I don't trust any dev. Most devs are here to sell you promises and earn money from you. Even Satoshi disappeared as he knows that he can't show himself to the public as the pressure will be too big from everyone.
This is pretty close to the truth but there are some good ones. so may even have been good intention and ran out of ideas or skills but some are just plan scammers.
Craptsy has been a joke for a while now. I'm sure it's like some of the others here said and they have a fractional reserve and they also pay games with wallets and also arb games. I only ever traded a small time amount of coins there and that was over a year ago when I noticed odd things going on with withdraws. I'd stay away as it will most likely implode in on it's self.

XMR is way better as it is a real asset and its not tied to pump groups like this one for what i see
It's going to be dead when the chain gets too big. Now what coin is working on a technology to actually shrink a block chain?
Hint: it's going to be in zk-snarks.
Which have huge block chain bloat issues of their own. Worse than rig sigs. Also they are basically zerocash (of the zerocoin/cash twins) which has a massive fatal issue. You have to trust the dev to destroy the key that creates the coins. If dev doesn't destroy it or keeps copies he can mint as many coins as he please to dump on your head anytime he wants. Do you trust SDC's devto do this after all the crap they pulled?

I do agree with your first point, there are no clean communities as they are always changing day by day. Pookie was temporarily on the XC train, but was known in our thread as being one of the worst XC trolls out there (and we had our fair share of FUD/trolls).
I'm just saying though, your community's track record does not look good in a situation like this given the new information that is coming to light. It makes it a much more plausible scenario. I dont mean to offend you in any way, but this recent event has crippled XC, and all fingers are pointing towards a few of your members. If such is the case, I wish non other than karma and retribution.
It's true they conspired. I just read a thread where a guy stated pretty much exactly what these SDC guys planned to do days before and it happen. The SDC people are as slimy and fifthly as they get. Totally turned me off their coin.

I think this looks to be worth a try. Can't be much worse than spending good money mining some other coin and getting ripped off. I'll buy some during ico.
