This latest compromise on third-party web wallet discloses a fact that there are more risks for crypto investors when they use web wallets, especially web wallets from third parties. Even they come from official teams, it is always worst idea to use web wallet. Without fully control on private keys, in case your web wallet hacked, whom will be responsible for lost money, and whom will compensate for your losses

Holding more than 10000 veil coin will always help to get on stake on daily basis, but some time we are facing wallet issues which it is impossible for us to run the wallets on 24/7 basis because surely it can damage the hardware by keep on charging the device, so they need to implement POS model it will help the community.
With 10000 VEIL coins used for staking, how many coins you get back as daily staking rewards, in avergage? I ask this because I would like a make an estimation on how long I can get my fund back with assumed staking rewards and assume price of VEIL.

I do agree that Ripple is centralized and many people do not like xrp but remember this is a gambling site. If someone has ripple he can directly deposit them in stake.com to gambling, rather than first converting them to bitcoins and then depositing. The more options of deposit the gambling site give, the better and easy it is for the gamblers.
Not only Ripple, but also any altcoins that have cheap transaction fees, and fast transaction speed might be added in gambling sites sooner or later. Because they will help both casinos and gamblers. Additionally, there are other factors such as total daily liquidity, and history of network congestion. Casinos and gamblers need as fast transactions as possible, so it will turn out to be so terrible if network congested.

Gentarium and Gincoin provide one-click service to setup masternodes for non-technical guys. That's the way they bring convenience to their users. However, the point is over time, when more people become more familiar with those technical steps to setup their masternodes, their users might decrease. It is just an assumption, and of course will need more time to see how masternode hosting service ecosystem change.

Those alts surely slower than that bitcoin, because more capital flows into the market to buy bitcoin. Of course the capitalization that accumulates in trade gives a big advantage. But the price will definitely rise because of the shining bitcoin prices in the crypto market, and there are so many predictions about the alts, but theirs no guarantee, prediction is just a prediction not sure about it.
In the longest waiting time, altcoin season will start in the next 4 to 5 weeks. You will have chance to check my forecast, in next 4 to 5 weeks, but you won't lose nothing by believe in my forecast by now. Just remind that belive in my forecast does not equal to do all in margin tradings, that are risky and you might lose all your funds in days to come, not weeks.

The reason is simple: Consider Market Capitalization and you will understand why Ripple is one of the best to have at both Primedice and Stake Wink
With future growth of Ripple, Ripple investors will feel much happy and use part of their coins to bet on casinos, includes PrimeDice and Stake.com. There were some flippenings between Ethereum and Ripple in the second and third positions on coinmarketcap.com in the past. It is obviously that Ripple is a very very strong altcoin

Re: Trump's statement against cryptocurrency

I agree that's why we better not take it seriously, on the contrary others is sure that his statement is very positive for crypto market for whatever reasons. And even his pro bitcoin supporters are now confused, lol. Trump doesn't look stupid tho, he is such a dumb loose cannon.
Based on what Trump have done so far in his career, his ultimate goal is financial benefits. Sure, he or his relatives have likely invested or might invest in crypto. There is an assumption that Trump tried to manipulate Bitcoin and crypto due to his lovely daughter, Ivanka. https://www.ccn.com/news/why-ivanka-is-the-ticket-to-influencing-trump-on-bitcoin/2019/07/12/

Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched!
by
Sellman
on 13/07/2019, 03:49:09 UTC
The halving is not planed. It happens when it happens. Basically the reward is halved after every 840,000 blocks are mined. It takes on average 2,5 minutes to mine a block.

13,916 are left until we reach that. Using a little math magic and we get 24 days and a few hours... It's about the math and mining power, not a plan some people made.

Is it worth buying? Maybe. Nobody knows. I repeat, nobody knows. Use the little freedom you have left and make your own choice.
Personally I think that after serious corrections over weeks, since latest peak, Litecoin now is worthy altcoin to buy. I don't think Litecoin might surpass its latest peak, but it might be able to move close to that price range. And, such recovery before the halving is enough for me. Moreover, the things will happen with Litecoin closely before halving time might be a good example for what might happen with bitcoin halving next year, that is what I am more interested in.

yes it has been announced on the Stake's telegram channel as well
some players even had a chance to try it out ! I'm waiting for this new game to be introduced in full to test it out
should be a good addition , hope it is different from Limbo ( haven't tried the beta version yet , so I'm ready for the surprises here )
I'm also very surprised at Ripple being the most popular aka the coin with the most depositors
despite being a centralized piece of a coin , it is very popular, somehow
Yes, the coming crash game will be another factor to help Stake.com become bigger. Ripple, it is no strange to see that coin widely accepted in crypto world, and on casinos. Ripple has its own advantages, cheap price, fast transaction speed and very cheap transaction fees. By now, I have never heard network congestion on Ripple network, and this is another plus point for Ripple.

