Wow, Maxcoin is still alive! Used to have a little bag in 2014 - is the wallet/chain still the same?

I guess that after the price decline and hashrate drop now Bitcoin's electricity consumption has been considerably lowered. A temporary relief. But this point remains crucial for the future, anyway: in a closed system like Earth with limited resources and climate change problems PoW cryptocurrencies are not sustainable and have no long term future. End of period.

It's a quite acceptable answer, which however is still not convincing as far as the alleged impossibility of being listed on some minor exchanges, something difficult to believe in a time when the shittiest shitcoins manage to achieve that in no time.
As for the price, it's true that bounty dumpers have a big impact, but the quality of feedback from the team regarding the progress in the roadmap has a much bigger impact. And it seems that this is what has been quite missing so far...

Well, I've discovered Semux just because of the sig campaign. For a while you could see it everywhere. But I agree that to keep it on all the time creates tollerance and less and less attention. Perhaps they should run periods of sig campaign now and then. On and off - most effective strategy IMO.

Will there be any new signature campaign this autumn? It has been a great pleasure to take part to the first one and Semux is surely one coin worth hodling long term.

So basically only the holders of Spectrecoin will get Wisp because of the fork.
And probably the size of the community of Wisp won't be larger of the Spectrecoin one.
Devs won't do much to develope the coin - they have declared.

There is some confusion in this thread about this issue, both on the side of the people and of the team. It's time to say the things in a clear way.
The main problem now is NOT posts being deleted. The problem now is old threads being deleted.
If a post of yours is deleted, you will find a note in your mailbox telling you that a moderator has deleted it. This way you get notified.
If you get NO notification - as this is what is happening to most of us here - it's because an entire thread has been deleted and there were posts of us which got erased too.
So it makes no sense to recommend to people to make good posts so that they don't get deleted - because this is not the issue here.
Personally my post count this week is -2, so I will need to post at least 3 posts to qualify. But I'm reading that there are several members with a post count of -30.

I wonder what the German tribunals are doing about all this. German authorities usually wouldn't take frauds as a joke. But apparently there is no news about that in the press. I wish there were.

Semux project looks good indeed, except for the discussion on this thread, which is of very low level. Should anybody have to judge Semux from the level of the discussion on the Semux bitcointalk thread, OMG...

Marketing can only boost projects short term, giving a pretext for speculation (pump & dumps) but in the end the price is destined to reflect the real value of the project. Waves looks underestimated right now, but to boost it the way is not marketing, but further developement.

To know the identity of a team is necessary only in the case of ICOs where actually you have to hand your money to someone you have to trust. Otherwise, why?

I am very happy for Bancor being the first token added to the Platform - it is one of the projects out there IMHO. And I'm curious to discover how the DEX will work withthe ERC-20 tokens.

At the moment everything is stalled and nothing happens as far as the developement of the project is concerned. If this condition won't change, the project is dead. Just as it happens to living creatures. If they don't move for enough time this means they are dead. It is up to the project now to prove that it can eventually resurrect. Full stop.

I am intrigued by the Vostok airdrop. Will all holders automatically get the new tokens? Does the fact of having lended the tokens affect the possibility of receiving Vostok? WIll exchanges support the airdrop?

If Jullar is a funnycoin than LoL. If it is a serious project that's totally surreal since Jullar in itself would likely just be another shitcoin in the row. It seems anyway that the project has no community since only the Jullars are posting in their thread.
It must be noted however that the whitepaper at first glance has been done with some care. And so has the website. So there is also a chance that this project is not too bad after all.

DISPATCH LABS looks like a high quality project, something rare in the current landscape of copy-paste coins. I hope they will launch a bounty campaign so as to share their project with a wider community.

Finally a good new coin project which has succeded in impressing me. A lot of good ideas topped by the very wise approach of avoiding an ICO or an excessive share of the premine allocated for the founders. And a simple, great name. Well done! I will follow X-cash closely and take part to the airdrop.

I have considered it too and then as I've delved into this project a bit (just a bit, for the moment) I've sensed that this is one I'd like to promote. I'm also impressed by how many merits the OP of this ANN has got.

I can't believe the current price of Waves is real, how on earth could it tank back down to 2.5$? From an ATH of over 16$ that's a scary drop. WHich is the bottom in your opinion?
