Proof of Work Seraph use the New PHI1612 PoW/MN algorithm to Validate Blocks. PHI1612 is one of the most Secure encryption algorithms, combination of Skein, Jh, Cubehash, Fugue, Gost and Echo algorithms. it does a GPU-based calculation during encryption. Unlike other Algorithms , the GPU resources are not always used atthe highest level during mixed encryption calculations. This means less electricity consumption and less heat generation.

They are full nodes that run 24/7 and require collateral of 5,000 SERA to be locked. In exchange for providing this service, and locking up the coins, effectively reducing supply, the Masternode owner is rewarded a portion of the block rewards. The percent of the block rewards earned is variable, and based on the SeeSaw reward mechanism.
