Bitcoin cash (BCH) is pushing higher against the greenback and could test the $1,200 mark soon, according to the technical charts.

As of writing, the world's fourth-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization is changing hands at $1,119 - up 3 percent on a 24-hour basis, according to data source CoinMarketCap. Prices had dropped to a four-week low of $938 on Friday, tracking the broader market sell-off.

However, over the weekend, BCH moved back above the $1,000 mark, signaling a temporary low is in place at $938.

Seen at: https://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-cash-price-enters-recovery-mode-4-week-low/

Nice -8,5 % typical pump and dump heavily manipulated shitcoin slowly but surely dying.

Why makes you think that? I see that only BTC slowly dying while markets are leaving BTC alone. On other side BCH is getting more adoption day by day.

Everything that's happening right now is a coordinated effort to remove Bitcoin from the throne and replace it with Bitcoin cash the one created by bankers

They made it so the stock market can bet Bitcoin futures so you now have wall street betting on BTC loses.

Bit coin cash has already made etherum lose half it's value and now it's #3

They will try to push bit coin to $3000. Only time will tell if the bankers will win again like they always do

^^^ this is what happens when you get high on your own supply folks!

Dear Digital drug whisperer,  can you please provide some evidence for your bold grandiose statements?  I notice you typed many words with no links.  I guess you would have included evidence if you had ANY to support your claims.  Silly me for asking right?

Explain how it got on coinbase, the one exchange most people are only legally allowed to buy from so fast?

Explain Why this fork? Out of all the others forks of Bitcoin this on lands on coinbase?

I think some bankers made it and with their connections put it on coinbase. You can say that Bitcoin cash was just put in the wild and it grew to it's price today naturally but me and you know that's just a lie right?

So how is bitcoin cash NOT a bankers coin is the real question, because everything points to it being a bankers coin, or some corporation or shadow owners

BCH made it on Coinbase because they got SUED for stealing people's BCH. There were many people with billions in BTC held on Coinbase who were not going to be robbed.

Bankers have NO CLUE - they are stuck in the 16th century. The real bankster SCAM coin is RIP-off-PLE.

After binance listing, vibe has been sliding further and further and especially for those who bought this at a premium price of over 3 dollars which have seem a 90 percent decline in their vibe worth after that.

The partnerships with big groups take time and the lawyers take further more time for approvals and forming partnerships and getting all the nitty gritty details done. Even if the lawyers can do a certain task quicker, they try to delay to get a higher billing from their client so it all has to be done from their end. Their has been some announcements which somehow backfired, the major being the superbowl fiasco but i think the team should announce only something after its already done. The task to charm people into buying more vibe through announcements wont work if they won't deliver on those.

So you bought VIBE at $3 after it experienced a 60x increase from $.05 and you thought we would hold at these levels?

When was it ever 10 bucks? ATH afaik is about 2.50 http://prntscr.com/igoyzk

It hit $10 on Binance and you will have to look at intra-day charts to see it. I sold a few to cover ICO costs - my VIBE are now "free".

Can you check how much was it in satoshis then?

VIBE/BTC on Binance on January 9, 2018 reached 0.0007 with BTC/USD at the time being ~$15000 or about $10.50 / VIBE

Interesting reading. It seems to be clear that CSW is the Satoshi brain.

I am sure that CSW doesn't want to be known as Satoshi - he regretted any statements he made to support that idea. He definately has the background and motivation.

Actually, i am one of the very little people who bought from ico.

I would be happier of course if i sold just after binance listing and rebuy now but it brought me great profit and will bring me great profit too. It just needs time. Nothing can rise all the time. It needs time.

Yes, every time it is not possible for us to get profit from the coin because after listing in the Binance there is a huge pump happened and the price went nearly to 10$. Yes, that is the right time to sell when it is at 10$ and now is the right time to buy at the dips.

FOMO chasers deserve to wait a bit for the next leg-up. It's called investing not FOMO speculation. VIBE was nicely priced at 400 sats for a while and ICO'ed at a 50-100 sats.
What is the buy zone for them is when the price soars up and when they are more greedy to pump the price. In the past price that was a $10 is the highest that might be a long time to reach again or not but will absolutely reach upon good developments and announcements from the team.

Bitcoin broke its parabolic advance so we are likely in choppy waters for Bitcoin in the near term. Typically as Bitcoin loses it drags everything else along with it in dollar terms.

I expect based on past performance when Bitcoin restarts a parabolic advance (meaning we break 20k again) the ALTS almost universally suffer in satoshi terms or break-even in dollar terms (meaning they still decline in satoshi terms as Bitcoin advances). That all said, I expect a floor of around 400-1000 sats for VIBE as we enter the next parabolic advance barring any major disruptive news on VIBE which could see it advance against Bitcoin.

It is easier to price all things in Bitcoin terms since the point of ALT trading it to gain on BTC.

Guys, please stop sending out pre-announcements.  Especially if you aren't going to stick to your time deadline.  It makes you look unprofessional and hard to trust.  Just send out news when it is ready.
I'm a fan of the project, just not the communication side.

