Yeah, it's funny isn't it, how most people still don't trust an Open Source community approach, despite the fact that pretty much the entire online infrastructure and ecosystem that we know and use every day is built around an open source community development approach. Bitcoin started this way and even now, the Bitcoin Foundation is a non-profit company.

I have used Exrates to buy BTCZ. It worked OK but I think the withdrawal fees are high.

In many ways, BTCZ already is a success:

+ Strong community & developer support (very clever developers too!)
+ Loyal mining network
+ Solid infrastructure
+ Great wallets
+ Real-world apps and genuine use cases already deployed and active (major eCommerce plugins & payment gateways, TxtZ SMS app, many other apps and even some coffee shops actually using BTCZ)
+ Clean coin & truly decentralized

If by 'success' you mean listing on Binance or achieving a $1, $10 or even $100 coin price then sure, we have some time to wait for those things. But that's not the point. The point is that when I look at the exciting activities going on here and the strength, purity and warmth of the community I feel really glad that I found this coin and that I can contribute to it's success (I'm proudly part of the BTCZ mining network that gives this coin it's fantastic transaction speed).

It was the exact same for Bitcoin (BTC). All work by volunteers. All natural growth.

Just a friendly tip (I'm a marketing optimisation consultant so I can't resist, sorry!) -

We should make more noise about the fact that people can send BTCZ from one person to another using just a phone number (no complex wallet address needed). The simplicity of this use case is huge!

Also, we should really start creating Press Releases about these milestone news items and sending them out to places like coindesk.com. Spread the good news

In fact, CoinBene traded 30% more volume in the last 24hrs than KuCoin AND Cryptopia combined. Plus, the trading volume on CoinBene is more than 3x higher than the next best exchange that BTCZ is currently listed on (Exrates). This is a serious exchange and listing here is a big deal for BTCZ.

A few points:

1) BTCZ is Equihash, not Ethash.
2) $1000 (with PSU) for 180Mhs at 800w is not that good to be honest. Yes, the equivalent Mhs GPU setup would be around double the cost but the risk of the ASIC becoming a brick from forking is huge. I know there are other Ethash coins but still, I don't look at this ASIC and get excited to buy one. I prefer the flexibility of GPU's. Also, Antminers are really, really noisy machines so really, only farms are going to buy this product and if you're a farm owner would you take the risk knowing that ETH could fork? I wouldn't.
3) Mining BTCZ has been more profitable than mining ETH for a very long time.
4) If we have new miners come onboard then it's all good - the coin gets more exposure and growth. There is enough BTCZ supply for everyone to have a slice.

It would be good to put this news on the website as well, in the exchanges section.

Also, regardless of the price of BTCZ this movement is very much alive with more activity than a lot of other coins with more market cap. Just look at the level of developer input: really good wallets, eCommerce plugins, tools, gateways... the list goes on.

The only reason the price hasn't rocketed is because the coin is only on small exchanges. So be patient, fill up with BTCZ now and then smile when it does hit a big exchange which I am sure will happen this year.

The quality of wallets for this coin are amazingly good compared to others - have you seen the Verge wallet and all of those other QT wallets? Those are hideously slow, clunky and quite frankly lazy. BTCZ wallets are awesome!

Good to be on the voting ballots, and please do vote everyone - it's easy and most of these are simple upvote clicks.

Really though, this coin deserves and needs to be on one of the big exchanges like:

Binance
Bittrex
Poloniex
Even Kucoin would add a lot of credibility

As soon as BTCZ goes on a big exchange it's going to go sky high. Like 3 or 4 x at least I think.

Most people don't know about this brilliant privacy coin yet. It's one of crypto's biggest secrets!

Getting on a big exchange will unlock other benefits too - for example, whattomine don't list BTCZ because it's not on a major exchange (the whattomine website owner told me that when I requested a listing). I've done my own maths and yes, it is consistently the most profitable Equihash coin out there.

By the way - the BTCZ Mac OS wallet is the best crypto wallet I've ever used (and I've used a lot, something like 30+ wallets). The BTCZ wallet is smooth, fast, secure and all with a really really great looking interface. I love it!

I've just bought another $2500 worth of BTCZ. One of the only coins in the green in the past 24 hours!

I wouldn't be worrying about voting in small-time competitions.

The only thing the community of this coin should be focused on right now is getting listed on a serious exchange. If I'm not mistaken, that's what the 10BTC was donated for, and that's what it should be used to do.
