:21 UTC
When you see a crypto news saying that investors are leaving shiba inu and polygon or avalanche for a new project do not always believe, this is a new way to attract the public investors that have no time to do their own research first.

For example, something like this is been going on for a long time now

https://i.imgur.com/NYz7zAE.jpeg

I can't count how many times I've come across such news online and when you check the project out its either a new upcoming project that's not even launched yet or a project that has low volume.

This Oryen Network in the picture above is not even listed on coinmarketcap and presale is ongoing 🤦🏼‍♂️ why the lie in the first place? The presale is even struggling if you check the website.

New crypto investors need to be very careful when doing research, do not take a decision without doing your own research first.
News always makes people unable to see the truth. Now new media in the encrypted world are also emerging one after another, with all kinds of information. In fact, every piece of news has a strong purpose and guidance. Especially about ICOs. Therefore, it is very important to control risks and carefully study new ICO projects. This requires your usual experience. Crypto news is just one of the ways that projects can promote themselves.

Re: What's the future of digital currencies?
by

on 11/01/2023, 06:10:09 UTC
I've been wondering recently what's ahead for us in terms of the evolution of digital currencies.

There has been a lot of amazing development with blockchain and cryptocurrencies in general in the past decade. But I wonder if there's anyone working on other ideas or technologies that could also be promising. I'm not talking about altcoins. I mean real breakthrough ideas, similar to what happened when Bitcoin was originally introduced. It would be really exciting to witness the birth of something completely new in the next years/decades. I'm sure we have other brilliant "Satoshis" out there.

I'd love to learn more about cool projects and concepts that could be the evolution of blockchain (again, not altcoins please  Wink)
The future of digital currency must be bright. Bitcoin was born in the economic crisis, so the future of digital currency is a world currency that maintains the stability of economic order. Of course, this will also be a long process, from the initial virtual economic bubble and Ponzi scheme to gradually more and more users participating and using it. Then many countries and governments can also accept digital currency, show a more friendly attitude towards Bitcoin, and even use it as legal tender. In the future, digital currency will be accepted by more countries, and of course it will be more strictly regulated. Ultimately the future belongs to digital currencies.

Re: Why you should be very careful with alts

Crypto is a perfect engine for scammers because it's still unregulated and it's also the wild west when it comes to making money quick with less efforts. .

Apart from rugpulls and influencers scam that are very famous with altcoin investment there is one particular side I want you to be much aware of.

Many altcoins you are seeing right now are build on "Make the project, promise the entire world rare utilities and never really deliver anything, they will keep using words and investors will keep hoping.

They deliver small updates only to push the price higher.

They spent hours live streaming almost everyday.

They trust hype more than anything and a finished product will ruin it.

Keep a track of your altcoins regularly and once you see the slackness in the team it's safer to switch.
Many altcoins take advantage of people's greed, and the high-return returns make people chase wildly. The result is being lied to. What is even more sad is that many altcoin projects do not survive for more than 24 hours, which causes many users to have no time to think and track, and the project party disappears, and many of them are anonymous projects. This requires everyone to put away your greed, improve your cognition, and don't follow blindly.

Re: Where would Twitter go after its takeover by Elon Musk ?
by

Elon Musk acquired Twitter about two weeks agao and Twitter has been All the news everywhere. His bold moves of firing a big portion of staff, changing major Twitter features and making more modifications are spurring waves of controversy. His supporters and adversaries are quite in fights. Where will Elon Musk lead Twitter ? Is Twitter heading to a wrong direction ?

Elon Musk is a businessman with a short and wide range of thinking and strategy making & a businessman doesn't invest in anything where he can't predict profits. In my opinion, he will lead twitter to a leading top site in terms of social interaction and profit making.

In the eyes of many people, Musk is not only rich, but also has a high IQ. Although sometimes you feel that what he does is thoughtless or absurd. But often the easiest way is the most effective way. Twitter is more free. Perhaps under the leadership and management of Musk, Twitter can complete the transformation and transition of WEB2.0-3.0. I believe Twitter will become the greatest media in the world. In this process, there will definitely be various questions, and all kinds of information are true and false, but time will give me all the answers.

Re: After FTX collapse, some call for a return to decentralized roots
by
Schneidera
on 02/12/2022, 03:09:00 UTC
As questions swirl about how much cryptocurrencies will be worth in the wake of the spectacular collapse of the crypto exchange FTX and other major platforms, a key question has emerged: Who will keep your crypto safe?

In response, some in the crypto community are calling for a return to its decentralized roots.

Among the rallying cries of this latent movement: “Not your keys, not your coins.”

In other words: Trust only yourself.

But doing so requires individuals to maintain their own cryptocurrency wallets through a more complicated — if safer — process that involves generating complex passwords and sometimes buying physical hardware to keep track of crypto, as opposed to entrusting it to an exchange.

"A company like FTX was supposed to hold your assets, but they ended up lending them out," Tracy Wang, deputy managing editor at the crypto news site CoinDesk, told NBC News.

That concept is what undergirds the traditional monetary system and seems to go against the fundamental philosophy of cryptocurrency.

"This is like taking power back and being in charge of your own money," Wang said of decentralization.

So does that mean that Utopia P2P had chosen the right way from the very beginning, being based on its own decentralized blockchain and having own Crypton privacy coin? As for the 5 years of existence it didn't face any data leakage or scamming scandal. Or what else would you offer to pay attention to?
The topic of returning to decentralization is not a recent one. It's just that the FTT incident made people panic even more. This is not a simple case, it will cause a domino effect. In fact, many people use bitcoin trading as a tool to make money, continuously trade, and use the leverage and contracts of centralized exchanges. This process has lost itself, they know that their assets are safe in decentralized wallets and hardware wallets. In fact, sometimes I do this myself, and what I think in my head is inconsistent with what I do in my hands.

Re: What will be the next crypto craze?
by
Schneidera
on 02/12/2022, 02:54:12 UTC
Cryptos have had many crazes all over the years. First, it was Bitcoin appearance.
right after that, there were the altcoins and soon after the ICOs, IPOs and all the O's thingy craze. Afterwards the PoS and stacking craze came to play and then smart contracts came around then the DAO Blow. Then the Cexes, the Dexes and right after that, we saw NFTs rise along with the metaverse. (I'm probably missing something). Now we just had the Merge.
Many of these phases have helped the crypto market achieve new highs and led the blockchain technology to go mainstream.
A lot of developments have been a part of the industry growth, so my question here is, what do you guys think will be the next craze in the industry?

In the long run, Bitcoin is still the mainstream, but as other applications in the encrypted world, tool DAPPs will continue to be launched to accept market tests. Safety, speed, convenience, and freedom are still the ultimate demands of the majority of users. I am more optimistic about the NFT and DAO sectors

Re: Is there an efficient way to research and find new information on news

What about news aggregators? https://cryptopanic.com

Will get a more specific news summary if you use the search field.
This is a great news aggregator. I've used it before, but now I mostly use Twitter for the latest news. Twitter is an information-exploding social media. For example, the FTT incident made me unclear who was telling the real news. This is a headache. Many opinion leaders and industry leaders speak too ficklely, and the entire market sentiment and prices also fluctuate accordingly. So, no matter what, you have to judge for yourself.
