Completely redid it to make it more eye pleasing. Smiley
Can now be customized through the gnometer skin too. (color/size)

Not sure I'll do anymore unless it's needed/wanted.

Enjoy

Rainmeter Price Ticker

Went looking for one myself, but the few that were there seemed to be years old, and broken. So I decided to go ahead and whip one up.
http://spiralnine.com/bts/bitcoin.png

As you can see, it's a very bare bones style. (made it to match my other modified illustro gadgets)
It currently supports MtGox, CampBX, BTC-E, and BitStamp. (Will add others if requested)

Color/size can be changed in the Gnometer settings.
Exchanges can be disabled, and currencies changed from within the ini file.

Anyways, If anyone else is interested you can grab it here: ZIP or RMSKIN(deviantart)

Let me know if you use it. Not sure if I was the only one looking. lol

Edit: It's a skin for the Rainmeter.net app if some don't know.

Edit2: Well, I completely redid it to make it look better, and easier to customize. It now requires the Gnometer skin suite for rainmeter.

Put my rig on earlier today(yesterday now) when I saw this posted. Have had a large amount of rejects(1423 sense I restarted the miner about 9hrs ago), but seems to be running pretty well right now.

Saw these when they were leased, but haven't upgraded from 13.3b yet.

Max I've ever gotten on my ref 7970 is 680ish mh/s. Will try these out and see how they do. Not expecting a change, though would be nice.

Really don't believe in LTC. I think we shouldn't divide forces. Lets make BTC rule them all.

I kind of have the same line of thought, but the faster conformations is a nice feature at least.

I've been mining LTC lately because it's more profitable when converting it to BTC, although that's starting to change now it seems. Sad

Re: The best bitcoin wallet

I recommend Electrum: http://electrum.org/

  • No need to download the block chain. Just launch it when you want to make a transfer and it's instantly on. Even better if you enable Bitcoin URI's.
  • Deterministic wallet, so just secure the seed in a safe place and you will always be able to recover the wallet even if you lose all backups.
  • There are many Electrum servers to connect to, and you can switch between servers instantly. No down time.
  • Even when you are offline, you will have access to your addresses.
  • Portable.
  • Many different GUI options. Even has a text GUI.
  • Has many command-line features. Also, supports plug-ins, for instance, to help with storing labels in the cloud.

ETA: Ah, and I almost forgot... You can use the same Electrum wallet from multiple different locations simultaneously.

Second this. I love Electrum now. Used Armory/qt but it throttled my bandwidth because of its uploading. (ASDL)

That and they have an android client that syncs with the same wallet on my pc. Cheesy

Signed up a little bit ago, and just realized about the newbie restrictions. >< lol

Anyways. I'm sort of new to BTC. I started mining it a few years ago. Don't remember why I stopped, and sadly lost my wallet to the void of old thrown out/formatted hard drives. Sad  Started back up about 4 months ago, and am loving it again, even with the recent hecticness of it. Tongue
