I had similar problems getting my MN to work in windows and then I switched to linux thinking it was a problem with the windows wallet but I had the same problem in linux. I'm actually not 100% sure what the actual fix was because I kind of feel there is some kind of weird glitch in the code maybe that causes this. I ended up carefully reading through all 3 masternode setup guides on the phils website and combining the knowledge from all guides to fix the problem. As I said I am not 100% sure if this is required or if it fixed my problem but the last thing I changed was adding the line 'rpcport=36002' to the conf file since it was missing from mine before. Here is the contents of my phils conf file:

Make sure to change 'any_password_you_want' to something else although I suppose that could be a valid password and will most likely work if you leave it like that. For sure you must change 'your_masternode_private_key' with the actual private key for your masternode and also 'your_external_ip_address' will be the ip address of the computer you are hosting the MN.

After I made the changes to my conf file I stopped and restarted the wallet and ran the 'masternode start-alias MN_Name' command and I got 'successful' as always. I was able to check on another computer that my masternode was in the list by using 'masternode list' but as you stated, I was having issues where it would show up and then maybe 1-2 hours later it would disappear from the list. There are 2 other commands you can use to check your status. 'masternode list-conf' and 'masternode status'. masternode list-conf should show "status" : "ENABLED" at the bottom. masternode status should show "status" : "Masternode successfully started". For me, the problem was that the masternode status command was showing "status" : "Not capable masternode: Could not connect to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:36003" even though there was no problem with my ports being open. I ended up just shutting down the wallet again for about 5 minutes and restarting it and magically everything gave the proper success msg after that and I started receiving rewards after about 24-36 hours (I believe there is a 12-24 hour period where you do not receive rewards after first enabling the masternode properly). After getting my first reward I now get them every 12-16 hours.

I've set up 5 other masternodes before phils and never had this problem. It can be frustrating but I hope this helps!

Everyone wants a coin with a big gain but imo ETH won't reach $100,000 with competitors like EOS on their heels. But nobody can predict the future and who knows what can happen. In my experience its the ICOs that have given me the biggest gains so far and fairly consistently too. I know many people say that ICOs are risky and they are but so is crypto as a whole. If you look at a coin like http://graft.network/ that has very strong potential for adoption you can probably make many times your investment in the first few months. But again, who knows which coins will win out in the end? My approach has been to buy up the ICOs and tiny coins with great potential and ride them up 5x, 10x, 20x, 50x and 100x+. Once you make 100x your money it may be time to take some profits and hedge some of your winnings off into other smaller coins and play the waiting game all over again.

So the ICO starts tomorrow. Has it been confirmed how many GRF will be required for collateral in order to create a supernode? I know that the answer WAS 500 GRF but now because of the x100 changes there are almost 2 billion coins instead of 18 million, so I can only assume we need more. I am on the whitelist but I would really like to know the answer to this before I buy or else I won't know how many coins to buy. Can anyone from the team answer or does anyone else know the actual answer?

What kind of returns are you expecting over x amount of years to be able to retire on? I've been very interested in Walton but the price has been so high lately that I felt you could only get maybe 10x your investment over years of holding but I have no doubt this coin will do well into the future. I know very little about about metaverse but it seems like a better buy imo based on the current price, market cap and total # of coins. Personally I prefer to put money into undervalued coins that are worth pennies. Most of the coins I put money into this way have already made 20-100x my initial investment in only a few months. Whether or not they will be around forever remains to be seen but I can always dump them and put the money into Walton later. Just my 2 cents.

I had a quick read through the website and whitepaper. Do you have any unique features not found in other coins? Any interesting future plans? $5,000 to start a masternode from day 1 is super high. I own 3 masternodes and each one I purchased between $1,000 - 2,000 and those were post ICO prices. Seems like more of a gamble than any other coin at this moment. Good luck!

It works well to store your coins on any exchange but if you plan to HODL for the long term or at least a while it is always best to move your coins into an external wallet where you can control the private keys. If Kucoin gets hacked you could lose your coins or if kucoin goes down for any reason you could lose your coins if they don't come back. Maybe it's a small risk but its a risk nonetheless. I typically only store small amounts of coins on any exchange that I can use for fast trades when prices dip and the rest gets sent to my personal wallet. I just wish there was an easier way to keep track of so many coins in a single wallet since its kind of a pain to manage 50 different wallets but maybe that's just me liking to diversify my portfolio.

Not trying to spread FUD but I was interested in this to the point where I almost downloaded the android app. Unfortunately the comments for the android app are mostly all negative with people saying they spent x amount of time doing tasks and never getting recognized for doing the task so they wasted their time. I don't have all the details and I didn't try it myself but I imagine things needs to be improved before this can really take off. I would love to hear more about people's experiences on this forum as I've found that many people who comment on the play store might not be as tech savvy.

Are there any plans to host a bootstrap file for the blockchain like other coins have done? It took me almost a full day to sync the blockchain yesterday and I was thinking/hoping it would be much faster.

Das Thema war eher allgemein gemeint .

Wobei ich die häufigkeit der letzten grossen Scams / oder Flops Pirate Glbse ect .. im zusammenhang sehe das die Leute aktuell lieber aufeinander losgehen statt ordentlich zu diskutieren .
Tut mir leid für deine verlorenen Coins habe es auch hinter mir.
Manchmal wird man eben bestraft wenn man zu Gierig wird oder eben versucht vermeintlich etwas gutes zu tuen indem man einen fremden vertraut.

Was ich nicht in wertung stellen möchte was auch immer deine beweg gründe waren dafür.
