They just want to make sure that investors tempted to cash in on the cryptocurrency rage aren’t being lured into sending funds to an anonymous Internet entity without knowing where the funds are going or how they’ll be used.

Re: Where can i invest my money?
by

For me, don't invest it. There are many things that people have bought in the past, driving them to absurd prices, not because they did anything useful or produced money or had social value, but solely because people thought they could sell them on to someone else for more money in the future.

Re: why bitcoin is so much special than others currency ?
by
Sendibere
on 20/02/2018, 00:55:30 UTC
Because Bitcoin has a proven usage case as a store of value. It’s instructive that most coins try to carve out some differentiation based on much smaller use cases, such as prediction markets, buying things completely anonymously or adding a decentralized name server.

Re: Why china is not accepted the bitcoin as a online assets of business?
by

By considering all ICOs illegal rather than differentiating ones that trade in unregistered securities from ones that act more like tokens to use certain decentralized apps, China is taking a heavy-handed approach. (In the United States, the SEC appears to be gearing up for a distinction between the two types.) China may simply be trying to cool off the crypto mania with a strict, if temporary, edict.

I wish it will back on its own rhythm again. On the other side are the miners, who want to increase the size of blocks to make the network faster and more scalable. With any Bitcoin price change making news and keeping investors guessing.

Re: What are some disadvantages of BTC?
by

We all know the advantages of BTC, but what are some of the disadvantages??

The volatility of bitcoin is a double-edged sword, very unpredictable in its price and might result to a profit/loss on an individual. And Some counties ban the usage of bitcoin, resulting to a decrease on potential investors.

Re: Is bitcoin really secure
by
Sendibere
on 14/02/2018, 05:37:47 UTC
bitcoin is more secure than most existing financial services. But all of this speaks only to the technical security of bitcoin. Its financial security is another matter. Even more worrying are the warnings about how the impending bitcoin futures market may not stabilize prices as promised, but could end up contaminating the larger financial system.

Re: Arizona may the first State to accept BTC as tax bill
by

Arizona though is taking steps to become the first state to both recognize Bitcoin and it’s like as currency. The bill has faced opposition from those who cite the volatility of the cryptocurrency market as potentially disastrous to the tax base. Arizona State Senate Minority Leader said that all taxpayers would be at risk if Bitcoin was to experience a serious crash.

KYC means Know Your Costumer, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is reportedly preparing to prosecute ICOs which are held without KYC procedures. In fact, there have been cases where the SEC prosecutes and demands refunds for Token Sales that have not implemented KYC.

This is the big chance in cryptocurrency. But I should not ignore the fact it’s in an early stage of development and its has shown both successes and failures. Tracking this young technology’s development could help us maximize its potential to best serve us. New technologies often attract a wide variety of developers, including many freelancers around the world.

Re: crypto is the future, make money of it
by
Sendibere
on 12/02/2018, 06:37:03 UTC
I think crypto will not become our money in the future. Because it likely can’t be used on a national scale because of how few transactions per minute bitcoin supports. Bitcoin’s framework can only make seven transactions per second. And it will have issues of privacy that also stop it from becoming the future of money. Unlike traditional currencies, which have a value that is set by the central banking system, the value of bitcoin is driven by speculation about its worth like a stock. So it doesn’t make the cut as a currency.

Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ?
by
Sendibere
on 11/02/2018, 05:30:20 UTC
Technology, without a doubt, is the leading distractor for all corrupt activities. Corruption is everywhere, even in the government or sometimes in a organization. Bitcoin is like money, so it will lead to corruption. I wish it will become harder to corrupt people.
