Thank you for supporting auroracoin. you can sell your coins on zapple.com
[/quote]

Please be advised that Zapple exchange will be closing on December 31, 2020.

I've received the relevant e-mail message on October 13.

Here's the mail contents:
"We are sorry to inform you that Zapple is closing down operations.  We had been due to launch a novel banking product this year but the impacts of Covid-19 and a changing marketplace meant it was not possible to launch in our original timescales.  With upcoming regulatory changes in the UK and a product not ready for launch we have made the difficult decision to cease operations.  We are currently looking for someone to buy Zapple’s intellectual property and, potentially, to serve our existing customers.

Unless a buyer is found for Zapple before the end of the year then Zapple will be closing from 31st December 2020.  From 1st January 2021 until 31st January 2021 the site will operate in a withdrawal-only mode.  During this phase trades and deposits will be forbidden.  From 1st February 2021 Zapple will be offline completely so it is imperative that you withdraw your assets by this point as they will no lost if not withdrawn at this point.

We are working with partners to support their customers and currencies during this time.  If alternative offerings become available we will notify you before the end of the year."

I've checked only today zapple exchange since I traded AUR/BTC, AUR/BCH for about 6 months ago and withdrew all the funds.
And yes, the relevant message about closure is posted on the home page of the exchange.

They try to find a solution to keep the exchange online. Hopefully they will succeed!

Hello everyone,

A week ago all CCN assets were sold suddenly at Novaexchange and coin value dropped to zero.
Today i got an email from Novaexchange about they are closing the market. It explains this sudden sale and it's an another scam for me. It looks like Nova was the reason for this sale and it looks like an exit scam  Angry

With losing the last market and an another damage, i've decided to leave this project... CC was a nice personal project but it just made me spend more and more money. (market fees, constant buyings to keep value stable, 2 block explorer, 3 additional servers for alive nodes etc etc)

I'm going to terminate all servers one by one in a week.
Thanks everyone to be a part of CC.

Regards.

Hello,

That's a pity!

Unfortunately NOVA is closing its exchange on October 7 Sad

There were some interesting coins that moved from Cryptopia after its liquidatin and CC was among them:)

Have you already stopped all the nodes?
Is it possible to enable them for some hours to complete one transaction if you will not incur any costs for that?

I just wanted to send the coins that were bought at NOVA to my Windows wallet in order to have them ready in case you sell the project and somebody will revive CC coin.
Or you think that will never happen? and there is no sense?

AltHub seems to be still alive.

I've just visited it accidentally, logged in and found the above transaction as completed 3 months ago.

I checked and ....yes, I had 99.60520942 DOGE incoming payment on June 11  Cheesy

I will test it for a week or so to find out whether faucet is fully active and pays.

Hello Auroracoin Community,

I'm DavinciJ15 I´m developing Pandora´s Wallet and I am planning on adding Auroracoin to our wallet and test out the send and receive.

Can you please contribute a small amount to get the testing running.
Auroracoin Address: AXGYLXD812aznWznbsbziKWPw1Mrc5MyEn

Thanks for the help.

Hi, DavinciJ15, just've sent 10 AUR.  (TX id: e1c017542f062cfdfd5f0e4430c8bb24a__________)

I suppose that will do for testing. The AUR transaction fee is usually low.
If that is not enough please inform  Wink

Back in market!

CoolindarkCoin is in NovaExchange now! Since there is a CC ticker, please be aware that CoolindarkCoin ticker is CCN in NovaExhange.

https://novaexchange.com/market/BTC_CCN/

That's great!  Smiley

Please check the issue with CoolindarkCoin at ProBitExchanger.
Before closure of greenonline exchange I tried to move my coins to  ProBitExchanger.
When creating CC address at ProBitExchanger the system returned "该币种配置异常,无法转入!" (google translated it as "The currency configuration is abnormal and cannot be transferred!").
I've just tried to generate CC address again and the error persists.

