WHAT IS SGAT ?  

SGAT is a new stand-alone smart-contracts environment remote from the blockchain but certified by it. SGAT is developing an ecosystem composed of two layers: a new high-performance public blockchain focused on privacy and a web application offering a simple, intuitive and user-friendly interface for custom smart-contracts.

SGAT smart-contracts certify enforceability, meaning that two individuals entering in a SGAT smart-contract does legally bind their contractual relationship. The written version of the contract is actually issued when the smart-contract is put in place and a unique contract reference is generated. The written contract is however stored in private servers (off-chain) but the reference and the issuance of the smart-contract is recorded in SGAT blockchain. Likewise, every transaction triggered by the said smart-contract is recorded on SGAT blockchain and linked with the same reference.

Additionally, with the smart-contract reference, anyone can consult the written contract through SGAT smart-contract database which will be accessible through SGAT web application. What makes it very interesting is the fact that the people that have entered in the smart-contract will have the possibility to choose the degree of transparency (disclosure) of the said contract. It means that they will be able to decide which clauses, characteristics or content they want to be disclosed or not. Furthermore, a degree of transparency (represented in % of the whole content of the contract) will be in any case assigned to the smart-contract so that anyone consulting this smart-contract will know how much it is disclosed.

We believe that this can add a game changer which will have a healthy impact for the industries. People will be able to assess the degree of transparency of a company or a counterparty. Knowing that it is the crisis of confidence and defiance towards companies – at the turn of 2007-2008 crisis – that gave birth to blockchain technology as we know it, we might finally see the realization of what blockchain aspires to : that to bring trust, sharing and transparency.

Our mission is to offer legally valid smart-contracts via a user-friendly environment allowing anyone to easily enter into a smart-contract.

Technically yes, if the player finds himself the club, negotiate with it directly, well he will be able to easily set the smart-contract between him and its club thanks to the "user-friendly" environment we will offer for that purpose

I would say that in the past months there has been a lack of true evaluation of the ressources really needed to develop a project. Our project doesn't require dozens of millions of euros to develop. A project that claims needing a soft cap of dozens of millions is just wrong when you are launching a startup. It doesn't mean that further investments will be needed, at the contrary it will, but that s another phase of growth, when the basis and foundations of the project is already set, working, and having made it s first proofs.

In other words, it is unthinkable for a startup, while the project is only in its first phase, to expect being able to quickly respond to the expectations placed in a blockchain project having raised dozens of millions of euros. The development of such advanced technology requires in all cases time. On the other hand, the correlation between allocated resources vs. strengthening and acceleration of development is only efficient up to a certain limit. One only needs to look at the number of ICOs having raised such sums and then had their token price collapse.

Of course we do plan hardware wallets. We believe it is just a normal thing to provide (like the Explorer) to our community, you can be sure that there will be hardware wallets

All the development team is based in Paris. Our London office is mainly for commercial purpose, the technical ressources are all based in Paris

Fore sure, this is just one "easy" use case to develop if I may say Wait for the second use case that will be further detailed, I'm sure you'll understand the potential !!

Very different ! We are based on CryptoNote protocol and separated blockchain and smart-contracts (two different layers) in comparison with Ethereum.

Indeed the MVP will answer to a lot of question ! We are finalizing the newsletter that will be sent int he coming days. We try to detail as much as possible the tech and language used. But for the use cases regarding the MVP unfortunately you ll have to wait for the video.
But to summarize, the MVP will at least show two use case, the first being our value transfer application (western union like) while the second will be a case of payment under certain condition (a selling between two individuals for example or between a merchant and an individual)

The bonus part will be locked for a few weeks but the rest will be tradable as soon as we are listed on an exchange.

Our blockchain is based on CryptoNote, like Monero, mainly for the privacy it provides but also a better scalability thanks to the size variability of the blocks !

SGAT smart-contracts service naturally requires a lot of development work, but it also requires a lot of legal work to ensure the validity of the contract and its enforceability. As a reminder, SGAT smart-contracts service will produce legally valid contracts in order to offer the necessary security and confidence for the adoption of this technology of the future!
