Re: As a beginner is it too late ?

Hello,

I'm still learning about crypto currencies and willing to buy some bitcoins. Is it good time to buy?

Thanks
I don't think it's too late to invest in bitcoin. Now the price is only $7,100. In the past four months, the price of bitcoin has fallen considerably. It went from $20,000 to $7,100 now. If you buy it now, you can buy it at a lower price, and you'll get a lot of revenue when it gets to the highest price.

i have been thinking bitcoin cannot last forever..............i need you guys opinion if what im thinking is right.
How long will bitcoin be there? No one can give you an accurate answer. But I don't think bitcoin will die in the short term, and it will continue to survive. Because more countries accept bitcoins now, more people are involved in bitcoin, and it is doing well.

Re: Will bitcoin destroy the world?

Bitcoin mining is based on very high energy costs and environmental costs.

One bitcoin =20 barrels of oil.

How many barrels of oil do you think the industry consumes every year?

10 barrels? 50 barrel?

Each year, the mining industry consumes more than 24 terawatts of energy, the equivalent of 13,239,916 barrels of oil.

Every 10 minutes, 12.5 bitcoins are dug up, meaning 20 barrels of crude oil have been reached since each bitcoin was dug up (not yet traded).

In other words, the amount of energy consumed by the global bitcoin mining campaign is 40 times greater than the amount of energy needed to support the Visa card network.

One bitcoin transaction = one American family USES electricity a week.

According to encrypt the currency analyst Alex DE Vries estimate an index, the currency trading energy consumed each year more than 24 tw, this is equivalent to total energy consumed each year in Nigeria, which has a population of 186 million.

Currently, about 300,000 bitcoins are traded each day. Each bitcoin transaction costs 215 kilowatt-hours of energy.

The average American household USES about 901 kilowatt-hours of electricity a month, which means that each bitcoin exchange consumes enough energy to make an American family comfortable for a week.

What do you think about the energy consumption of bitcoin?
I don't know the accuracy of your figures. Bitcoin but I know that mining consumes a lot of energy, it is true that many people because of mining bitcoin will consume large amounts of energy to select a boycott of the bitcoin , so I hope in the future the bitcoin could invent new energy mining, this will help the bitcoin to get people's approval

Right now there are more coins available in the market which gives you more profit than bitcoin.
Bitcoin price is also not stable.
All these factors affect its popularity ??
What you think, still bitcoin is more popular ?
I don't think bitcoin has lost its reputation. It's still the king of all currencies. Now more and more countries accept bitcoin, and more people are participating in bitcoin, which indicates that the popularity of bitcoin is growing.

Hey guys. I was asking my self "Should I buy Bitcoin now? What if it's gonna go down after I buy?". What do you think? Should I buy or wait?
No one knows what will happen to the future price of bitcoin. We can't make a mistake about whether the price of bitcoin will fall after we buy it. We need to make our own judgment. I now choose to buy bitcoin because it has to go down a lot and can now buy at a lower price and I am willing to take the risk.

During from past two years when bitcoin stepped in,Every body takes it lightly but i personally dont know that how it get so high on USD then how it conquered the transactions of banking, there was also a time when 1 BTC was = to 1100$ which also led myself toward this entity crazily,Bitcoin was like catastrophe in transaction sector or what can i say it a 'Currency sector' then we see also a big drop in the price of Bitcoin from 1100$ to 300$ .It boomed suddenly ,Every body head was down thinking that they had lost something because some peoples had transferred there currency in bitcoins because of Current Good situation also and of the value of the 1100.
Still today those people aren't in a big loss because bitcoin is much more valuable still today ,i know it is not much then before it was used to,but i have to admit it that with that big fall ,
btc is still famous
BTC
Yes, bitcoin is still popular around the world. Now more and more people to join the bitcoin, the more countries accept the bitcoin, I think that in the next few years, the currency will be accepted by all the countries around the world, then it will become a global currency

I'm a new investor who is talked about Newbie, and I'm know Bitcoin by Ebooks and Internet.   Smiley I found that the history of Bitcoin is relatively short, to talk about benefits, it is digital currency, not through convenient medium and relatively fast. But there are many limitations, it is anonymous and easy to be Hackers possession, difficult to universal throughout the world as well as all types of business. I want to borrow money from my parents to buy more Bitcoin, because I believe the value is increasing but they still doubt it is multi level ponzi, should I invest a lot here or not? I need more advice. Thank all of you a lots.