If possible please resolve the issue or update the Markets section in the first post of this thread since CC deposits are not available at ProBitExchanger. That will prevent users from unnecessary registration at ProBitExchanger.

is the one listed on yobit good? or they are on the old chain? also deposit and withdrawal issues? LOL you all know how yobit is

They are still on old chain but with open (marked as online - 1068495 blocks) wallet. Current PAK coin block count is totally different.

I've looked through this thread to find info about Yobit wallet status but decided to test withdraw from Yobit with 10 PAK coins just a week ago.

Here's my transaction that was sent from Yobit and never appeared at the destination wallet  Grin

I can not enter the site. The page writes "The site althub.club does not allow to establish a connection." Using VPN opens. What is the problem?

I did not experience such a problem throughout entire period I joined althub and I do visit it everyday.

So just try the following:
- clean cache and cookies in the browser;
- use another browser;
- use VPN to log in the site just to send a  support ticket   to report to admin about the problem.
or try to contact admin of AltHub via twitter account   Wink

Re: Cryptopia - ONLINE ARTICLES related to hack & theft of funds 2019

Am trying a slightly different format for the OP listing of articles - what do people think?

Well, if not taking into account the previous format, I would point out the following benefits in new one:

- viewing all titles of articles in one post allows to choose the one of your interest while not going through entire thread;
- for the contributors it is helpful to have a quick view and not to duplicate already submitted articles;
- a post about lost (stolen) and frozen funds will be even more interesting after reopening of Cryptopia or statement from Cryptopia on those figures.

Re: [FOR MERIT] when was the word "halvening" created.

As to the first uses of halving, my investigation brought me back to bitcointalk threads but from outside site, i.e. altcoin wikia http://altcoin.wikia.com/wiki/Coiledcoin that referred to our bitcointalk member thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=56675.0
and it dates back to January 05, 2012  Cool

I searched both of those and found no use of the word "halvening". Are your links correct?

Actually you were not supposed to search for halvening since I stated "halving" but not "halvening" in relation to those links in my post. They represented my initial intention to dwell on one part of the origin of the word "halvening".

In opposite to other suggestions of "halvening" origin,  i.e. Doge coin community discussions that encouraged some Reddit members to use it more and more often, I stick to the point that creation of "halvening" term was inspired by combination of "halving" and "hapenning".

I suppose that roycilik post in this thread quoting "August 11, 2012, 09:03:42 PM" as the first time use of "halvening" confirms that it was neither Doge coin community to create the term "halvening" nor Reddit community to take it from them because Doge coin was introduced after that date.

During further research I found some more links supporting the points regarding origin opposite to mine. They claim that it is just stylization of "halving"  https://cryptocurrencyfacts.com/bitcoin-halving-explained/    or http://bitcoinandmarkets.com/glossary/ (when adding ending "ening" like “The Flippening.”).

I’ve just googled over the web and found a definition that is quite comprehensive for me as a newbie.

So, according to Expressvpn and their glossary, halvening comprises two words "halving" and "happening".

https://www.expressvpn.com/internet-privacy/bitcoin-glossary/

Quote
Every 210,000 blocks, the block reward is halved. Starting from 50 BTC per block in 2009, it currently stands at only 12.5 BTC, after two halvings. Eventually, the block reward will go to zero, after 33 halvings. Also called a “halvening” (halving & happening), this event is popularly celebrated, similar to a New Year’s Day of Bitcoin.

However we will be applying for new exchange Listings. Let's see how things go on. Nova isn't a bad exchange, their support is great.

That would be great to have PAK listed on new exchanges. I used to trade PAK at Cryptopia so a bit miss PAK as a tool for BTC transfer between exchanges.

By the way I tried trading at Nova for about two weeks and I like it. They've just had a promo for referring people to Nova while giving away 100% Reward in the First Month. Furthermore, they had  "zero transaction and withdrawal fee" for BTC during that period.  Wink
