Re: How to save successfully?
by

While it's easy for single men to save, it's extremely difficult for those with families. They need to keep their wives in check, and women always try to spend every penny they've just earned.
This is extremely difficult, because such a man bears the responsibility of both earning and saving. And if someone is starting a family, they must be prepared for it. In reality, few are, and that's why divorce statistics are so dismal.
Please do not try to connect the saving attitude with gender. My point is different here, Not only women having the habit of spending alot there are many examples  where mens also spend alot money. Saving do not depend on the gender but it is basically a mindset or depend on their priority. We also have women who can manage  their budget well  or doing  planning for their buget. The discussion is this how can we save Successfully and this must be beyond the gender. It just the attitude  and discipline of a person or their nature of  job  by which anyone can save.

Re: The Vicious Cycle of Poverty
by
Shafique Baba
on 05/10/2025, 21:43:38 UTC
There is saying by Bill Gates that "If you are born poor, it's not your mistake. But if you die poor, it's your mistake". I do agree that poverty is a mindset and those who don't take necessary steps to get out of poverty remain it's inhabitants forever. If one is struggling with his financial matters then he has to plan a strategy today, so that his coming tomorrow is better then today. Thanks to this forum, we are now much aware of Bitcoin and other cryptos that can really help people in improving these financial conditions.

Not everybody has the same privilege to overcome poverty hence I don't think it's our fault if we die poor. We don't have equal opportunities to get out of poverty. We have the chances when it comes but what about if it doesn't come. Not everyone is fortunate to have the extra cash to invest into Bitcoin. Some people only have what's enough for their survival and some don't, they keep managing until they finally die. People like to make it sound like everyone was given the opportunity to escape poverty but they decided not to but to stay poor.

Nobody likes poverty, everybody wants to get rich but that's not possible as we'll always have those of different financial classes and that's how the world just is. Although we can try to make our situation better than majority but let us not act like everyone has the same opportunity because that isn't the reality. The world has never being fair and it'll always be that way.
Although not everyone wants to be poor. I agree that all of us not get equal opportunities. Not getting equal opportunities is  valid point. poverty is not result of personal effort it is result of  poor planning of govt  policies. Some people get best while other face struggle. In equality in opportunity is the cause of  wrong govt policies. That push the middle class toward poverty. Mostly govt give support to elite class. The distribution of resources is also unequal among the society. Govt give weak support to small businesses. Some how govt is responsible to creating gap between rich and poorer. Govt should utilize capital in such a way that it give benfit to the labour. Hence, my final judgment is remaining poor is not personal choice but other factors also involved in which environment of surrounding, policis of govt and unequal distribution of money.

Re: Is money actually the root of all evil?
by
Shafique Baba
on 04/10/2025, 21:33:35 UTC
As students, we are taught that money is the root of all evil. But in reality, this is not correct because the waste or use of money depends on the individual. For someone whose mind is like an animal, money is definitely the root of all evil. But for someone whose mind is good and who spends money for the good of others, money is definitely an important asset. That is, based on the use of money, people say that money is the root of all evil.
Money is not root of all evil, sometime having no money can be reason of evil.

If you think money is root of all evil  its  means that the next person is taking or Perciving it  negatively. People used to commit lot of crime to get it.

But it doesn't mean money itself is bad. For me money is a medium, its depend upon its user. It can be used for good purpose or it can be used to give harm. In my perception,  the money is not root of evil or its completely depend upon its user.

Re: Salary VS Profit
by

on 04/10/2025, 17:35:11 UTC
It all depends on the mindset and there is nothing wrong with that because sometimes there are jobs that pay us a lot so that we don't need to think about anything else other than the responsibilities of the job and all our needs and desires can be fulfilled, that is a good step in my opinion if someone's desire and ability are like that, because not everyone wants and understands doing business to make a profit.
I feel the same way, for an average person job is better option than business,. Specially from responsibility point of view. An Average man's usually have the  limited vision and he feel comfortable with fixed   income or incentives or less  work.whereas in the business there is  chance of getting higher profit margins .But it need higher  responsibility and higher risk taking ability and broader vision. So according to me  its totally depends upon the mindset or aptitude of particular person and his comfort zone.

Re: what are the best ways to save cost?
by
Shafique Baba
on 03/10/2025, 20:36:12 UTC
For every commodity, there are always alternatives. Some products are made for the rich, some for the middle class, and others for the average citizen. The best way to economize is to focus on the category that matches our current financial capacity.

Take food, for example  which is the most basic human need. Even with something as common as rice, it is sold in different grades and price ranges. Choosing the option that fits our pocket without compromising too much on quality is one practical way to reduce cost and still sustain ourselves in tough economic times.
I totally disagree with your point how is it possible for a person to cut down on their meals. Without proper Meals no one can perform their duty well. Cutting caused by skipping meal is not a good approach. We can use other ways to reduce the expenses. Let suppose instead of shopping from mall you can buy items from the local markets. Where things are available on cheaper prices. Usually big malls charge higher prices of their products. So find out substitute markets. Moreover you can buy the things on the sales season. You can cut the cost by using the public transport or the bicycle . Or you can buy the second hand products. Or you can avoid the brand products by giving the preferences of local products. So I am totally disagree with your point

Re: Wealth without a business
by

on 30/09/2025, 19:32:43 UTC
Those who are working in exchange for salary without running their own business are living a secure life because they are getting a fixed amount of money at a fixed time for which they have no extra worries. However, this is only a fixed amount of money which will never make them rich but they can live a normal life by meeting their daily expenses. There is no alternative to business to live a rich life. Without business, no one will be able to become rich by just job. so business is definitely needed to become rich and run a luxurious life.
Although those employees who have fixed salary feel secure but it doesn't mean that they can always  meet their all financial needs. Employment under any company often keeps you at one stage. With only  minimumal increments . I think on other side those who run thier own business no matter its small or big always have an opportunity to earn more, their profit is flexible. The more you risk lover, more chance of  getting profit. Mostly our middle class family reclutant in the matter of risk. That is is the main reason of getting average earning. In economic there is set rule of consumption and saving i. e 60 expenseor 40 saving from the earning.everyone should follow this principal and always keep 40% aside in the name of saving.