We all know that bitcoin is a great way to invest, but it's also a big risk. Investing in bitcoin is not that simple. Don't put all your money into it. If the price of bitcoin crashes, you'll lose a lot of money and you'll lose your parents' money.

Our country just recently held a seminar introducing bitcoin in our country. The said seminar were facilitated
by bitcoin experts and government officials in pursuit of using bitcoin as another form of payment and regulation of it as well.

http://www.wheninmanila.com/5-things-i-learned-about-bitcoin-and-cryptocurrency/
The Philippines used to be a country that banned bitcoin. Now it accepts bitcoin again, which has a big effect on the development of bitcoin. This would be a good example of how many countries in the future will be able to ban bitcoin.

Dear all,

I just heard some of my friends chatting in a gathering and they think Bitcoin is scam and Ponzi. I just give them a smile and wish they will educate themselves a bit.

So, I would like you to give me some suggestions, how I can give them some hints with soft words which can change their mind or at least give them some more space to think twice?
When your friend thinks bitcoin is a scam, you should be patient and explain to them that you want your explanation to change their view of bitcoin. If they still haven't changed their minds, I don't think you have to listen to their views on bitcoin.

New user to the forums and new to Bitcoin overall, just looking for some advice. My friends have bought packs with USI-tech a few months ago when the price was around £2.5k per coin. I'm looking to get into it but just wondering when to go for it.

I've been waiting for the price to fall which it kind of has now, do I wait it out even longer for it to fork again in November? Or do I just put some money into it now. I've been doing a lot of research before I do anything but just want some opinions on here please.
When you decide to buy bitcoin, you need to watch the development of bitcoin. If bitcoin is doing well and is growing, you should buy it now, or the price of bitcoin will keep going up, and you will miss out on this good buying opportunity.

The price of Bitcoin growing consistently from 2009 sum of people are very confuse to see the price of BTC that what is the right time to invest.
According to my opinion at this time price of Bitcoin in low position so you can invest.
What you think.
Yes, if you're going to invest in bitcoin for a long time, I think the price of bitcoin is very low right now, and you can buy it now, and it's going to go up dramatically in the future. If you're going to invest in bitcoin in the short term, I don't know what's going to happen to the price of bitcoin recently.

Re: Will Bitcoin become a daily currency???
by

on 03/04/2018, 20:28:39 UTC
I have recently written an article about the possibility of Bitcoin becoming currency we will use on daily basis.  so now I want to ask the question do you think we will see if it can be used as a daily currency???  or do you think it will be more like gold a good store of value???
My own personal hope is that we will see cryptocurrencies develop into currencies we will use on a daily basis.  in my opinion, bitcoin will be a good place to start due to the mainstream knowledge about Bitcoin,  but I do not think it's the best-suited kind for daily use and I believe we have a long way to go before it is a viable alternative to Fiat currencies for the majority of people.

For inspirational purposes, I have included my article
https://cryptoms.online/2018/02/27/will-bitcoin-become-a-daliy-currency/

I don't think bitcoin can be a daily currency. It now has many shortcomings now the development of the currency, the currency in the offline some stores are difficult to accept the currency payment, its speed is slow, and then will make a big fee

I will not invest bitcoin at the moment, it puzzles me.  2017, bitcoin prices will increase as bitcoin loans are the primary currency. In 2018 I saw a lot of bitcoin imbalances at times when it came to the point where I could not believe Embarrassed
Yes, I respect your choice. But I still believe that the currency, and now it is the price of $7450, I think the price is not high, it has dropped a lot, if according to the currency's long-term development, will continue to rise in the price of the currency, so I will choose to buy now

