If I recall correctly, after the mainnet was delayed for a few days or weeks, the team decided that they won't put dates into the roadmap. And I think it's better that way. I'm a programmer and I know that sometimes you come across some problems that you just couldn't foresee and that causes a delay. And then the community gets angry and so on. It's better if there are no exact dates. Besides, in most roadmaps you can see what will happen in each quarter of a year (Q1 2018, Q2 2018...).

    More and more ICO projects are coming based on many major currencies and specially in this year the trend increased rapidly with many reputed organizations that are in various industries and trades decided to start there own digital currency to make there business more effective and efficient in order to gain more profit.
    Can these new launching Altcoin's make a negative impact on bitcoin's expansion in the future because we all know in order to increase the demand, usability and accessibility of bitcoin it should be widely use in most business areas but if Altcoin's take these opportunities how it can achieve its vision to become a widely used digital currency

The title of this thread is bit provocative, but the fact is that most people have a bad experience with airdrops. According to several airdrop hunters I spoke to, the majority ICOs don't pay out at all.

Development Update September 7th, 2018

Today’s update will focus on the work completed between September 2 — September 7, 2018. However, before beginning the update, Oyster has decided to move to a bi-weekly update structure, as opposed to the current weekly update system. Many of the current projects the development team is implementing to the Oyster platform are large in magnitude and will span well over a single week to integrate into the system. Because these implementations take longer to complete overall, it will be much more efficient to supply updates to the community on a biweekly basis.

And if not when a real trading platform for Priv Because ok we give ourselves thoroughly to give our votes to an unknown platform to be listed. But that's not what will enhance the price of Priv.
When we look more closely, we have no exchange platform worthy of the name and I do not speak very big but just Cryptopia or Kucoin for example.
For now we have just Crex24 that nobody knows and I do not even talk about BiteBTC that distorts the course of Priv by bot.
At some point, you have to start waking up and go to the serious thing.

When i think about ETF, i think more investment will come. It is good for bitcoin and also alts. But how if it will become like late 2017? when majority crypto users are traders and investors who expect moon and lambo. And cryptocurrency become speculative things rather than digital currency.

Now we see the result. Crypto market hard to recover because no one want to buy, we only hold and waiting whales or random person to start a bull run or "institutional money" to come in.
Same person who buy and sell.

I think we might see different result if cryptocurrency have wide adoption/real usage as digital currency, because that will bring continuous real demand. and market recovery wouldn't be too hard

Lolz. They might die real soon as those people are more than 50% down the line and catching the break even would be sweaty! Newcomers? Well, its a good chance but they should first know how everything works and must keep some trust on this tech. Others might confuse them as we speak of dropping of the bitcoin from 18K to the current value. Will they trust it?


No one can tell. It could drop until the last cent or it could fuel up to the moon. You never know.

I have been following bitcoins for the past 4 years. i am an Enginner. i remember how bitcoin was introduced to Me. To be honest, i was thruogh ponzi. i used to deposit over 0.1,0.4 to earn 0.7 to 0.9 bitcoins and i made a lot of Money. then, suddenly i decided to go for the killer jackpot and stack all my btc for once. i can remember clearly when a friend was advising me NEVER TO PUT ALL My eggs in one basket. i refused to listen and insist that it is only by strong will can one survived.
 Unfortunately I LOST EVERYTHING.  IT was my life saving. Both my earning and my interest.
To cut the story short. i borrow money form the friend that was advising me not to stake everything. i need to pay back. But i will never depart from my lesson learnt from the bitcoin  stuff. i bought another bitcoins last year august and keep it away from anything. i strongly believed that i will still get my money and my friends money.
Thanks to the current Market, I HAVE TO SELL EVERTHING TO PAY MY DEPTHS.