No offense but Trump statement is not that credible nowadays. He might change his mind like what his other statements against anything. When he realized that he is wrong, he will make a way to contradict his first statement so that he will look good and great.
He is a highly fluctuative man, his opinion changes so fast. However, what Trump said is not new at all. We all know how the USA government have tried to control crypto currencies (exchanges, ICOs, IEOS, and so on) in their nation. What Trump said is just boring repeat on what the USA governements have implemented for so long. He did not say anything new, and there is no breaking news from his statements.

I noticed people are talking about a mobile version... I suppose they mean the web-friendly website? I didn't find any mobile application in the android Playstore.
Also, accepting 14 coins sounds impressive !

Maybe I could be wrong and it is just my personal favorite, but I think that it is always better to play games and gamble or tradings on large computer screen. Hence, mobile devices are not the good choice. More importantly, on mobile devices, there are higher probability to wrongly type orders and so on. I don't think gamblers should gamble on mobile devices and mobile apps are not priorities of gamblings sites/ casinos.

Solaris, with the potential txbit.io exchange, and the switch from PIVX-code base to Stratis-code base, will be a very promising project for the next bull run of altcoins. At least, and most importantly, Solaris team have still developed their project, release txbit.io in 2018, the terrible winter year of crypto. From now on, it is time to think more positively about the future of both Solaris, and txbit.io.

First, it is risky to invest in new born projects, because all investors know is their OPs, Whitepaper, and very basics disclosed.
Second, it is risky to download and install wallets from new-born projects, because it might contain unknown threats. Even with antivirus softwares, new threats that have not been appeared in data sources are able to damage your devices and steal your important identities.

We understood clearly that the USA is the strictest nation on crypto currencies, especially KYC requirements on crypto exchanges' users, and private coins. So, what the President stated recent hours does not change anything in the management strategies of the USA government on crypto currencies. I don't understand why there are people whom fall into panic with recent opinion of the President on Libra, bitcoin, and crypto currencies.  Smiley

Being patient is key in a moment like this. The moment when bitcoin dominates the market cap value and also the moment of strengthening bitcoin prices. If we hold a good altcoin, I think now is a good time to accumulate and buy more
that's it. Mr. Trump tried to dump bitcoin today, so when whales buy cheap bitcoin, they will use those bitcoin to buy cheap altcoins, and pump altcoins for us. Be patient, and hold all your altcoins (good ones, of course) tightly to see them rocketing. To be honest with you all, this is my first time I saw news on Mr. Trump's perspective on crypto currencies. Or did I miss something?

I wish all best things for Watford in coming season, and if the club can play well, Sportsbet.io will get lots of benefits by the appearance on Watford training T-shirts. More fans of Watford club as well as others will know about the Sportsbet.io site, and they might join betting on the site. I think that the team made good decision to run marketing and partnership with Watford.

This is correct. Generally the more you have staking the higher your odds of getting a staking reward. Right now the estimated amount to get an average 1 stake per day is around 16,000 zerocoin veil.
How much does it cost with 16,000 Zerocoin VEIL? At current price of VEIL, it equals to 0.21 BTC for 16,000 VEIL, and at the staking rate (50 VEIL received per day), it will take around 320 days to receive 16,000 VEIL back from staking. It still does not count for increase of difficulty over time.

Its pumped above 100 sats 7 times in less than six years. The last time was in September 2018. If it averages out at one of those pumps a year we are due another soon. Waiting for a whole year takes patience.
Perfect! It means one amazing pump to over 100 satoshis per year. For me, such an annual exponential pump is enough for me, because I can increase my balance around 4 times per year with Dogecoin. I don't expect more profits. 4-fold profitable investment is more than enough.  Grin

Not only Poloniex and LEX, but also the recently opened margin tradings on some exchanges will increase total liquidity of crypto market, and DASH in particular. We have come closely to the end of altcoin bear market, and the bull run for altcoins will be started soon. I don't know when it will begin, and you don't, but I strongly believe that we will witness altcoin spring very soon.

Re: Ideal Time to Accumulate more Alts?
by

on 11/07/2019, 03:20:47 UTC
The prices of altcoins are still very low now and I think this is indeed the best time to accumulate the good ones among the altcoins because we dont know when the price will spike and may not be easy to accumulate then.
I can not disagree. Altcoins have very good price that not occur too often. I think such kind of opportunity to grasp cheap altcoins occur around 6 months per wave. So, we have been in the second chance to get richer (in BTC) with cheap altcoins. Don't hesitate too much because we have been in good phase to accumulate altcoins. Don't hesitate because altcoins will not dissapoint you and they will help you increase your btc.