In my opinions while finding the ways to earn money is important, thinking about how to save money is equally essential. Saving does not mean setting aside  huge amount. It's a habit of keeping consistently a small amount a side. By doing multiple job everyone can save a little amount . It is very difficult to save money with one source of income. Without saving it is  hard to achieve your dream or handle the emergency.
I understand that many middle class families struggle with the idea of saving. But I believe they should look the ways to save their miney or meet their expenses. There is no space for blame, in the era of inflation each member of the family  need to contribute financially.
The key lies in financial management, but we acknowledge that saving money without a steady income is very difficult in this day and age. A steady income is sometimes only enough to cover monthly expenses, so it's understandable why some people don't have savings or any investment assets.
Making an effort to find additional sources of income is the best solution so that we can have savings, which can serve as an emergency fund or be invested. Although this approach may not lead us to complete financial freedom, I think it can at least allow us to live comfortably and be well provided for in the future.
Economical condition of a country determine the income level or saving level of thier citizens. The economical  stability ultimately lead the increase in saving and income. Employees can get enough income with single job to maintain the standard life. Fluctuations in monetry policy affect  adversly. In Instable economic condition, citizens have to do more than one job to fulfill their financial need. Fluctuations in monetry policy or inflation affect middle class or lower middle class badly. My Conlusive point, strong  economic lead rais in income and saving while instability reduce them.

Re: Is a University Degree Still Worth Anything?
by

on 30/09/2025, 14:32:40 UTC

It varies from country to country. As we belong to developing country, most people here focus on obtaining high degrees. They often spend lot of amount on getting higher degrees. In developing countries, having the higher degrees increase the chance of getting  higher jobs. Because here many people are still unaware of importance of practical skills.
Whereas the developed countries emphasize both on degrees and skill equally. They usually train the student at university level , so by the time they graduate, they already have the skills. When they enter in the market they play better role as compare to us.
Personally I believe that both degrees and skills are important for the career success

I concur with you, many in thinks that degree alone can 100% guarantee jobs but without practical skills the paper doesn’t carry much weight. What developed countries have done well is to integrate practical trainings into the  university system so that graduates leave with both theory and practical experience. Also if students actively seek internships, projects, and certifications alongside their studies, they stand out far more than those with just a certificate. Degrees still matter, but combined with relevant skills and experience increase it worth.
I want to share my thoughts with you that i used to think that why there is a line between degree and skills.  Why our  educational system not produce people with degree along skills. When our youngster complete their educational fields why they have to spend more 3 to 4 years in learning the skills. I think our system must focus on this issue to combine degree with skills. It is basically a wastage of time by this our youth enter late in the market that affect our economy financially and also affect them as well if our youth learn skill with degree timely they can perform more efficiently or wisely. Oftenly in economic success, timing playe vital role

People are saving even in the presence of inflation. How are they doing it? Are they stupid? No, they have the discretionary money to save or they have money left over after meeting their daily needs.

But what about those who struggle to meet their daily needs? Is saving easy for them? Or should it be easy? Would you still say that people complain unnecessarily about saving?

In my opinions while finding the ways to earn money is important, thinking about how to save money is equally essential. Saving does not mean setting aside  huge amount. ....
In fact, a university degree may not be enough to get a job, so it is necessary to acquire skills as well. According to my country, people with work experience are preferred over university degrees. However, university degrees are evaluated in some job fields, but those positions are very limited. And experience is preferred in company jobs. Those who gain experience in any work do not have to be unemployed, but those who get a degree sit unemployed if they don't get a job. And despite having a university degree in our country, it is difficult to get any government job without bribery.

That is from your own point of view, their is know point for discrimination between degree and skills both are very important stage one needs to acquire because they help in gaining financial stability among people. Some people doing well now are people without skills but  educational qualification while some also are not academically balanced but have skills that transformed their life for good, so inconclusively both are important level one needs to attain so as to put you ahead of your pairs.

It varies from country to country. As we belong to developing country, most people here focus on obtaining high degrees. They often spend lot of amount on getting higher degrees. In developing countries, having the higher degrees increase the chance of getting  higher jobs. Because here many people are still unaware of importance of practical skills.

I'm new here & want to know about bitcoin but finding it very difficult to easily get adapted to it.
Please how do I go about this?
I need your assistance please
You have chosen a very good platform to learn about Bitcoin. Here you will find all kinds of information and you will see that there are all kinds of discussions about Bitcoin here. Along with this, I recommend this book Blockchain Revolution written by Don Tipscott. This book is very useful for understanding Bitcoin, I have been reading it myself. This book explains how blockchain technology is changing every sector of the world such as finance health and governance. This technology is increasing transparency and trust by reducing the need for middlemen in the middle. After reading this book I felt that blockchain is not just a digital currency but the foundation of a new digital world.
