Besides being arbitrary what the price per full coin is, the next coin to shoot up in value is going to be Gridcoin: gridcoinnetwork.org

Re: Will The Government Ever Find a way to Regulate Bitcoin?
by
Seppelpeters
on 18/02/2014, 22:05:55 UTC
I think what will happen is that governments will start whitelisting bitcoin addresses and not tolerating any transactions over unlisted addresses. So they will control anyting going through the whitlisted addresses and will make any contact to unlisted addresses illegal.

For day-to-day trading look at any altcoin with a lot of fluctuation. Otherwise a good long-term investment at the moment is Gridcoin, a coin with scientific backing.

I would rather have a Bitcoin Credit and Loan institute as opposed to your more traditional approach to banks. I do not understand why this kind of service has not been offered yet on a larger scale.

The Intel driver may have disabled some features. Try uninstalling the AMD driver, reinstall the Intel driver, then install the AMD driver again.
If that does not work:
Get rid of the Intel Driver! AMDs driver architecture is already so bad, a 5 year old Korean kid could come up with a better one. You can't expect it to run side by side with another driver, or you gonna have a bad time.

Re: BEST NEW ALTCOIN TO MINE?
by
Seppelpeters
on 27/01/2014, 12:06:59 UTC
At the moment it is definately Gridcoin. I really do not know why there are not more people mining it, because it has everything the other coins lack and is super-profitable to mine, more profitable than any other coin listed on multipool or on an exchange.

Re: Do we really need so many kinds of coins?
by
Seppelpeters
on 25/01/2014, 20:10:11 UTC
So many different currencies are definately not needed. Most are just pure clones without any innovation or new thought. It's simply about who came up first with this "phantastic" idea. This is sad because they take the air away from those who actually incorporate true innovation and that were developed in a diverse community, like Gridcoin. It is this kind of diversity all miners should be supporting.

Unlike Bytes, hashes don't multiply by 1024 from Terra to Peta. So yep, it's higher than a trillion

Re: Everyone doing cryptocoins should be using Linux as OS
by
Seppelpeters
on 24/01/2014, 07:43:55 UTC
Yes, Linux is definately the way to go for security and better control and debugging. Windows may be user friendly, but it is a pain to debug anything on Windows. I have spent wasted hours on a problem that was not really there, just because Windows decided it will not work normally for that day. The coin I am currently mining still has no Linux client, but as soon as one is released I will chnge to Linux.

What if the sock muppets are collapsable, you know babushka style? Will there be more? So lets say another 100 in each muppet, not forgetting that each muppet is controlled by an all-knowing hand, so lets say 200. So how many are there now?
10, Patrick is always right.
