Will, appreciate the update pulse. Thank you.

Good luck with all your efforts in keeping HF to their word: http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1u2a3m/running_timeline_of_hashfasts_actions_lies_and/cee2gn7

My thoughts. Comment and feedback welcome.

Openness:
I asked for an update to the overall strategy some months once HF delay was announced and the shareprice reached 10% of its opening value. While I don't expect it written as a post (though this act of transparency would be highly welcome), atleast an email or PM to the known shareholders on how we are travelling isn't a big ask and is long overdue.

I think Icedrill have a long way to go to improve here and really should be more on the ball with the communications around the venture and its overall progress (actuals) versus the original plan (estimates) incl things like the budget spendings to date, upcoming expenditure, etc

Adaption:
I sense we are locked into legally bound buying agreement using HF products given a proportion of the shares are tied to HF interests and backers. If so, then our destiny is already set in stone and we can only hope HF (and Icedrill) come good sooner rather than later.

Legalities:
The situation around GLBSE, Bitfunder, WeeX hasn't helped anyone. Going it alone on the share management side atleast avoids that situation arising again.

Governance:
If an open, transparent communicate plan with the wider public is not currently possible (for whatever reason - NDA?), I think at a very minimum a smaller shareholders advisory group should be formed to be advised and informed of progress, provide a forum for investor representation, plus allow the views and perspectives of the shareholder group in key decision making and planning moving forward.  It is long overdue the shareholders should be proactively informed and trusted with the direction of the venture, and that level trust goes both ways.  It would certainly put a lot of shareholders minds at ease to know the operation is being managed and in good control.

I would certainly welcome Will's and DeadTerra's input to the current discussion and trust it will be forthcoming.

Confirming return of 6% of outstanding sum owed. Small steps, I suppose.

I wonder how much 386BTC represents in terms of the total BTC Weex had in its possession before the fall? Single figure %?

I still have 40 shares in BITBOND on Cryptostocks. Just wondering if anyone got some sort of a return in the end, and how they did it.

I noticed the expiry date for the fund is "Fri, 06 Dec 2013 15:59:59 -0800".

With the current delay and difficulty increase do you think shareholders will ever get back the .0016 BTC as per the IPO?

This is a good question, but my gut feel is a "no" on the short term, a "possible" on the long-term especially if the strategy around the 25% re-investment is sound and we get lucky with mining difficulty.

It would be good to get a business update and forecast from the management team , once a target date for first mining is set.

Getting the same error on trying to move my BTC: Unable to reach second stage server

Logged a case: OLZ-766451

Reading back through the thread that Ukyo is working on it.. albeit slowly. That's good to hear.

Any ideas on current processing time?

Will & Ludvig,

As part of the IceDrill management team, could you offer your perspectives on how the continuing delays from Hashfast impacts IceDrill, the previous timeplan and approach?

It is vital that in a time of crisis (share price now down to around 10% of its original value) that you have regular, clear and open lines of communication and are visibly demonstrating good governance.

An update from your side isn't an unreasonable ask.

Thanks

I'd imagine many would be happy to participate on trust so long as there is the balance of regular status/strategy/forecast reporting and an occassional 3rd party audit of the fund(s). Perhaps even a fund charter, governance and voter rights.

Would you consider such structures and protocols?

Can happily confirm receipt of payment.

Clearly DT has shown much patience, integrity and honesty in his management of this fund. All credit to him.

I'd be willing to consider putting my fund "profits" into another DT managed/controlled fund.

Send details.

I find one sentance too short.

How about some Haiku?

I might trust bitcoin
Other bitcoiners do too
That's ok for now

Or a limerick:

There once was a bitcoiner named Dave
With fiat cash felt like a slave
In Bitcoin he trust
If it never will go bust
He'll have enough coins to save

Good question. I suppose if I was to invest and make a profit on my investments then that profit would be subject to tax once I make a withdrawl in a fiat currency.  Banks report sizeable and frequent transactions directly to the tax authorities here in Sweden.

Jag skulle vilja saga att jag har använt btcx.se flera gångar (bara att kopa BTC). Trovärdigt tjänst och bra support.