The Super Bowl thing was a total disaster and shows that the VIBE team may not be ready for prime time. Let's hope they turn the corner here and have better discipline.

This could be a major advancement for AR technology http://variety.com/2018/digital/news/intel-ar-glasses-1202687323/

It's a monochrome (red) laser and really crappy resolution (CIF) - it's a good start. The tech used by Intel is 20 years old.

I watched the Stupor Bowl Monster Ad. a few times. I can't even see the VibeHub.io ball cap...

Of course, It was removed by the production company without informing Monster and vibehub. But I hope you didn't buy Vibe just  because of the superbowl ad. no? Because that would be stupid.

I didn't buy VIBE because of the stupor bowl - I was just looking to see if VIBE followed through on all the hype. Looks like a major fail. I was concerned with the whole Monster tie-up they have done. Monster is not known as an innovator in this space and it's not clear what they bring to the table.

VIBE has great ideas but it is execution that will make this thing fly.

Customers using credit cards on Coinbase: the following card issuers are now blocking purchases of digital currency with credit cards.

Chase
Bank of America
Citi
Capital One

We're encouraging affected customers to switch to debit card or bank account payment methods.

Some see this as bad news but on the contrary it's good you shouldn't be using credit cards to buy crypto if you do not have the money then you shouldn't be taking the risks

I'd leave the decision what to do with funds on credit cards to their owners.
Otherwise we can end up with banks deciding what we're allowed to buy with CCs as a first step, and then they will likely go further.
Hey wait, it's actually happening now  Grin

You may have possession of a credit card but all funds are strictly in ownership of the banks borrowing money on a credit card is no different that taking out a loan

What about some poor fool that got a CC with a nice 10k credit limit and bought a few BCH at $3K expecting it to double quickly only for it to now be worth $2500 and unable to afford the repayments

They are not saying you cannot use a Debit Card where you own the funds in your account just Credit Cards where the bank is loaning you their money big difference

Well, I'd expect a restriction on CC terms specifting explicitly what is not allowed to buy with your CC. If there's none, then the bank just gives you high rate loan without asking what you're going to do with the money. They determine upfront if you're able to repay the debt, and that's it. Applying a restriction looks like a change in the terms of your CC agreement.

If you have to use a Credit Card to purchase Bitcoin, you should not be purchasing Bitcoin. This is a NON-event.

Do you have a link? Looks like a good read. Could be very true every G8 country is spying on their citizens.

comment not mine: None of the fixes can possibly work, because they are like trying to attach a fifth piston in a 4 cylinder engine. Intel processors are designed to function fully subservient to the NSA and now that they got busted for it, there is nothing they can do to fix it! The "patch", which has now been revealed to try to fix the problem by tweaking the BIOS (and not the operating system, that was a lie all along) causes the computers that get them to behave like they are drunk, with random crashes, reboots, and total general instability and for some reason, once the "patch" is applied, it cannot be undone because it screws the BIOS.

Haha - thats a great analogy and I associated this here:

Segwit is like the try to generate more space in your old car -> Move out its engine to a attached tender...

right.  at what point do we call it a trolley and not a car?  From at least an engineering standpoint Wink

here the unofficial way to handle the Microsoft core "patch".  Note to facility managers and as a general disclaimer: Wait a while before implementing the following fix for these processors, just in case there is a miracle in the next two weeks. Don't bet on any true fix ever happening. Your pants are down until then.

FACT: ALL AMD PROCESSORS ATHLON FORWARD ARE NOT BASED ON INTEL TECH, AS PER THE INITIAL AGREEMENT THAT ALLOWED AMD TO COPY INTEL CORES EARLY ON. ALL AMD PROCESSORS MADE AFTER 1998 USE TECH FROM DIGITAL EQUIPMENT CORPORATION'S ALPHA PROCESSOR. AMD SIMPLY DOES NOT HAVE THE SAME BUG, AS MANY HAVE CLAIMED.

Except that AMD processors are completely compromised by Chinese "Intelligence" Agencies.

Backdoors have been build into Intel CPUs and Chipsets for a while. The ME route is an additional measure. EFI firmware is another. Having worked at Apple for many years, we all knew about the exploits to enable cameras, microphones, and peripherals (USB memory sticks and the like). USB keys are another major infection vector as the USB controllers get plenty of MIC attention. Orwell was a blueprint not fiction. Welcome to Orwell's future.

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE be fooked by Conbase weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Cry

The BitcoinABC lead developer made a commit to the real Bitcoin yesterday that should be slightly worrying for bcash holders as it's basically to update the Bitcoin repository readme to say Bitcoin cash is a scam

https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/commit/07815c08af49320454701dbe2e088540956bd049

The addition states this

Quote
+Bitcoin should not be confused with Bcash (known as "Bitcoin Cash" by its
+perpetrators). Bcash suffers from incompetent developers and the naive scaling
+solution of increasing the block size, at the cost of centralization.

Except the Bitcoin ABC repo is here https://github.com/Bitcoin-ABC/bitcoin-abc

That commit was to Bitcoin Core aka SegWit Coin
