ROAST has been added to the Peercoin Flutter wallet as an experimental feature.

The ROAST technology being worked on at Peercoin not only makes it possible to form massive multisignature groups and distributed oracles, it also enables use on foreign blockchains like Ethereum.

The Peercoin blockchain has (soft) forked at block #801331. SIGHASH_ANYPREVOUT (APO) is now activated. Please update to v0.15 if you did not already.

APO is a soft-fork that allows a transaction to be signed without reference to any specific previous output, such that any output with a matching signature can be dynamically added later.

Noosphere client, the Peercoin Foundation's implementation of ROAST (Robust Asynchronous Schnorr Threshold) signatures, is now open sourced under a permissive BSD-3 license. Flutter developers can now easily include this library in their apps.

Frosty is now public and open sourced under a very permissive BSD-3 licence.

This package makes FROST Taproot threshold signatures available to Dart/Flutter apps and is used for the Noosphere ROAST implementation that makes it easy to coordinate and create these signatures (and will soon be integrated into the Peercoin Flutter wallet). We welcome all bug reports and pull requests.

63.2% of the last 1,000 blocks signal that they are ready for the v0.15 "APO" fork. This protocol update is about making DLCs nicer to use, ANYPREVOUT (APO) ensures that all outcomes of a DLC are in place before it is funded so all the parties of the DLC don't need to trust one another.

If you are waiting for a stable release before you upgrade, that is not necessary. v0.15 uses the same codebase as v0.14, which has been stable for a while now, so there is no need to wait.