Sad
A Korean student has committed suicide after falling into a depression because of a big loss of money invested in bitcoin and cryptocurrency. A 20-year-old Korean student has been found to have committed suicide after falling into depression due to huge losses in bitcoin and cryptocurrency. The body of the victim was found at his home. The victim has earned 200 million won (about 200,000$) from investments in cryptocurrency.
it's so sad. Rest in peace.
Doesn't he know that investing in bitcoin is risky? I think he is know, because of his greed to choose investment currency invested all his money, then the currency crash happened he lost a lot of money, I will not feel sad for him. Don't invest in bitcoins without a good mental capacity.

Hi guys me want suggestions

me planning to sell all my btc and wana buy etherium  ETH as btc is down 6.23 % in 24 hr and eth is down 10.68 % so me thinking best time to buy eth as it will grow

what says guys ?
It's your choice. We can't change your decision. I don't think it's a good idea to sell bitcoin. I think the value of ETH is now much lower. Many ico are now banned, and the use of ETH has fallen a lot. I think its price will continue to fall.

What is happening to Bitcoin? Why does the pricenkeeps on falling down? The initial result of G20 is favorable towards it so I thought that it will be the start of another bullish chart but it is the opposite. Can someone enlighten me about the current situation of cryptocurrency?
Bitcoin has gone down a lot in the last few days, and we don't know why it has suddenly dropped. But I don't think it will last long. Many people have chosen to buy bitcoins now, which will give us a lot of revenue and I will be in bitcoin if the bitcoin rebound.

how long  btc will keep bleeding ?  and  is it to late to sell ?  are we in the bottom of the dip ?

thank u
I think the decline will soon be over. It has been going on for nearly four months. The price of bitcoin has dropped from $20,000 to $6,800, and I don't think it will cost less than $6,000. Now we can't give up at last, or we will lose a lot.

I don’t know how much more. My $1350 investment is worth $526.78 as of this moment. My coins were BTH, LTC, and ETH.
If you're tired of waiting, you can choose to sell your encrypted currency. Now that the entire encryption market is falling, we can't control the price of the encryption market, we can only do the patient waiting. Wait for bitcoin to return to normal, or we'll lose more.

Re: How are your governments reacting to Bitcoin?
by

on 29/03/2018, 15:50:23 UTC
Hello there... I am from India, and Bitcoin is still in the grey area here. It is not legal, but it has not been declared illegal either. But the government has explicitly stated that Bitcoin is not recognized as a legal currency here.

The government is still working on deciding a framework for it, but we have absolutely no idea about what its verdict will be. So, people here are trading in Bitcoin for short-term gains. Make hay while the sun shines!

How are your governments reacting to Bitcoin and what's its position in your country?
In the past few months, our country's government has suddenly announced that it will strictly regulate cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin. All of the domestic encrypted currency exchanges were shut down, which was a bad news for investors, and the entire encryption market crashed.

Re: Is bitcoin used by criminals ?
by
SeniorRalap
on 28/03/2018, 19:12:48 UTC
I once read an article that says bitcoin is used as a payment transaction for terrorists and hackers. And maybe you guys in this forum also already know it. But here i want to convey my personal opinion in that matter. I think that internet and bitcoin interrelated. Many terrorists and criminals use internet .so also with bitcoin which used perpetrator However, despite all these issues, do people make concrete efforts to ban the internet? No. Not because removing and banning Bitcoin is difficult, but because the internet offers more positive than negative. For the same reason, we have to be more careful about our mindset for Bitcoin, because much evidence has shown that Bitcoin brings many positive, if not more, effects than the internet. Internet and Bitcoin are just devices that 'bad guys' and 'good people'. Fortunately, the world is filled with more people in the 'good people' category.
Yes, many criminals because of the currency dispersion and anonymity choose to use COINS as a crime, but I think it's just part of the very few, most criminals are still use fiat money, so we cannot for this reason the currency is prohibited
